I don't have time for this. I'm a warrior maiden, oath-sworn to the Enclave to live and die by my sword in the protection of the omegas. Not only is he the enemy, giving into the pull between us would ruin my career. Because the maiden part of warrior maiden? It's not optional.
A fated mate bond would mean that I can't fulfill my life's purpose, and there's no way I'm letting that happen. So what's a girl to do?
Deny everything, and have no regrets.
I'm going to reject the bond, because I've got no other choice.★★★★★

This book contains a HEA for our main couple, and this is the final book in the Hunted Omegas series. But don't worry, I've still got some surprises up my sleeve for you.
Hmmm. For being the last book in a 6 book series it was a bit underwhelming… I liked seeing all characters again and Elodie and Valens were great, it just felt like it was dragged out for a long time. I was anticipating a huuuge fight but it ended up lasting for like less than 10% or something. It felt rushed somehow. I was also bummed about Leigh, like when will I get to meet Poppy? Possibly in a little side novella? Irked me a bit tbh
I am however, curious about Valens sister and the spinoff book for her (I’m guessing at least). But yeah, this was much of the same as the other books and Ethen it just stopped 😕

✧˖°.Post-read✧˖°.: Stawppp, I'm not ready for this to end. What an end to a series, and what a beautiful couple. This book made me fall back into this universe quickly, and I soon found myself engrossed in love, heartbreak, and new beginnings. My only complaint? I. Want. More.
Elodie was a strong poweful young woman who wasn't ready for the next chapter of her life. I mean, are we ever? She had her whole life planned out; she had her routine. Now here came a big, strong man to mess it all up, named Valens. But he wasn't just a big, strong man; he was someone who had suffered great loss. Someone who wanted a connection. But was she brave enough, strong enough, to leave the life she knew? And with war on the horizon, would she come out broken or something much worse? Or much better?

✧˖°.Final Thoughts✧˖°.: These 6 couples made me fall back in love with fantasy after a long, burnt out break, and the writing was absolutely amazing. And it's hard to close the book. But I rest easy knowing I will be rereading it. And anything else this amazing author comes out with.
I was worried about the 6th book in the series losing steam, but it was done so well. Elodie and Valens had the yearning and without giving spoilers their relationship was pivotal to a plot that had some twists even to the last page. Reading this made me want to reread the series because the memories of the other couples were so good. April Moon is definitely one of go to authors after this one.

Fated Mates / Shifters / Found Family / He falls first / Enemies to Lovers
Wow. Amazingly well concluded! A bit long but totally makes sense with how much action and battle was involved. I loved the found family and the she doesn’t need saving vibe yet she still trusts and relies on Valens so much. They’re a great team.
Freaking love Elodie. She’s the FMC we all need to read about.

I’ve realized that I don’t care for series that have the same continuing plot for 6 books. Yes each book features a different couple but they are not standalone as the plot keeps going. I’m not a fan. The plot felt dragged out and somewhat redundant. The book was ok.
The book was alright. I expected more since it was the last of the series.
Elodie seemed fragile and unstable in the book. Like she only had some clarity after speaking with Galyna. Felt like everything Valens did was kinda for nothing. They also had so much spiralling inner monologue. The author should trust the readers to understand nuances instead of explaining every thought process.
I love all the couples she created. They all have a certain push & pull dynamic. Its great! But the Elodie and Valens seem to have very little chemistry. Which I thought would improve when they both got the swords. I thought they could take out an army!!! I thought they were gonna be a supercharged coordianted swords welding warriors! but.. alas.. the war...the killing of the villain was kinda anti climtic. Everything ended in a chapter.
Alot of characters felt out of place... why did Olivia become super motherly? Fiona is quick tempered? There was a lack of continuity.. It felt like I was reading different characters.
The pixie king with the mind control was cool to introduce other character species. But it kinda took the thunder away from the omega stone and Narcissa's attack. Because the plot of TWO alpha omega couple fighting for a stone could be epic. Healthy couple VS Toxic couple.
I went into this book with high expectations after loving the previous five in the series. I was completely immersed in the world, the relationships, and especially the group dynamic—it’s what made the series so addictive for me.
Unfortunately, this final book felt underwhelming. I understand that the conflict was meant to be significant, but I felt it just dragged on to the point where it started to overshadow the story itself. Instead of building tension, it made the pacing feel heavy and repetitive. Especially with new characters being introduced, just to die.
By the end, I found myself almost DNFing. I just didn’t feel that pull to see how everything wrapped up.
It honestly made me a little sad to see a series I loved so much end this way. While there were still glimpses of what I once loved, it didn’t quite deliver the emotional payoff I was hoping for as an ending to the series.
Fated to the Wolf Maiden is the 6th and final main book in the Hunted Omegas series. I've enjoyed following the underlying plot that has flowed through all 6 books, but it did feel like there was a lot more plot in this book compared to some of the earlier books. The previous books were heavily focused on the couples' romance arcs rather than heavily moving the needle on the overarching plot. In this final book, there was a lot to wrap up generally so the romance didn't have as much on-page time. If you like a fast paced, action-focused finale then this could be a massive hit.
All of the Hunted Omegas series is available on Kindle Unlimited. If you like paranormal romances with a new couple every book but with an ongoing plot that develops further with every book, give this one a try!
Like many other reviewers, this was not the satisfying ending that I hoped for. Given the ending of book 5 and the length of book 6, I really thought Narcissa would play more of a part in the storyline. It was disappointing to have her presented as this big bad immortal evil only for her to have a blip of an actual presence in the story. It was almost like there was too much being jammed into one book - the mate bond, the omega stone, the inner turmoil of Elodie, rebuilding the Hungarian pack, the kidnappings, the guardian swords, the mind control collars, the pixie king, the orphaned nephew, the 10 day war, and all this before Narcissa even makes it to the battlefield.
One bright spot is the spinoff featuring Savvy. Although she started out as completely insufferable, I did appreciate her redemption arc and am intrigued to see where the story goes with dragons involved.

Elodie is by far my favorite character. She is a bad ass but this book almost made me like her less. I felt like I needed more of her back story. We know nothing about her parents or how they died. Knew she was mistreated by her adopted family but what does that mean? Locked in a cabinet under the stairs? Forced to sleep in an attic and cook and clean for everyone?? And what was up with the personal letter we heard nothing about? Was it from her parents? I just needed more.
Now let’s talk about Narcissa. We got hints all series about her. Then find out she’s alive at the end of book 5. At about 90% into this book I was getting upset cause it didn’t seem like we were going to get closure on that plot point. Then all of a sudden, conveniently after battle 1 ends battle 2 starts. It felt like the author said crap we didn’t tie Narcissa back in. How it panned out I’m not angry with but definitely felt more like an afterthought. I almost gave it 3 stars but I found the resolution I needed.
Happy to hear we’re getting a novella about Shay and Dirge’s time in the fae realm I just feel it’s coming a little too late. We should have gotten that right after she came back cause that random plot point pissed me off for the last 2 books.
This is the final book in the series, and honestly… it wasn’t my favorite.
FMC: Elodie is very different in this book compared to earlier ones. She used to be more fun, spunky, and light—but here, she’s much more serious.
Her main struggle is the mate bond. If she accepts Valens as her mate, she has to give up being a maiden—which has been her entire identity. That internal conflict drives a huge portion of the book… and after a while, it starts to feel repetitive.
There’s a lot of:
* I want him → pushing him away * Maybe I’ll accept him → pulling back again * I’ll just act like nothing’s changing and stay close to him → then pulling away again
That push-pull dynamic goes on for a long time.
MMC: Valens was honestly the highlight for me.
He’s:
* Loyal * Selfless * Patient * Genuinely a good guy
He doesn’t want to force the bond—he wants Elodie to choose him. And you really feel how much he cares about her.
At one point, after her heat (prior to bonding), he believes she’s rejecting him and leaves her to give her space. He gets painted as the bad guy for that, but honestly, I understood his reaction. There was a lot of miscommunication between them, and after everything she had said and done leading up to that moment, his response made sense.
Plot & pacing:
This was my biggest struggle.
The book takes about 200 pages to really pick up, and until then, it feels slow and very centered on Elodie’s internal conflict.
Once it does pick up, there are two major wars:
* The war against the ODL (controlled by the Pixie King) * A second battle involving Narcissa and Bran
Those parts were more engaging, but it felt like everything happened very quickly after such a slow buildup.
The Guardian storyline:
This felt like a bit of a side plot that wasn’t fully explained.
Valens discovers he comes from a guardian bloodline—protectors meant to serve and defend omegas. When he takes one of the swords, he’s marked and becomes stronger, faster, and more powerful.
Later, Elodie also becomes a guardian when she picks up the second sword during a moment of danger.
While the idea is interesting, it felt lacking a bit…..
* Why guardians were needed when maidens already existed * What made guardians distinctly different or necessary
It ended up feeling more like an added element for the omegas and should have focused the role to be more in the help in time of pack or species rare need … ie help in the wars and saving Valens.
What I didn’t love:
* Slow pacing for the first half of the book * Repetitive push-pull dynamic * Elodie’s personality shift from previous books * The Guardian storyline feeling underdeveloped * Feeling slightly disconnected from the characters (especially if you haven’t recently read book 5)
I do think part of my experience was timing—I hadn’t read the previous book in a while, and it felt like this one just picked up without fully re-grounding the reader in the characters.
What I did like:
* Valens’ character (he deserved better for most of the book) * The action once the wars started * The resolution and HEA * Bonus chapter details (including their future) * Savvy and dragons?! Very interesting.
Overall thoughts:
This is a mate-bond, fantasy romance with heavy internal conflict, but the pacing and repetition made it hard for me to stay fully engaged in the beginning, but once the pace started picking up, I was able to flip through the book pretty fast.
I think if I had reread book 5 right before this, I might have connected more—but overall, this one just didn’t hit the same way as the others in the series.

A satisfying finale… but not without some serious frustrations.
After following the Hundred Omega series for so long, I had high expectations for this final book—and while it delivered in many ways, it also left me a little conflicted.
Let’s start with what worked:
Valens. That’s it. That’s the highlight.
He was patient, kind, brave, and endlessly giving. The way he showed up for Elodie, for his family, for his community—just perfection. No notes. This man loved deeply, quietly, and consistently, and honestly? he deserved so much better.
The story itself was engaging, the pacing (for the most part) kept me hooked, and I really appreciated how the author wrapped up the overarching plot of the entire series. It felt cohesive and gave that sense of closure you want at the end of a long journey.
But now… the issues.
The book was too long. It definitely needed tighter editing. There were sections that dragged and didn’t add much to the overall story.
And then there’s Elodie.
This was the biggest disappointment for me.
In previous books, she came across as lighthearted, fun, and vibrant—someone you enjoyed every time she appeared on page. But in her own story? She felt like a completely different person.
Yes, she’s been through trauma. Yes, that shapes her. Yes, it explains her fear, her hesitation, her inability to trust.
But it does not justify:
* Constantly pushing Valens away * Breaking his heart repeatedly * Making him chase her over and over again
And Chapter 54?? Absolutely brutal.
Every single time she told him she didn’t want him, it hurt—but that moment, when the mate bond finally surfaced and her reaction?
Heartbreaking. Not just for him, but as a reader too.
And yet—even then—Valens:
* Comforts her * Gives her space * Walks away quietly because he’s hurt
And what does he get?
Labeled as the jerk and used as a punching bag by her friends who enable her behaviour by validating her feelings but not his.
That part genuinely frustrated me.
Because here’s the thing: men are allowed to be hurt too. They’re allowed to step back when they’ve been emotionally wounded. That doesn’t make them weak or wrong—it makes them human.
And Elodie never truly takes accountability for how she treated him. No real apology. No moment that felt like she fully recognized the damage she caused.
That imbalance made the romance feel emotionally unfair at times.
Valens deserved the world. He got Elodie.
As for the rest:
Savvy wasn’t my favorite throughout the series, but she did grow on me a bit towards the end. And that ending?? Very intriguing.
The hint at what’s coming next—with the dragons—has me curious, even if I’m not completely sold yet.
I've been waiting for this book since the ending of the fifth one but I don't know why this one just felt... underwhelming. I liked that Elodie was a maiden and knew how to fight and hold herself against anything that was thrown her way but her relationship with Valens was too one sided. Right till the end of the book she made me feel like Valens was second to her enclave and he did everything to make her see that there could be a better future for both of them together. And almost 80% of the book is about him convincing her to be his mate, not about what was going on around them other than little bits thrown here and there. I get that it was an important decision on her part but her reaction to the mate marks made me want to stop reading the book. I mean at that point of the book that was unnecessary and the drama between them dragged too much for my comfort. I waited for a little more fighting and more of Narcissa as they'd been building her up from book one but it was only like at the last 10% of the book that we saw her and she was defeated fairly easily to be a good ending for me, like it was rushed, too rushed. Other than that, I finished the book to finish the series but it left a sour taste given that it was unnecessarily long on the unimportant parts and not long enough when it was just getting good. Like it needed more but wasn't given the chance. Expect more Elodie and Valens drama than the conclusion of the series because that's what this book is mostly about unfortunately.

The 6th and final book in The Hunted Omega series. I’ve gotta say as a whole I really enjoyed this series. I liked that we got to see more creatures in this book without it feeling like we were getting an information overload. I loved Valens, he may be my favourite MMC. I was eager for this book as I was falling in love with Elodies character, however for a large part of this book I didn’t really vibe with her, I found a few books in this series I liked the main character in other books rather than their own. The mate mark scene really annoyed me because I’m not sure how Valens was meant to take that any other way and then hot head Fiona came in blaming him when it really was Elodies doing. I had the same issue with Leigh lying/misleading her friends to attack and hate Gael when she was being the problem. Savvy also acted real childish only to turn out to be almost 30, I would assume wolves especially in those circumstances would mature and grow up a bit faster than others, I can excuse the destructive behaviour but she was unnecessarily nasty to Elodie and neither Elodie or even Valens (only negative point) seemed to pull her up on it. Those were really my only complaints but probably still needed for plot and story growth. Otherwise absolutely loved this. The big battle didn’t feel too long or too short, people died and it was an “easy” win. I would’ve liked to get more info on Shay so fingers crossed for a Fae world novella
Sigh! Loved this series! Over the last…couple of years, I think? I’ve been reading this. Usually don’t enjoy having to wait for a book to come out to continue, but the wait in these was tolerable and I really did enjoy welcoming this family back for every new book. The whole adventure that spanned the series was interesting, it had purpose, and we met many more fun characters along the way. This final story was the sweetest in my opinion. The MMCs personality was perfect! He was devoted, knew what he wanted, respectful, and adorable. When he got all excited over the guardian sword, over their mate marks, over finding out how to take off the collars, he was the cutest. And the FMC, she was pretty dominant even though she’s not an alpha, and I liked the subtle control shift there. She was a badass and they were really the perfect pair. I liked how this final book gave some clarity on a few other things, like how heat happens. Don’t think that was explored to this degree in any of the others. Perfection! I’m excited for the wrap up novella mentioned, it’s always sad to say goodbye to characters that linger and develop so long they become part of you.
Dnf at 74% - the author is beating a dead horse with this series
6 books that would have been an amazing 3 book series and we're still not getting an ending? The last few books, including this one, have just been dragging out the main storyline, going off the rails with excessive absurdity and being generally unsatisfactory.
Valens is fine as an MMC. He's not jumping off the page but I do like him. Elodie is confusing. She started her place in the series as a hilarious bada$$ but has gone into insecure bordering on incompetent. She's not a terrible FMC but I expected better.
The side characters are just a jumble at this point. Their status. Their mates. Their backgrounds. Their superpowers. It's a blur of too many details and not enough substance.
The plotlines are similarly messy. This book alone is over 500 pages and so far I don't feel like any single plotline is truly resolved. It's worse than my grandmother's embroidery threads after my cousin went pawing through it at 3 years old.
It all comes out as a thoroughly unenjoyable book, in a spiraling series.
I thought this end to the series was perfection. I didn't want this book to end and I tried to draw it out because I wasn't ready to finish the series (but that didn't work, I finished it in 2 days).
I loved how steady Valens was, he understood exactly what his mate needed throughout the book and gave her his support. I also loved the deeper insight we got into Eloide. I think it really showed that sometimes people have to make difficult decision that alter what they thought their life would look like. Those choices are never easy and come with such deep emotional turmoil.
Part of me felt like the battle scenes were a little rushed, but truthfully I think it was a good choice not to spend half a book on that. The emotional payoff and character resolutions mattered more and we got that.
Based on the note at the end, we're going to see some more from this world later on and I am so happy! I want to meet Poppy, I want to check up on Bence and of course I need to know what happens with Savvy!
I really enjoyed the first half of the book. The emotional turmoil and action was pretty balanced. Elodie is a strong, capable female who has a place carved out in the world already and isn't looking for love. Fate throws her a curveball when she meets her fated mate. Does she trust in the plan of her creator or does she choose to stay where she is as a maiden Warrior the only family/ home shes ever known. This would not be an easy choice and I think the confusion she feels is well written . Valen is like the perfect guy. So patient and what not. I did get a hint at the sudden kid in his life but felt like there could have been a little more ground work there. He also went off brand when he rushed off without yelling his mate when he is always telling her not to self sacrifice..
I think the end got big really fast with lots of fight scenes..which can be meh but well written..I think some of that could have been expanded but overall had a consistent feel for the series and the happy ending with intrigue added to what's coming next.
I sat down and read this in one sitting. It was AMAZING and everything I’d been waiting for.
The series is complete and let me tell you… I’m SO sad about that. I am not ready for this to be over and I absolutely need more of the characters! They were all amazing. It’s hard to read series that are a lot of books cause I always worry I’ll feel like it just drags on but that was NOT the case for this series. It was 6 books and I still could have continued going.
Elodie deserved everything and I’m so glad she got a happy ending of her own, even if it didn’t look how she thought. Her man loved her so much and treated her exactly how she deserved. They both deserved the love they found and it was a perfect ending for this series even if I didn’t want it to end! The love and care they give everyone around them is everything so they deserved to have that for themselves!
The story line kept you pulled in to the very end and agh, I seriously am so sad this is over. I need a 2nd gen asap!!
This is 100% a 6 star read for me and I will be rereading soon!
I feel like I've been waiting for this book forever. So happy and sad at the same time....
I was getting worried because I was at 80% and no war yet. I was afraid it was going to be all closed up way too quick at the last few pages even though this storyline had taken books to finally come to fruition.
I really liked Valens alot. He was a great addition to our pack as were the maidens from the enclave. I loved that he worked so hard to make up for how his pack leader threatened and destroyed lots of things at the end of book 5. He was a great second to Lucien. and then Eloise. She is a sassy strong brave maiden. She doesn't want to give up her spot as a maiden its all she has known but she is headed for so much more and she and Valens are meant to be together.
I loved the suspense, especially once the 2nd omega wars started. I was at the edge of my seat. I loved the ending and the epilogue-- can't wait to see what comes next!
I really enjoyed the first book in this series and felt like it set the series up well for expansion. I didn’t mind the “predictable” pattern of the couples finding each other, facing an obstacle, and then overcoming to bond, but I felt like this book didn’t really do a great job of addressing the conflicts.
There was just too much going on in this book. The two wars aspect felt very out of left field and I couldn’t really buy in to the pixie involvement. There were also some editing/spelling errors that were pretty glaring, like side characters whose names were misspelled. There was not enough dedicated to the main couple or the main story. I think the author really struggled with how to marry the two plots are the series progressed, and it definitely showed in the 5th and 6th books.
I’d be interested to read more from the author, but hope she maybe sticks to trilogies, as they might just be easier to manage.
This story followed a different couple. Elodie is such a warrior and really struggled with finding her mate and losing herself as being a warrior is all she ever knew. I like how she evolved in the book and realized her own self worth. Her mate Valen is such a cinnamon roll mate. He was so patient and kind through out the whole process. and he truly believed she was destined for bigger things.
I loved how all the couples came together in the last book. and I was so excited to see where this story was going and all about the omega stone. The fights were brutal and many. But I was a little disappointed when they fought the big bad. I guess I was hoping for a little more action surrounding that.
I'm looking forward to seeing where the spin off goes when it comes to Valens sister. Hoping to see more about the other characters and where their stories take them.
A pretty decent conclusion and satisfactory ending to this series. Valens was my favorite part of this book. His character was just so caring, thoughtful, always putting Elodie’s feelings first. Which leads me to Elodie. Not gonna lie, while I understood her dilemma in the first part of this book, her continued hesitation towards Valens started to grate on my nerves. The worst was right after her heat ended. And the twisting it around so that Valens felt like the bad guy??? Unacceptable. This did drag at times, feeling a bit long for the inevitable end. When the showdown finally happened, it felt a bit anticlimactic. And we never got to learn what was in the letters Elodie received, which was a letdown. Still, it was an entertaining read.
I appreciated the journey that was this series, but I was a little bummed with this final book. Book 5 was so good and ended in the perfect spot for this one to take off. It felt like there were a lot of missed opportunities.
This was plot heavy, but felt a little slow. I liked these characters but it lacked in the romance department. There were a couple strong emotional moments towards the end that I think could’ve been highlighted more.
I rated book 1 the same as this one. Despite what I didn’t like about that book, I do think I was more invested in book 1 and those characters.
Book 6 was full of nonstop page turning action Elodie warrior maiden was fighting her fate which was to be mate of Valens While trying and failing to not want him there is an epic war going on There is so much action you can’t wait to turn the page All the characters from pass books are in this one and you are happy to see them By the end there is joy, sadness, peace and a question, who took Savvy? I can’t wait to find out. April I loved every book in this series You outdid yourself with the world building and character development. Please if you just picked this out Stop get book one and enjoy the ride
One thing that I love about this book is that it picks up right where it left off. No recapping and wasting time. The plot moves and doesn’t stall. The story concludes by fitting ALL the outstanding puzzle pieces together without it being out of place. It all fits. The book is longer than all the others but I didn’t feel it. I was glued. No, this book is not super emotional or deep, it’s just enough. It’s not meant to devastate you but make you feel connected to the characters. We know them; we know their stories. We just wanted the HEA…and we get it.
Actually enjoyed this book /couple romance. It was nice to see mmc have to fight for relationship with fmc even though they was fated mates. For those saying Elodie was "mean" especially in the scene she get her marks pleasseeee give me a break, her character clearly had reasons to be confused and upset literally the plot of the story was her leaving what she knew and loved for a different path.
Only thing I was annoyed about we didnt get Leighs pregnancy story finished in this book I feel like shes been heavily pregnant for like 3 books now 🤣 it would have been a good way to end this particular series but I guess that's getting dragged out further.
Such a great conclusion to an amazing series. Elodie and her internal battle truly had me in the feels. Valens is so hot and is so understanding he’s perfect! In this final Book, you follow all the couples come together in the final battles they’ve been gearing for all this time. And of course, the end leaves us hanging for a new series. Is this one complete? Yes. Does this story end in this book? Yes….but does it tell me a character is getting her own story? Another yes. Bring it on Miss Moon.
