Taken in the Tree Farm
~Dana LeeAnn
Taken in the Tree Farm is Dana Leeann's latest venture into twisted holiday tales, where holiday cheer, a dash of danger, and dark romance are wrapped up in beautiful paper topped with a carefully crafted bow! As her second book in Luke and Seraphina's story, Leeann doesn't shy away from action and spice. There are definite trigger warnings provided before you get to the story, read them.
How would you react if you woke up, bound and dressed in a sugarplum fairy costume in the middle of a Christmas tree farm sparkling with thousands of twinkling lights? No memory of how she got there, Seraphina knew she needed to escape. Working her way through the trees, she hears the crunch of his boots against the snow. Her only option is to run, and don't look back. Snow-dusted evergreen trees and gingerbread-trimmed traps provide the perfect backdrop for a suspense filled chase, where the line between pursuer and prey are blurred – turning to something dangerous, yet oh-so-yummy!
LeeAnn is all about the spice and chase in this novella. We aren't talking Hallmark Christmas town – unless you know of one with a secret I haven't found yet **wink**. The tree farm isn't just a backdrop, it's a character that is alive with the scent of pine sap and peppermint. Every rustle in the branches could be the wind…or worse. Luke and Seraphina show a raw and primal side- revealing that emotional connection that is deep within them allowing their vulnerabilities to peek through just a smidge.
If you've ever dreamt of being chased as part of role-play games, then this book (and the previous book, Pounded in the Patch) was written with you in mind. But beware, this isn't your grandma’s yuletide yarn - it's a dark and delicious reminder that sometimes the best packages are wrapped in Christmas lights.
Taken in the Tree Farm delivers a sugar-rush of suspense that leaves you panting and pondering just how far you would go for a twisted “happily ever after.” Available on Amazon now!
