Coop has been undercover when they stumble along Mia his lost love that he left to protect.
“Go have a wonderful, happy life,” I cut her off. “Find someone who deserves you. Have those kids you wanted. That house with the garden. Be happy.”
This is one wild and crazy ride with evil bad guys and non stop action. This series and its predisesor never disappoint. It’s always a pleasure to dive into a new story. Keep them coming!!

Oh, the emotions of this one. Josie really pulled us into a few situations that made your stomach drop and four-letter words fall out of my mouth. If you read "Christmas with the Heros" which was short stories by Josie Jade, Jaine Crouch and Dominic Pierce, you got a little in sight to Cooper's thoughts about Mia. (If you didn't read it, there's no bearing on this book, but it was a warm and cozy anthology)
Ryan Cooper, Member of Warrior Security, a division of Resting Warrior Ranch. He's been assigned an undercover assignment as an arms dealer. Never did he expect to cross paths with his former love, the woman he walked away from because he felt he was too broken for her, Mia Thorton. Quick thinking saves her life, but that is just the beginning of a crazy wild ride. I am not giving up any of the juicy details of this heart pounding novel. It's one of those that I really should've gone to bed, but I had to see what was going to happen.
In the end love does conquer all. Cooper finds out that he's not the only one that was broken during their 6 years apart. Mia's got a little bit of baggage of her own.
Looking forward to Travis's novel, curious to see how that's going to play out.

Mia’s life has not been the sunshine and roses Cooper imagined for her and she bares the physical and emotional scars of the challenges she’s faced since Cooper left, fate may have thrown then back together but can they sell the deception that will keep them alive? Buried feelings are still there, and whilst Mia barely recognises the man Cooper appears to have become Mia’s instincts push her to trust him.
It’s emotional and gritty, action packed and edge of your seat at times, you will not be disappointed and won’t be able to put it down as you live the roller coaster of Mia and Cooper’s second chance.

Wow, this one starts off with a bang and the reader is on a roller coaster ride of suspense and romance throughout the entire story. Cooper is undercover with guns traffickers when he runs into his ex, Mia, who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. In order to save her life, he claims her as his own, but this leads to both of them getting in deeper with these bad guys. And they are even worse than Cooper realized. The only ones Mia and Cooper can rely on are each other, but unfortunately there is a lot of trust issues after their bad breakup. During this fraught time these two have to open themselves up and trust one another if they're going to survive. And if that means they fall in love again, well who better to trust than your true love. I loved this story, it truly had me on the edge of my seat. And the satisfying HEA was well worth it.

Such a brilliant addition to this series.
Cooper is working undercover trying to take down a gun smuggling ring when the only person he has ever loved gets caught up with the group.
Mia is out a remote barn taking photos for a customer when the group catch her.
Coop takes her as his hostage to keep her safe but getting her away from the group is not easy especially when the leader takes a liking to her.
So much drama and suspense but also a second chance no one saw coming but can they get away safely.
A must read and I can't wait for Travis's book.

I've been in a bit of a reading slump lately, but it didn't take long for this book to put an end to that. This is a gripping suspense story with the bonus of a second chance at love.
After leaving the Marines, Coop went to work for Warrior Security and is working undercover to bring down a weapons trafficking ring. Six weeks into the mission, and it is coming down to the wire. The last thing he expects is to run into an old girlfriend while scoping out a drop zone with three of the traffickers. His shock and fear for her life are immediate and intense, leaving him no choice but to claim her as his to save her life.
It's been six years since Coop walked out on her with no explanation. Between heartbreak and a traumatic accident, Mia struggled to rebuild her life. Shocked to see him again, she barely recognizes the cold and violent man in front of her.
The suspense of this story was intense and kept me hooked. From watching Coop face down those who would take her from him to watching him walk the fine line between good and evil, the tension remained high from start to finish. The trafficker underlings are nasty enough, but the leader is a whole other level of evil. I was on the edge of my seat as Coop and Mia played their parts. Mia truly impressed me with her resilience and strength in everything she went through. The "hunt" kept me glued to the pages, wondering if Mia would make it. Just when I thought they were in the clear, an unexpected twist put them both back in the bullseye. The final confrontation was an impressive demonstration of determination and faith.
I enjoyed the rekindling of the relationship between Cooper and Mia. They had been happy together until Cooper's final deployment. Haunted by the events and losses, Cooper believed he was too broken for her and walked away. Now they must trust each other if they are going to survive. I could feel Cooper's anguish at the things he had to do to keep their cover. Mia must overcome her wariness of him and trust him to keep her safe. I liked seeing them talk about their pasts, the regrets, and work their way back to each other.
The supporting cast was great. The bad guys deserved everything they got and more. Of the good guys, my favorite was Travis. I'm intrigued by whatever in his past made him who he is now, and I'm excited to know that his story is up next. I love his tech-guru status and his unexpected care of Mia. I loved the "family dinner" at Resting Warrior Ranch and catching up with previous couples. I also laughed out loud at the antics of Al Pacacino, the llama.

Warrior Security: Cooper Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️
INTENSITY, ACTION, AND NAIL BITING from literally the first page!!! If you haven’t been introduced to the Resting Warrior Ranch & Warrior Security men and women yet what are you waiting for. These two series contain some of my favorite characters and stories, and this installment doesn’t disappoint at all. Ryan “Coop” Cooper is a former Marine that excels under pressure and can transform to whoever he needs to be. Unfortunately or fortunately his current assignment crosses path with a past he never thought he’d see again. Coop is undercover as an angry former Marine turned arms dealer in order to take down a very dangerous group. While scouting places he finds himself facing the past he tried desperately to run from. Mia has worked for six years overcoming her heartbreak and trauma she experienced that unfortunately has caused her to have claustrophobia. Never in a million years did she expect to come face to face with the one man she’s never gotten over while she is photographing real estate. Fate sure has a funny way of bringing two broken hearts back together, especially for Mia and Ryan. Ryan has a split second to save Mia, but fate doesn’t want them to squander this chance! The group Ryan has infiltrated is full of some of the most dangerous and evil men that do horrific things to anyone but especially beautiful women like Mia. Ryan needs to prove he’s a washed up marine who hates his country and get Mia out and to safety. Although the question remains will Mia and Ryan survive long enough to have another chance at forever? Will Mia be able to trust Ryan to keep her safe and alive after all these years? Can Ryan trust that two broken people can actually be stronger together? Will Mia and Ryan survive The Gathering? This story had me from the jump because it went straight into the action and fear. I absolutely loved every page turning moment because I experienced all the emotions on this rollercoaster ride and will happily do it all over again! These Resting Warrior Security men are a cut above the rest, but the women are truly soldiers in their own right! Thank You Josie for another amazing ride, can’t wait for the next one!

~ Second chances at romance should NOT be fraught with as much danger as Coop and Mia had to face ~ Excellent addition to an intense romantic suspense series that provides wonderful characters that so deserve to find their HEA together ~
What I liked:
* Mia Thornton: photographer, claustrophobic, thought her future was with Ryan Cooper till he disappeared six years previously, finds herself in the wrong place and working hard to survive again, strong, resilient, PTSD, nightmares, proactive, someone I would like to have as a friend
* Ryan “Coop: Cooper: ex-Marine special forces, suffered/survived last deployment, now part of Warrior Security, PTSD, strong, lethal, strategic thinker, sharpshooter, protective, team player, leadership skills, good friend, loved and still loves Mia
* The way Coop protected Mia to the best of his ability while working undercover
* Finding out the backstories of Mia and Coop
* The way Mia and Cooper communicated maturely, respected and supported one another, and seemed to be perfect together both in and out of the bedroom
* Thoroughly disliking the bad guys: Oliver, Snake, Diesel, Bishop, the buyers, and others ~ Really hoped they would be taken down
* Being reminded of movies that had a similar event to the one Oliver provided for the buyers at “The Gathering” (Open Season & other “prey” type movies)
* Catching up with Beckett & Lachlan from the first two book of the series as well as seeing some from the Resting Warrior Ranch series
* Knowing that tech savvy Travis will be up next to star in book four.
What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like
* Thinking about the evil that Oliver and his militia did and the impact it had on others
* The buyers that showed up for “The Gathering” – they all seemed to be cut from the same cloth and worthy of Karma’s wrath

This was quite disturbing not in a bad way far from it i loved the story but this villain is too well described and built...so much malice.........
Ryan Cooper is undercover as a weapons dealer named Coop....and deep undercover in a militia....with lot of deranged people.....dangerous ones....he is hoping it will finish soon when fate make his squad visit a barn exactly when his past lover is doing photography....to protect Mia he will need to hurt her is not physically then mentally as lover are not allowed properties are respected....It's hurting him as he left her years ago to protect her and now he see her suffering and can't be Ryan to save her life he must stay Coop,a dangerous man.
Mia is in bad luck when she is kidnapped doing her job and one of those kidnappers is her ex fiancé who disappeared 6y ago...she does not recognise the one she loved suddenly treating her like a proterty, colluding with evil persons....she has traumas and this is sure not helping but in secret, stolen moment she find Ryan again and understand better.
Really i admire Mia strength not only she is facing her fears but also trying to help when she understand what the situation is, putting her talents in action and she is taking risks to save Cooper as well...When we see what Olivier is doing.....he sure doesn't get punished enough
I really loved how Cooper acted to protect her not matter the mission and how he shared enough to make her strong and hope...who can resist Al pacino the famous lama....i loved how he was fighting to stay himself even deep undercover and really the whole team is perfect though special mention for Travis who not only did his job but even took measures for Mia without being told or asked to) .

The ebb and flow of this outstanding romantic suspense had me wanting to hurry through the book, while also wanting to go slow and absorb every word. Mia Thornton had never thought that she would see the man she loved, Ryan “Coop” Cooper, again. Not knowing why he left, she missed him, until while filming an area for a real estate developer, she sees him. Evidently, she interrupted something dangerous and he claims her as his, to save her. Now she is accompanying him, not knowing where they are going or if they will live or die. He explains that he is imbedded with the gang to stop the sale of illegal weapons and promises to get her safely away. Every time there is a chance to do so, another deviation from the schedule alters his plan. He had no idea of the terror she had once suffered as he tries to keep her safe. In such close quarters, his vow to remain just her friend soon fails as they can no longer ignore their attraction. When one of the men tries to get too close to her, and threatens her, he knows he must get her away. Running out of time, he contacts his friends from the Resting Warrior Ranch, to initiate her rescue. Believing that things are now under control, will they finally have a chance for a future or will he be drawn in, once again, to save her life? WOW!! I could not stop reading this book once I started. From the very first chapter, you get pulled straight into the middle of danger, tension, and heartbreak. Another fantastic adventure in the Warrior Security series. This is Ryan Cooper - Coop's story. Ryan Cooper is former military, considers himself broken from life's curveballs, has found his 'home' with the Warrior Security family and has accepted that this is life now in Garnet Bend. An undercover mission as an arms dealer is just another day. Mia Thorton has been dealt a rough hand. She had life all figured out until Ryan Cooper returned physically from a mission and ended up walking away from her. This devastated Mia and life compounded afterwards with a few challenges that left Mia feeling broken. Fate has decided to give these two a second chance after six years but the game is real and the stakes are deadly but can love truly conquer all? A great story with lots of highs and lows that kept turning theae pages and absorbing every word. Ryan and Mia, I fell in love with them both and totally enjoyed the roller coaster ride their adventure took them on. As always, Ms. Jade takes her readers on a crazy, suspenseful, emotional rollercoaster of a ride – and I love it! In this story we have Mia and Coop who previously had a relationship with a very hurtful breakup, and they meet again after six years, but not the way you want them to. Mia is such a sweet person and is thrown, unbeknownst to her, in the middle of an undercover operation. Coop has been undercover for several weeks becoming a persona that he hates but is necessary to capture the leader of this militia group. He now has to protect Mia, and Mia must play her part in this charade and participate in certain degrading and humiliating activities in order to survive. What happens next is the acting performance of and for her life (and Coop’s as well). You feel both of the characters fear for each other, the constant danger that they face, while overcoming the emotions and hurt of the past relationship and the events (for Coop) that led to the breakup. They both must face their past traumas in order to have the future they both yearned for. Get ready for this edge of your seat, explosive action-packed read that will keep you up all night.

Another definite must read book and series
This was a terrific romantic suspense story that will hook you from beginning to end. Most of the character's stories are absolutely heartbreaking, and it's not only the men but the women too. Although I'm sure that most people would choose to not to go through the tragedies/ horrors/etc that they've gone through in their lives, no one can deny that those circumstances have made them stronger, even if they haven't realized it yet. Similar to the Heroine of this story. When unexpected circumstances bring them together at the worst possible time, it's obvious that even their years apart haven't dulled the attraction between them. However, can they pull off the impossible?
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
I'm sooo excited!! I absolutely can't wait to read the next book in this awesome series! Actually, I can't wait for the next two books, and the release dates are coming up soon. Travis has always intrigued me with his closed-off manor, the extreme paranoia that he constantly fights against, as well as his mysterious past with the CIA. It's certainly going to be an epic story!

Coop is 6 weeks in his undercover mission infiltrating a revolution militia and firearm dealer group when Mia appears in a militia’s warehouse. He left Mia 6 years ago to keep her safe. But here she is. He has no choice but to keep her by his side before she is killed. The story is action-packed from the get go. The plot has a lot of twists and turns that keep you guessing. Coop tries his best to protect Mia. Mia, an innocent photography, accidentally steps in danger. She shows the true grit against the domestic terrorists, even with her previous haunting trauma. The escape through the mountain and being hunted in the old mine are scary as hell for anyone. The love between Coop and Mia shines so bright, even they have been apart for 6 years. It is so desperately beautiful. Then there is Garnet Bend, the animal shelter and the wonderful people at the Resting Warrior Ranch that accept and heal the wounded. The contrast between the brutal militia compound and tranquil Resting Warrior Ranch is stark. LOVE LOVE LOVE this story! Josie has out done herself.

This is the first book in this series that I have read, and it most definitely will not be my last! The story was riveting, interesting, suspenseful, scary, and romantic which meant I could not put the book down, even if I wanted to. It was also a second chance love story which is my favorite trope.
Coop was such a deep character with many facets to his personality depending on if he was on a mission for Warrior Security and trying to survive, trying to save Mia from the deadly militia, or back at Garnet Bend. I liked how he would not let Mia down when she happened to be taking pictures at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Mia's character surprised me with her strength. I could not do what she did. She was amazing. This was such an exciting story, full of action and drama. I really enjoyed the pacing of the story and the heart stopping moments as Coop and Mia ended up in the militia's compound. I love a good romantic suspense thriller and Cooper was a great one! Ryan Cooper has been working undercover for the FBI. He's part of Warrior Security but he had the knowledge and ability to help bring down a weapons trafficking ring. He hates these people and the way he needs to act but he needs to sell himself to them. The last person he expects to run into in the Montana wilderness is the woman he left behind. Mia Thornton is in the wrong place at the wrong time. One minute she's taking pictures of a rural abandoned barn and the next she's been grabbed by a bunch of thugs. She's shocked to see that Ryan is among them. Coop needs to keep Mia quiet but he also wants to keep her safe and the only option is to claim her and drag her deeper into this mission. What happens next? Wow! I can't say anything more than you need to read this book! If you like action, suspense, second chances and heat, then Cooper is the book for you! It stands alone in the series however many of the previous characters will be making appearances.

Fast paced and attention grabbing suspense! The third book in Josie Jade's Warrior Security series brings us Coop's story. He's undercover with a dangerous militia when he reconnects unexpectedly with the woman he used to think he'd spend forever with. Thrust into danger and an uncomfortable situation, Mia shows her strength and keeps her head through it all. I enjoyed both characters and their backstory and the danger was top notch. I wanted a little more once they were safe and reconnecting. It felt a bit rushed and glossed over of the trauma and past they shared. I'm looking forward to more to come in the series and highly recommend this series as well as the Resting Warrior Ranch series that it spun off of to anyone who loves former military guys who share great friendship and brotherhood after returning home and having to deal with trauma and life after service as they each find their forever love.

Many books begin slowly and then pick up the pace as you go (think biking up a hill and then going down the other side). Some books are like a roller coaster -- the slow climb to the top and then a series of drops and swirls. Cooper -- prepare to hit the ground running or, more accurately, starting at the top of the roller coaster and hitting all the drops and twirls and upside downs. A page turner at it's best. One warrior is undercover and a survivor is found in the wrong place and wrong time. They have history and working together was the only way to survive. I cracked the book today and did not stop until I finished it. Wow. Josie Jade is one of my authors who I reserve a day to read her new books (otherwise I will stay up late, late, late to finish her books). Bravo!!!

OMG! This is another awesome story. This one is about Cooper and Mia. This couple finally get their second chance, after six years apart. It's unfortunate that they meet while Cooper is undercover. Mia was going through life only existing then met Cooper again under dangerous circumstances. Now he had to keep Mia safe while maintaining his cover. This story gets intense in certain chapters. When Warrior Security guys rescued Mia, you get the impression she was safe. The ending had you holding your breath and willing Mia to make it. So glad the bad guys were finally caught and this couple got to work on their happy ending. Oh! You gotta love Al, the alpaca. He certainly has a sassy attitude. FANTASTIC job Josie! I would highly recommend this book!
OMG! This is another awesome story. This one is about Cooper and Mia. This couple finally get their second chance, after six years apart. It's unfortunate that they meet while Cooper is undercover. Mia was going through life only existing then met Cooper again under dangerous circumstances. Now he had to keep Mia safe while maintaining his cover. This story gets intense in certain chapters. When Warrior Security guys rescued Mia, you get the impression she was safe. The ending had you holding your breath and willing Mia to make it. So glad the bad guys were finally caught and this couple got to work on their happy ending. Oh! You gotta love Al, the alpaca. He certainly has a sassy attitude. FANTASTIC job Josie! I would highly recommend this book!
