For years, the past has gone unknown, and unspoken. Dutch thought that he did his best at burying a secret. He really thought that he would be able to get way with murdering Law’s father and never have to be held accountable for it. It took 35 years, but his secret has finally made its way out, and Law refuses to do nothing about it. So many from the outside world will affiliate Sevyn with being a phenomenal father, a great husband, an unstoppable attorney, along with being an awesome son, but in this finale, he’s removing the good image and showing that he has his father’s blood running through his body, and he can get down, and dirty too.
In this season, we’ll see Law at his rawest. He’s out for blood, making him relentless, and unafraid to do to people what’s been done to him. This is the year of disruption. Law is in rare form, doing his best to disrupt Dutch’s life, and anyone that is close to him. No matter any stopping blocks that may come in the way, Law will stop at nothing to get vengeance.
In the end, anything that was once destroyed will resurface, and get the closure that it deserves. When Law is finally able to lay the past to rest, he learns that he isn’t as broken as he used to be. He can be to Soraya, and his children everything that they need him to be once the storm is over.
It was good enough, around the 61% mark is where the editing started lagging. Overall everything was wrapped up well enough toward the end it felt rushed but certain things dragged. I also felt like the whole reveal between Law and Dutch was just missing a certain finesse. I also wanted to see them parenting they sons more, like idk after the Vivian situation I just feel like they should’ve been more engaged with them kids, got them therapy something. Soraya was mid at best like sorry every-time she was confronted with her weird choices we had to hear about Law and other women. Accountability was something she barely took. Was law wrong yes, but once you say I forgive you I wanna start fresh why are you bringing it up every 4 seconds? Whole time was law mad that someone almost got that cat yes but the problem is the omission like if I gotta bare all my sins so do you and the fact that she only said something cus she was scared Dominic was gonna say it louder is a bit annoying. Still a happy ending and enough to keep you entertained but I really want Diamond to write us an FMC who isn’t a bird, like they start off okay and then immediately get to clucking. Cus you divorced him over a miscarriage and then threaten to abort the babies cus you mad?? I also felt like at times we was getting too many sex scenes and not enough story progression like the placement was tiring at times cus it’s like we have drama let’s get into that spend a lil more time there.
All 3 of the books in this series was AMAZING, but this last book took me ALL THEE WAY THROUGH IT!!!…I cried like a baby at that breakdown of Solace after Law confirmed Dutch ended her husband, his father life!!!.::I cried harder at that graveyard scene!!!… Law was playing no games about making sure his family was WHOLE!!!… Dutch didn’t care how he messed up someone else’s life as long as he felt his was in tact!!!…He preyed on Quay and his desire to have something while he was still looking for direction!!!…To use him to try and get who was his bestie was crazy!!!… Dutch really had the audacity to be angry with Law for not wanting to help him after learning what he did to his father!!!…His nutzzzz were big!!!… I loved me some Legend and Creed though!!!…A mother’s love is something else and I was glad that Soraya didn’t allow them ragging on her about her hovering, that didn’t sway her about how she was feeling about Quay coming back!!!… Belt to Ash!!!…That’s what Quay needed and I’m soooo glad Law gave it to him, rather than the alternative!!!… I was also happy for the family for addition of the twin girls!!!Then to add the big sister middle name was beautiful!!!…
This series was absolutely incredible. I loved the dynamics between the characters. The storyline was great because it gave drama and excitement. I loved way how this book was written and how it could relate to the real world. All money isn’t good money. The drug industry is glorified by the world until it was created by the pharmaceutical streets but I loved how the book brought out it would only lead to jail or death. This writer encourages there is more successful careers to rely upon besides fast money. The only problem have with the book is they spoke about the wife Soraya “Yaya Crawford, and Sevyn “Law” Crawford, and Creed Crawford, they each had their own chapters but Legend Crawford didn’t have a chapter. Was this did by design? This book was a good read. It contained drama, excitement, karma, deception, liars, conspiracy, heartbreaks, manipulation, murder, moments of vulnerability, love scenes and a close knitted family. I would suggest you read the series you want regret it so go ahead and get yourself the series and relax and enjoy the ride this series will take you on.
When loyalty cuts deep, even the realest ones break character.
Although the ending was amazing, it was also expected. It was nice seeing Law tap into his lil gangsta side, but from how this started, it just felt like too much. We watched this man grow, make the right moves, and then outta nowhere—boom—a whole different version of him popped out. It gave tug-of-war vibes, but I get it. Losing his father, Knox, hit heavy, and that kind of pain mixed with betrayal can make even the realest one act out of character.
This family went through some wild times, and listen—that mother’s intuition? Right on time. When Quay went off the handle, I really wanted to see Legend step up and turn up behind his brother. Kross really tried it and ended up meeting his fate. A few characters felt unnecessary to the plot, but that’s just my opinion.
Betrayal was loud in this one, and Dutch finally got what he deserved. I’m always a sucker for a happy ending, but I’m hoping the twins get a spinoff because I need to see how their story unfolds.
law and yaya have been together since they were 11 and 13 years old, married with a set of boys things are good in life especially after the arrival of their new born daughter sarai life is perfect. well thats intill tragedy falls and there daughter dies spliting the couple up. yaya is grieving hard and struggling to be herself and love the man she was with for so many years while also coping with the fact of her new born baby passing away at night and is carrying the grief that the death of her baby is all her fault. now add in that after a while her husband is tryna get some cat and she tells him to fuck off and if he want cat go to another woman so what does law dumb ass do? CHEATS ON MY HOME GIRL LIKE ARE U FKING DUMB i feel every action yaya took and reacted to law was FAIR he hurt her bad. wish we got legend povs but i guess we wanted to show how creed was the next story but i would of loved a sweet tech who lowkey quiet falling in love one day over creed hot headedass who needed to sit the fuck down. only person i truly felt for was law mother in all this.

I read all three series Law is a Special kind of guy. In law’s mind , he knew since he was a child, he were special and gifted in his mind . Law Is his nickname because he became a prestigious lawyer. Fight for Justice of people in urban communities. He was here for a purpose. To save the youth of black young men in the community also to love he found that and his wife, childhood, sweetheart.Soyra I love this couple they went through ups and downs, and still stand tall with a beautiful children God protects his own ..Law and his family were Gods children. He did what he had to do to bring peace to his father’s spirit as well as his mother. This is a happy ending. I’m waiting for Creed to make his mark in the baseball world.
Big Law and not the little one!!! He came into book three showing his natural black behind, and the way he did Kross and Dutch had me kicking my feet. Yaya really grew on me in this book when it came to her man and her kids, she was ready to tussle, pregnant and all. Seeing Creed’s growth was beautiful, and I loved that he was able to get his second chance. One of the biggest takeaways for me was the reminder that you can’t take everybody with you, especially when they don’t want to do right by their own situation. That’s why I was so disappointed in Quay. Still, I love this family down, and I’ll eat up a Diamond D. Johnson book every single time!
This was an outstanding series! Law was a person that you should ever cross! He was too smart, in all ways. He had a reason to be cocky. This man went out of his way to love and protect his family. Soraya had his heart, and he didn't mind anyone knowing it. Their love and chemistry was beautiful. They moved past their hurt, created a much more beautiful present and future. Dutch thought he was untouchable, but Law showed him in several ways that he wasn't. Dutch was a coward. What he tried to do with Quay and Creed was crazy. Law and his family went through a lot during those couple of years, but God brought them back better than ever. Awesome read!
This was a really good series when I say it took me through all kind of emotions it took me through I love the fact of them getting it together not being ashamed to see therapy and getting Justice for his dad after all these years from lowdown a$$ Dutch crazy because in real life that's how a lot of people lose their life from the hands of the person they trust the most great job diamond great job can't wait to see the spin off with Creed and legend and also the new twins
Man diamond Johnson no she could write some series mad at this book was so good Diamond you had me on an emotional roller coaster. I was laughing. I was happy. I was sad. I was crying but that’s the kind of book I love and I love that your books are long cause I get everything that I need out of these books. I’m always looking for new books by you. Please continue to write these amazing stories that you do cannot wait to see free Sister story Five star all the way diamond.
I had the pleasure of reading this finale during my final stay in Hawaii. Diamond did not disappoint. Law was serious about his family and being the best example he could be for his son's and his other set of twins. Yaya needed therapy, and thankfully, Law wasn't letting up on couokwa therapy. They both needed the therapy, but for Yaya, it provided her with alternatives when things became too hard to handle! I love the finale, and those that need to be handled were in the lost appropriate way. I would love to see Creed and Legend five years from now, Creed is all Law while Legend is Yaya!
This was a good read. There were so many obstacles and hurdles that Yaya and Law had to tackle but in the end they did it and that all that counts. I'm not going to lie for a minute I thought Quay was really about to take Creed out but I'm glad that didn't happen. I will say when a mother knows she know. Our intuition is something else. I LOVEDDDDDDDDDDDDD Law cocky energy, it gave me life. Great read Diamond I enjoyed this. P.S I would love to hear more from Creed and Legend and get updates on the twin girls.
Law and Soraya have a tough year and divorced and the ups and downs. So many obstacles and pain and betrayal and Dutch betrayal of raising law and finding out he was the one who ended is father 35years later. Creed and Legend and the obstacles they and faced.Creed hurt and pain and almost having his childhood friend trying to kill him. It wasn't typically love story it was so good I would definitely would recommend it. I would definitely like a spin-off about Milan and Zoe so much darma and pain.
Law and Yaya had a very hard time with a baby pasting in her sleep. Yaya pushing Law away in to the arms of other women. Divorce, Co-parenting secrets bending uncovered, telling each other the true of how they feel about each other thru the pasting of their baby girl. Creed issues with Vivian, therapy . Pregnant with twins again girls time . Remarried Dutch,Kross getting as they deserve. Quay getting but whoop for trying to kill Quay. Now they can all heal from all the drama in their life.
This was an AMAZING read… all 3 books I loveee the characters , like I can literally see them playing out in my head while I’m reading. That’s how you know it’s written RIGHT. The storyline? Solid. The character development? Top tier. The author? Already a powerhouse. Diamond NEVER misses when it comes to bringing characters to life, and that’s just facts. One day, I’m stepping into that same lane building worlds, creating impact, and becoming a powerhouse too.
That man’s energy this series was crazy! But this book it was insane. When he said I’m a different kind of nigga when I’m not in office. I’ll pull up to your firm, and put hands on you, my boy. I really got! I melted and knew then I’m just as unhinged as the book baes I love! This man was not playing around! I felt every part of Raya’s momma bear mentality because I am the same way! This book had my emotions and blood pressure all over the place . Sensational
I'm so happy everything worked out for them because Creed ass was stressing me out and I'm happy law found out the truth about Dutch I just wish his mother could have come back to her senses but I understand and love how law love on her no matter what. Great book I need one with creed and Milan I need to see when creed go off to college and see if Milan get her self together.
I just love me some Diamond D.Johnson! This series was everything! Certain characters were a waste of pages because their storyline wasn’t really relevant but hey. I’m glad justice was served. I would have loved to see Law’s momma recover.
This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster being a mom of a male and always praying that he’s never out in harms way by friends or dating the wrong girl.
I was so glad when Law found out that Dutch killed his dad and grandmother. I felt kind of bad for Kross a little but honestly I don’t think he was going to pull through. I’m really happy that Law and Soraya got their stuff together, and made their way back to one another. Edward Sterling deserved his karma as well. I just wish that Law’s mom bounced back. That was really sad. This was a great book.
The final chapter ended with Sevyn Law tying up all loose ends with his frenemies in Miami. Soraya "YaYa" Law gave birth to their twin girls Empress and Destani. And the couple's twin boys were in their last year of High School. Legend and Creed would be going off to college. Both are promising to make their parents proud. A good series that is worth reading.
I have been waiting for this to come out. This series was amazing! I love yaya and law and I’m so happy they got their HEA. Loved the cross over and how we got to see Alicia and Montana with there kids. Can’t wait to get a spin off with creed and legend. Wonder if he will make it to the MLB and see that girl from Jamaica again! 10/10 must read
I really enjoyed how this story wrapped up. Law was able to tie all the loose ends, showing why he is a big stepper. I was so glad him and Yaya were able to continue to rebuild their relationship although therapy would’ve helped them the first go round. Such a good read
This story was whimsical. There were so many highs and lows. Unpredictable predictable table outcomes with Dutch and Quay. Overall the love, family bonding and togetherness of this small circle of framily was well spoken. Kudos Can’t wait for the next series from my favorite author. Diamond, the proofreader needs to be fired. It’s lowering the value of your work.
This series was amazing and Law and Yaya stood by each other through it all. Dutch turned out to be low down but he wasn’t ready for the wrath of Law once the truth was revealed. I love the way they loved on each other and their kids. The chemistry they shared was amazing and I need some more from Mrs. Diamond
Law was the man and Soraya was the perfect woman for him. This book was excellently written with well developed characters that felt real. The plot was excellently interwoven with suspense and humility. One minute you want revenge then the next minute you just want peace. Great book and one of my favorites.
This was a good book. Law was ok, I wouldn’t exactly call him a book bae like Jaheim and Montana. He could’ve not cheat through her depression. And have the nerve to make her grovel 🙄 lol overall good read!
Wishful spin-offs:
- Milan and Zoe with Shai and a boo! - Legend and Creed (5 years later!!!) 😁😁
I really enjoyed reading each book in this series. I like the way the author let each chapter tell their own story and how it all worked out in the end. I love to see strong characters in both the men and women. This series has a lot of drama with a few funny moments. Good read.
This family really went through a lot. The chaos, the heartbreak, the healing all of it had me feeling like I was right there with them. This wrapped up and ended well with me be satisfied.
Overall this was a good series. I’m hoping the twins get a spinoff because I’m really interested in their journey.
This was the perfect finale to this series. Diamond does a great job of tying up all the loose ends left in the previous books. I would definitely be interested in a spinoff with the twins as adults, as well as Milan and Zoe, and even Autumn if she gets a book..
