It was the d***slip seen around the world. The latest in a long string of PR disasters. I swear I don't go looking for it, chaos finds me.
With an FCC investigation hanging over my head, I'm banned from competing in MoM, the Men of Muscle bodybuilding tournament. Bodybuilding isn't just my passion, it's my life—and I want my life back.
Enter Decker Carlson. The PR whizkid brought in to get me out of this mess.
He hatches a brilliant cleanup plan, which, of course, goes off the rails because—I repeat—chaos is drawn to me.
Instead of fake dating his friend as planned, Decker and I get snapped together and the media thinks we're a couple. To be honest, I'm not mad about it.
As badly as I want to move on from this fiasco, I'm glad the universe brought Decker into my life. Even if he is closed off. Even if he insists on keeping things professional.
There's something between us neither one of us can deny. The question is—will Decker be brave enough to take a chance on a hot mess PR disaster like me?
MOM is part of the BBA (Bad Boy Academy) series, but each book can totally be read as a stand-alone and in any order you like.

4.5 stars. Remember the nipplegate? This is what happened to Rocky, only it was a junkgate or d!ckslip. His stupid, way-too-tight G-string just asked to snap, and oh boy, did it snap! It’s all over the internet. Rocky Summers is a twenty-eight-year-old bodybuilder, and bodybuilding is his life. Because of the G-string that snapped he’s banned from the Man of Muscle bodybuilding tournament and needs a good PR to erase all this sh*t. In steps Decker Carlson.
Decker is twenty-five and a PR genius. He’s petite but feisty. He left a large firm and started one of his own. He’s the one who will save Rocky’s career.
The plan is to set Rocky up with a fake boyfriend, but the said fake boyfriend couldn’t make it on time. After being seen together people think Rocky and Decker are a couple, it’s (again) all over the internet. They need to continue the fake dating together.
Rocky is so much more than a big bodybuilder, he’s kind and has brains, and that’s exactly the reason Decker lost his professionalism in no time. The attraction was instant and mutual.
This was an awesomely written novella. It’s a feel-good story, alternating with sexy, sweet, and some hurtful moments from the past. The characters are lovable. Altogether, it was a wonderful experience!
'I'm putting your needs first. When has a man ever said that to me? Never. The answer is never. Until tonight.'
I absolutely loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I was captivated right from the start and couldn't put it down. I loved both Rocky and Decker. I felt really bad for Rocky as trouble seems to naturally find him, and the d-slip seen worldwide made me want to crawl in a hole and hide. It's not like he did things on purpose, and being well-endowed apparently brought assumptions that hurt his feelings and I couldn't blame him- people thought he was dumb and a player. He was actually very smart and hardworking, and came far from a poor upbringing.
I loved Decker's personality. He's very smart and what happened in his past makes him determined and fight harder- not only for what he wants of his own life, but in his work for others. I loved that he was genuinely angry on Rocky's behalf about what happened to him, and vowed to not let a scandal end someone's life. I also loved that while he was fierce when it came to work, he was actually more shy and sensitive when being himself.
I loved the dynamic between the two of them and the way they connected right from the start. The chemistry between them sizzled and felt so right. I also appreciated the way they supported and respected each other. Their bedroom scene was hot! And I LOVED how honest and open Rocky was with Decker the next morning.
I absolutely couldn't put this book down and was disappointed when I finished because I wasn't ready to let these two go yet. I also loved the supporting characters and hope I'll get to read a book for Zane. This story was such a beautiful sweet romance. 5 stars
Rocky and Decker. On paper they should be complete opposites, in person they are but then we all know what they say about opposites? In this case it is very true however it could be that these two are crossing some boundaries, lucky for them that they have eight hours, a vortex where it is just the two of them, not a Man of Muscle and his PR representative, there to save his career. It's also fortunate they are able to establish a connection, the option of asking one another inappropriate questions, when needed.
They shouldn't have come together like this, it's certainly not what Decker had planned, he had his best friend Zane lined up to be Rocky's fake boyfriend, to save the public image. But then a rockfall hampered that plan, there was a paparazzi Decker forgot to cancel, and well, one thing led to another, there was no going back. He might not be a fan of the chicken and rice smoothies Rocky eats to maintain his physique but something has clicked between them and when the chemistry works... Well you just have to roll with it.
Absolutely brilliant. If you're already familiar with the Bad Boy Academy you'll recognise some of the characters but this book stands completely on its own too. Believe me though, you'll want to find Casey's other books if you haven't already. The writing is just brilliant, you'll be laughing out loud and shaking your head at the antics of the characters whilst simultaneously melting into a pile of goo at how happy it makes you to read their romances!.

After a scandalous wardrobe malfunction goes viral, chaotic bodybuilder Rocky finds himself banned from the Men of Muscle tournament and tangled in an FCC investigation. Desperate to salvage his career, he’s paired with Decker Carlson—a brilliant but emotionally guarded PR expert tasked with cleaning up the mess. The plan? A fake relationship with Decker’s friend to shift the narrative. The reality? A paparazzi photo of Decker and Rocky sparks a media frenzy, and suddenly they’re the couple everyone’s watching. As the chaos escalates, so does the undeniable chemistry between them. Beneath the public spectacle lies a deeper question: can a guarded PR genius take a chance on a walking disaster with a heart of gold—and can love be the one thing that finally goes right?
I loved this story which was a chaotic, hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt journey through scandal, identity, and unexpected romance. I loved that Decker, the PR expert, thrives on control and professionalism and Rocky, by contrast, is impulsive and emotionally transparent. Their dynamic explored how vulnerability can challenge emotional walls, and how love often requires surrendering control to something unpredictable and real. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
This is a delightful story with two engaging, relatable, lovable characters finding their way together in a comedy of errors. When Rocky has a wardrobe malfunction during a Men of Muscle tournament, he is desperately in need of a PR guru to get him out of the media mess and an FCC investigation. Enter Decker, a PR whiz kid, who suggests a fake boyfriend as the ideal solution. When the planned boyfriend candidate doesn’t show up at the appointed time and place for the relationship to be revealed, Rocky and Decker are inadvertently photographed together and they are instantly the low key, longer relationship couple. As they play out the role, the physical and emotional connection grow steadily, leading to a long term commitment to each other.
Short, sweet, meant-to-be solution to Rocky’s problem, one that yielded the forever person to complement each of their lives. Very entertaining story that had lots of smiles from me.

This is an opposites attract romance novella, featuring Rocky and Decker, and is book two in the BBA: Bad Boys Academy series.
Rocky, a chaotic bodybuilding star banned from competing after a viral scandal, is forced to work with PR expert Decker to clean up his reputation.
This book is fun, sweet, and a little chaotic, just like Rocky. The fake dating turns real fast, the chemistry is great, and watching Decker slowly fall for the loveable disaster in front of him is entertaining to read. I just wish this book was longer.
Things to expect in this book are: Book 2 in series MM romance Novella Opposites attract Body builder x PR specialist Size difference Wardrobe malfunction Fake dating Himbo MC loves crocheting MC loves reading Spicy times & dirty talk Admit feelings Found family HEA
Rocky gets into trouble due to a wardrobe malfunction. (he is a body builder taking park in the MOM tournament) and now everything is going wrong. Thankfully he has help from a guy called Decker who is going to change all the negative publicity into positive. Decker comes up with a plan that Rocky needs a fake relationship for good PR but when fate plays a hand and Decker and Rocky get to spend an evening together everything changes. This is an Uber cute read and I couldn’t help but really like the main characters they are just so perfect for one another the passion they share is of the chart and I do feel that they had a deep connection. A great Red can’t wait to read. Kynan’s story next in GTL.

This book was a very quick, very enjoyable read. Rocky and Decker meet after Rocky has a serious wardrobe malfunction while competing in a body building event. Decker has the perfect plan to get Rocky out of this particular PR disaster but a poorly timed rock slide triggers a new situation that changes everything. It is apparent from their first meeting that there is serious chemistry brewing between these two. As they lean into their attraction, it gets molten! I love how this author can have the sweetest, yet filthiest characters at the same time. I loved how earnest Rocky was with his feelings and the way Decker was able to totally be himself in an intimate setting.
Review for (BBA: Bad Boy Academy) MOM by Casey Cox
This was an interesting story for me. I love trying newer authors to see what's new out there. Casey Cox was a joy to read. Who doesn't like men with muscles and bodybuilding? Yep, I'm there lol. Rocky needs what Decker can bring to the table. Not just better PR for him, but also what else he can bring to his life. I just couldn't stop till I found out how the story was going to end. I look forward to reading more by Casey Cox. I'm a new fan.
ARC review. A short intriguing read that I enjoyed very much. This is part of the BBA (Bad Boy Academy) series. Decker and Rocky meet after a small PR disaster, but luckily Decker has the solution to the problem. They both benefit from this since a chaotic situation turns out to be the best thing to ever happen to them.
MOM is the second book in the BBA: Bad Boy Academy and can be read as a standalone. This is a grumpy/sunshine, fake dating, opposites attract read about Rocky and Decker. I enjoyed this story and the wonderful characters, I am excited to see what comes next.
Fun! Great character development! This short and sweet story lets you get to know Rocky and Decker up close and personal. Enjoy why and how they meet, reveal their embarrassing moments, and savor every steamy moment!!!
The perfect idea to help a body builder get out of a situation he never intended to be in makes for some enjoyable reading. Sometimes are just too big to keep in place.
I know these are short stories for the BBA crew, but honestly, I wouldn't mind a more expanded story for them. I liked these two, but it definitely felt like some of their more innate personality was missing or hidden. I love a good short and sexy story, and this definitely was that. There was some silly build up to their attraction & relationship. They were sweet and passionate with one another.
Decker gave me some serious Robbie vibes from Givers.
MOM was an entertaining read, and I love the BBA guys. I don't know whose story is planned next, but I will look forward to it when it's available.
I received an authorized copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.
