Christmas on Candy Cane Lane

Rate this book
Natasha is new to St. Louis and is looking forward to a low-key, no-stress holiday season after discovering her boyfriend of seven years had cheated on her with a supposed close friend. Little does she know that she has moved to the Christmas hotspot in the city.

Jack doesn't just share his birthday month with his favorite holiday; his parents chose his name in honor of Jack Frost, as he was born during a snowstorm. Christmas is in his blood, and he takes his job as chairperson for the neighborhood's Candy Cane Lane decorating quite seriously.

When it becomes immediately apparent that Natasha has no plans to get into the holiday spirit and continue the tradition that is Candy Cane Lane, Jack takes the situation into his own hands. Will these two burn up quicker than a Yule log, or will they find out that together they shine brighter than any house on Candy Cane Lane?

This Christmas romcom is for an 18 and older audience as it contains open-door scenes, explicit language, and alcohol use.

Festive and fun!

Oh my gawsh this story is so festive, fun, and steamy! Jack is pure sunshine and Nat is a tad grumpy (with good reason). I loved the story and character arcs, all the holiday cheer, the fun cast, and of course Snowball! She hit it out of the park again! If you need a low angst, silly, and steamy read full of holiday fun, this is it!

Jack loves Christmas, and he's kept the tradition of Candy Cane Lane alive since his grandparents passed. Every house on the street decorates, and the whole of St. Louis drives and walks along the street throughout the holiday season with a few events thrown in too.

So when Natasha moves in right next door to Jack, he's horrified to find out she's a Grinch. She isn't typically, just this sucky year in particular. Jack is determined to make sure Natasha has some sort of decoration up before the lane opens, and maybe finds himself stuck on a roof.

A funny, annoyances to friends to lovers that will give you all of the giggle kicks. As always with Liz Zerkel books, I loved reading it. I can always count on Liz to give me the goofy, and sweet MMCs and relatable FMCs.
