Winter has passed and the world returns to life once more. Spring brings with it new life, new opportunity, and new problems.
With the pass having thawed, word reaches the members of the Ivory Spear tribe in their hideout at Silverstone valley. The baron that the village owes its allegiance to is moving troops around. Troops are camping in the vicinity of the nearby town of Amberpost.
That alone would be stressful enough, but what they had learned from the elven envoys hangs heavy over Koda’s mind, as does the weight of trying to find and connect with the beast that hides within his bloodline.
So once more, Koda and his mates must travel out into the plains, to find out what the baron’s forces are doing, and to see if the elves threats had any truth to them. Or if they were just threats.
Only the gods know what Koda will find to the south, and only one of those is on his side at the moment.
Alternate universe, fantasy races, base building, restore the land, harem adult situations
Koda and women attempt to spread news of the danger the Crooked, and the perfidy of the Elven messengers. One officially joins the harem, and another steps up to announce her intentions. Excellent editing. Naturally, it's something of a cliffhanger ending, which this author loves. Loving the series.
Koda takes his first steps from being a squad leader to a true commander of an army. After small skirmishes, he’s faced with a massive army and learns how to be a general. This was so good I finished it in a day. The way Book 5 ended… well…
This chapter in the tale really got the story going into high gear. We’ve finally gotten to battling the Crooked and meeting more members of the cast. I can’t wait for the next one. I’m so ready to read that I may jump on the Patreon just to read it as it’s written!
This definitely a must read series for those who love grand adventure! Excellent world building and continued character development is first class as always with this book in the series having much more warfare than the others! The continuation of the mystery of the MCs bloodline is a great tease that I anxiously await the answer!
This story begins like a roller-coaster and keeps that pace through 5 books of soul searching, adventure and spice. His growth into the shield of his patron has been a delight to witness. Can't wait to see what he truly is as the beast is close to shedding its fake skin. Here's hoping its something truly intimidating.
An amazing tale with characters who grow and develop. Consistent world building, good growth and emotional depth with good versus evil. Truly a timeless tale. I look forward to where the series goes!!
This series continues to allow it's characters to grow, while not making them overpowered, or making the reader question if the characters are still vulnerable.
Another fantastic book. I cannot wait to read the next one if there is one. I am in the middle of reading three different series and I can’t get enough of either of them. A must read!!
I have just got done reading all five books each book has gotten better as it went along and I am impatiently waiting for the next one, I really like this series, enough to look at other books by this author.
I've really enjoyed this series so far and this one did not disappoint the ending is fantastic the only problem is now I have to wait for the next book
The cut off and cliffhanger for this book was unnecessary. The author already had enough meat on the bone for the next book did not need to add anymore.
