I remember reading this as a kid and absolutely loving it. I am trying to rate this on level of enjoyment that I had reading it as an adult.
I would definitely be interested in reading more of the Trailblazer books, even as an adult. They are packed full of history and they don't just paint the rosey side of history. There are hurts and hardships that kids who read these books should know about. I would definitely be interested in buying them for my own children. This one will be staying on my shelf. 😍
I grew up reading these Trailblazer books. So many impacted me and began my love for several hero’s of the faith. The boys and I loved reading this book that touched on George Washington Carver life. It was a very enjoyable read, one we looked forward to every day.
I just love the Dave and Neta Jackson historical fiction series. I have found these books to be a great way to learn about the lives of men and women who have made an impact on the lives of others. The kids love 'em, too!
