The firestorm left us in shambles.

A friend is gone, having left me no choice. Mercy killing or not, guilt is threatening to drown me.

My only saving grace is Aiden, my one connected Link. We’re safe for now, hiding away in the islands, but our momentary reprieve is just that.

The attack on the academy was brutal. Many students and staff are dead or missing. Mysterious acts of nature are still happening by the day. As much as I want to turn and run, I have to face facts.

There are enemies out there, and they’re closer than we thought.

Some of them are obvious, but others leave me reeling.

I may have rejected one of my Links, but I can’t turn him or my shadow away. Our tentative truce is built on secrets. None of us trust one another, and there’s no one to blame but ourselves.

There’s more questions than answers, but one thing is

I am still lethal, and more than willing to protect what’s mine.

Book 2 of a RH and its still an Aiden show. I was skipping left right and centre, it was boring. I just finally had enough of Aiden. It shouldn't take this long to form her links or at least not show such blatant favouritism.

The same issues from book 1 are still in a loop. No new information. Just Skye on a power trip with the poor men. Did all the MMCs have to be submissive??? Come on.....!! Skyke couldn't go a day without crying and throwing up.. Just how much of wet blankets are these MMCs that she's the dominant one?

The characters are stagnant, the plot isn't moving. The whole thing about the penthouse was unnecessary, what's the big deal? We spend so much time with her kicking her links out and pushing them away. That energy could have gone into moving the plot along.

The whole Landon thing was over the top they were not even that close. I'd understand if it was Willow but this was just empty for me.

I'm done with this series. I'd say 2.5* simply because book 1 had me interested.

ARC Review

HOLY MOLY!!! While I LOVED the first book, I DEVOURED this book.

If I could rate this book 10000 stars I would.

Aiden and Skye are just so cute and perfect for each other. Aiden doesn’t just get pushed to the background while Skye continues to build her relationships with the others.

I loved the character development for Rafe and Wyatt. When they found out about Zephyr 😂😂

Skye is so dope. I can’t wait for her to finally become the queen we all know she is.

I am SO excited for this series. I can’t wait to dive deeper into the known characters but also learn about all our new characters. It had been a long time since I had loved a series this much.

Please hurry with book 3 😇

Incredible

Spoilers Alert! Don’t read ahead if you don’t want to know!

I am so glad I got to read this book. Skye and Aiden survived the first book. They hang out at her house on the island with her brother. Rafe and Wyatt show up at the house and it starts to become obvious that Levi, the father that “died” in the massacre is hiding secrets now that he can speak. He’s always treated Skye like she’s less than, she’s the fault of all problems, and Aiden, Rafe and Wyatt notice. Additionally, Levi brings up that Aiden’s parents were mated to a different woman during school. Harper I think. No one seems to think this is different, or even thinks about it again. It makes sense to me if she tried to kill Aiden at the end of the last book. She’s never been a kind mother to him, ever. So why doesn’t he or Skye put this together especially since Levi went to school with one of his fathers and even talked about how they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. Also, this new character entering into the series, River. He was the boy that was kidnapped from the massacre as it was talked about back then. River, and Skye are like oil and water. She’s pretty bitchy with River because he scowled at her several times but even when he was trying to be nice, she was rude to him. It’s obvious to me that he is also her link but no one has caught on to this fact. He is Avery, the “god” everyone is scared of, adopted son. River can also teleport like Skye. So far Skye has shown she can teleport, telekinetic, telepathic, water and air elemental. Ohhh, Skye over heard River and Alejandro aka Alex, aka the new acting headmaster of the school talking about how “she was breaking through” and “the wards won’t hold for long”. Skye didn’t mention overhearing this and didn’t put it together that they were talking about Rafes mother, the Princess. Who is slowly going crazy and acting like she doesn’t care about her subjects…. I was waiting and waiting for them to talk about this but got nothing. Now that they know that Avery is Skye’s real father, it makes sense that her mother had ice packs on her chest due to a rejected bond. They talk about how a true bonded link circle don’t get sick, but if one dies, they all die. Also, only a Bonded mate can be a King, and how Rafes mom is sick, they didn’t put it together that Alex isn’t bonded into Rafes moms circle. So how can he be king? Man, there was so many plot holes, and I just picked up on all of them. If they just TALKED! I wasn’t exactly impressed how Skye let her brother Zephyre talk down, and how he went over board breaking Wyatt’s femur. She just rolled over for him. Not once taking account that he taunted Wyatt about bedding his sister and how he’s better to her than he is. Wyatt let it get to him though, and yes Wyatt doesn’t stick up for himself around his dad but Willow doesn’t know the whole story either and just “assumed” he was a dick. Besides the obvious plot holes to me, the book was so good. I didn’t want to put it down. I’m so sad I have to wait for the next book!

How is this even better than book one? This series is shaping up to be such a rollercoaster and I am SO here for it. Firestorm did a great job setting up the world building and introducing us to the complex characters that make up Skye’s world. Overshadowed takes what you think you knew about the people in her life, gives you a hold my beer, and flips the table unapologetically and extremely successfully. I spent the majority of the book waffling about who to trust, suddenly confused and wondering if I had been pointing fingers too soon, then realized that, no, there were just secrets and lies everywhere and my foundation was shaken along with Skye’s. The plot is so good it’s almost criminal.

Now, the men. Aidan is ride or die for Skye all the way. Skye struggles a bit in this book with balancing his need for reassurance and how to integrate multiple relationships with her Links and Aidan is so good about finding ways for Rafe to be involved and keep Skye comfortable. Rafe stalks less but loves more in this book. Their relationship develops slowly but it feels very organic compared to the instalust we saw with Aidan. Wyatt is still on the outs-ish. He has a lot of personal issues and trauma that was only hinted at in book one but we take a much deeper look into his character and background in this book. He still has some groveling to do but I feel much better about his character now after his arc in this book.

Now, I’m not going to spoil but we meet someone new in this book and we have some interesting tidbits from a sensor and I am HERE for it. I think we’ll see some interesting dynamics and gain insider insight in book 3 about the Crusaders inner workings.

Now to begin book 3 watch!

Currently reading this one and I'm getting so tired of Aiden! Jesus, how much babysitting needs a 24 years hold dude?! Loved the first book but this one is annoying me because of this. Let's see how it ends...

Wow just wow.

DO NOT READ IF YOU DON’T WANT SPOILERS

OK, so this book pretty much picks up where book one left off. Skye left the academy after everything happened and teleported into her house with Aiden. She left the other two behind and her friends. One thing I will say about her as she does constantly run from her problems one day she’s not gonna be able to anymore and they’re gonna just have to be confronted right then in there.

Zephyrs and her relationship is still going strong in this book. I absolutely love the sibling bonding and how he’s always in her corner. I will say though in this book he did make me a little bit angry with the fact that he was harping so badly on Wyatt, especially when she had started to forgive him and it was hurt forgiveness that needed to be earned by Wyatt not her brothers.

We did learn more about the guys past in this book and we did meet some of their family members. Things definitely progressed in this book with relationships and it’s looking good for the four of them.

But some new revelations were brought out in this book and I’m not gonna ruin everything. This is just gonna be me talking about my theories.

So here goes. Landon when he died, they said he had marks on his head so they also said that he was influenced essentially by two different telepath is. We know one of them was Skye so obviously the second one was the Crusader. Now along this line of thought how Landon was being controlled from afar or possibly near by the Crusader after seeing her interactions with Levi and something the Crusaders says to her at the end of the book makes me believe that Levi has been being controlled by him all these years.

Originally, I just thought Levi was ahole and being so rude to her for no reason and she thought the same. But the last conversation she has with Levi he won’t look at her and he never actually really does look at her. He actually doesn’t even look at anybody else either for the most part so the fact that he can’t make eye contact with her and then a conversation that she had with the Crusaders later on and he mentioned that someone never let him see. He finished that with the first letters of someone’s name and it was Le. Which leads me to believe he was gonna say Levi but stopped.

My other theory is that while I believe he’s also controlling Levi I also think he’s controlling the crown princess. Especially when Alejandro/Alexander mentions that the Crusader stole his Key from him. Now I won’t explain to you how she meet the Crusader or any of the revelations that happened with that, but there’s one other thing that I want to mention.

He said to someone who I’m going to assume is going to be added to her relationship based off another snippet that we got in the book and based off what someone said to Wyatt and Rafe of their being a chain of five, he asked the person if she was Phantom who he’s been looking for since the massacre. He basically tells him no and then his lie detector person who he calls his polygraph lied for him and told the Crusader that he was telling the truth. The Crusader then turns around and says she should be able to because her mother could teleport.

Where I’m going with this is trauma does funny things to our brains sometimes during a traumatic experience you don’t remember all the detail details because of how bad it was. Now being as they were so young I believe she was 12 when it happened which makes no sense because Zeph was supposed to be 15 at the time, but they’re five years apart. But the incident happened 12 years ago and she’s 24 so make that part makes sense but anyways. They never actually speak about whether or not either one of them saw Ben and Iris dead. Skye only remembers seeing her mother‘s jacket pinned on one of those gate pointy edges since I don’t know what the name of it is. So that leads me to believe based off this next fact that I’m gonna say: they said that nobody was put together in the massacre that they just took the body parts and threw them into a mass grave right? So we know that Iris and Ben have headstones but do we actually know whether or not they’re buried in them? No. It’s never been said whether or not their parents were actually buried there. So mine now theory is based off this new information that Iris can teleport. What if she teleported herself and then out of there they both probably had to leave some type of body part behind obviously but what if they teleported out of there and they’ve been in hiding for the past 12 years. I feel like that would be a good twist. I’m not getting my hopes up and assuming that that’s what’s gonna happen. I’m just throwing that out there.

I absolutely did love this book though the character development is awesome. The world building is insane and I’m kind of actually mad that I have to wait till June for book 3 and then probably December for book 4 because she releases them each in a six month period after the first so that’s upsetting

A lot of things were dropped in this book, but it still leaves you questioning more. Like for example we learn more about Aiden‘s family and things are not as they seem. I also am starting to think that those aren’t his actual parents.

One more little fact, I’ll drop or two, maybe three is Rafe found out some truths about his family and the lineage of the crown. Wyatt found out some stuff about his dad that is not good at all. But then again, who cares about that man because he is a POS. And her fourth and final male was kidnapped during the massacre. There’s a lot more things that happen, but I’m not trying to spoil the entire book, but yeah.

Absolutely recommend the series if I can read it 1000 stars I honestly would it made me laugh so many times and I just absolutely loved it. I think it’s by far my favourite book this year so far.

June can’t come soon enough

confusing even if it was good but ends on a cliffhanger

I was really excited for the continuation of this story. I liked the characters and story from book 1 and was excited to see how this duet would end… from the beginning- they kept acting like the reason they were back on the island was because it was break and not that they had fled another terrorist attack … just repeatedly “home for break”, since when?! Then there was the weirdness with Wyatt and Willow’s dad. How is “go change, you look like your mother” a dog whistle for he’s a p€rvert??? Why was I supposed to draw that conclusion ??? But it did become cannon?? Why? Also, Lauren is bad off, but that was never eluded to before and yet no one seems all that surprised, what’s going on there?! This book is spice forward, which is fine but it’s mostly just Aiden and we have two more Links to bring into the fold and the timing is annoying. So of the story seems disconnected… “it had been awhile” … literally last chapter and a day has passed but ok. Was the story written out of order? Was it thrown together? It’s distracting.

The story continued to be really good in this book.

I will say, I picked this up originally because it said book 1 of 2, and this second book was going to be quickly released. Half way through, I realized we couldn’t possibly be wrapping it all up in this book. Then there was a couple of convoluted chapters and scenes that made no sense and at 95% I realized they really could not be solving this book by the end. I’m not even sure the ending made sense.

None of the older generation is in its proper chain. Nothing makes sense, and no one is calling it out. I know Wyatt and Skye were still in the dungeon or tunnel, but was Aiden??? Somehow she’s supposed to get two more Link (one is probably River) and then Zephyr’s Chain matters?! And he needs five too?? What was Avery gonna say about Levi?? Why did she suddenly stop talking about Crusader and started calling him Avery? How does any of this make sense?!

There’s a prophecy? Where is this phantom and scepter business even coming from?? Who is in on it?? Because why is the government and the terrorists all working out of the same building??? Now I have to wait for book 3 and there’s not even a mention of when that’ll be …

The story is good. The characters are good. The premise is good but this book made everything confusing. So do with that what you will.

I really enjoyed book one and couldn't wait for more secrets to unravel after the cliff hanger in Firestorm. The ripples from that ending carry over as Skye tries to reconcile what happened with Landon, the attack at the academy as well as figuring out the Crusader's plan. Skye is also dealing with Levi's return and I haven't quite worked him out yet.

I am so invested in the plot thread about links being potentially manipulated. There are little hints dropped more than once about the expectations of how chains are meant to function and how the ones we have seen don't seem to align, and I was really surprised no-one has quite joined the dots yet nor pounced on Levi's comment about Aiden's parents. The Lauren situation is also super fishy and Wyatt's dad gives me the absolute creeps. Big Handmaid's Tale vibes coming from that direction.

As much as I love Zephyr, I wasn't a fan of the hookup with Mia and Willow (I do love the addition of Dani though). Largely because Zephyr, who has previously been described as a bit of a playboy, getting together with his sister's only friends pretty much immediately just felt a little off. Had they been links or more of a slow burn I'd get it, but given Zephyr's relationship with Wyatt at that point too, it just felt a bit on the nose. The stubbornness over the leg break was also a step too far for me as I'd hoped they'd both turned a corner after fighting it out when even Skye was getting fed up of Zephyr's animosity on her behalf.

The star of the show is still Rafe for me though and I'm really enjoying his development. I'd hoped to see more of his and Wyatt's relationship with Skye in this book as Aiden has cemented his place whilst also being established in book one. I actually though at one point Aiden's death was going to be properly faked with him hiding away with Zephyr which is why he was so prevalent compared to the others if he was going to held apart from Skye for a while. I do like the dynamic between Aiden and Skye as well as all the relationships evolving at different speeds but with addition of another link on the horizon, I was ready to start seeing more depth in the other relationships too beyond Rafe waiting his turn and Wyatt's grovelling. With the complication of River, things are about to get a lot messier in book three!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

ARC Review
4.5 ⭐️

This book was even better than the first, I am so ready for the rest of this series.

We pick up where we left off from Fire Storm.
There was an attack on the academy and Skye protected herself Aiden, leaving Wyatt and Rafe behind to handle the fall out.
From there there are revelations, fights, battle of wills and understanding.
This book we got to learn more about this magical world we’re in and see other sides that weren’t explored before, other chain dynamics, cult history in the realm and the dark political side.

I really enjoyed this book, I enjoyed the tension between the chain and at times the easiness that came with it, and seeing bonds form.

Skye is so fierce and strong in her own right but each of her men have so much more to them then we originally saw.

We got to see so much more from Skyes family, how everyone interacts together. We got to learn more about her life, her family dynamics and more about her hesitations.

I loved watching Skyes relationships with the men develop as they actually spent time together and learned from each other, as well as worked together against outside forces. I really can’t wait to see how the chain develops as a whole.

Though we got more answers in this book, I am left wanting more and the cliffhanger is driving me crazy. I’m so thankful for this ARC but now I must wait!

There is so much I want to say and discuss but alas I will not give spoilers.

I will say we have some new characters introduced and I cannot wait to see what their roles will end up being. Until the next book..

C. Marie you have a freaking gift! Book 2 dives in where Book 1 left off and holy wow we just keep going. Book 2 might be even better than Book 1. I read straight through. It grabs your attention from the first page and DOES NOT STOP!

The world building is amazing. We learned more about Skye and her Chain - Aiden, Rafe, and Wyatt. There is growth when Skye decides she wants this budding found family to work. We get more background on all the characters as well as the crazy surrounding Skye's parentage and the Crusaders.

Everyone should have a big brother like Zephyr. He is so darn supportive. The love and protection these two siblings provide for each other is heart warming and the conditions that brought them so close heart breaking. Keep an eye out for Zephyr's birthday gift....this was a match up I was hoping would come to fruition.

There are horrors in the castle...there are also answers and new information to be shared. People...I think the harem is gonna grow and the next addition to the Chain is someone we meet in Book 2.

OOHH...there is also a QR code that will take you to some fantastic character art.

Honestly...just dive in. Plan for a few days of ignoring the world. You won't want to leave your e-reader or physical book.

I was gifted an ARC, but I also pre-ordered Book 2 immediately after happening across Book 1. I can't wait to have this be part of my library for future re-reads. Looking forward to where this series takes us.

Overshadowed is book 2 in The Divine Affinity series by C.Marie and this one's cliffhanger is definitely worse than the first one 😂💀

So much new information that I was wanting after book 1 came up in this one, but now Catherine has decided to give me more unanswered questions.

Overshadowed has upped the stakes. The Crusader is getting crazier in his attempts to find whoever he is searching for, causing more chaos and destruction to do it.

Skye is such a badass fmc and I loved the flashback scenes we get of her childhood. LOVED learning more about Zeph, he's one of my favourite slight side characters and learning more about his abilities after the little hints in book one was great.

Rafe is still my favourite. The slightly unhinged shadow daddy is going straight to the top of my book boyfriends. Wyatt is slowly redeeming himself in my eyes, and I'm curious about another storyline that has entered the chat. I'll keep my theories to myself so I don't spoil it 👀

Thank you again Catherine for my arc! I will be over here going slowly insane with all my theories until book 3 is released 😂

Overshadowed will be released December 13th so make sure you binge Firestorm before then to catch up!

Ahhhhhhhhhh omg omg omg. After finishing this I think I spent a solid hour staring at the wall. I've tried a million different ways to put into words how amazing and how much I loved this but I can't seem to be able to do it justice. So I'm going to apologize in advance for the rambling.
The additional world building is stunning and so easy to understand for a system that is actually quite complicated.
Skye I still love. She's an amazing badass.
Aiden is a little cinnamon roll that needs to be protected at all costs.
I'm doing a lot of squinting when it comes to River, like I know I'm going to love him but WTF dude.
I still want to punch Wyatt. I really really really wanted him to have his lightbulb moment but I'm still waiting.
I feel like we got less of Rafe this time around but the arc that's being set up for him I'm insanely excited for.
I'm also excited to see where things go in Zephyr's story.
Levi on the other hand, I'm pretty sure I know where things are going with him and it's going to be so so so messy.
The amount of unanswered questions that I have is outrageous. I need book three ASAP.
All in all, I cannot recommend this enough. Available now on KU.

This book was everything and more!
Kept me hooked from the first pages which is VERY rare for me and just got better and better every chapter.

In this book we undercover many plot holes left from the first book in a way that feels organic and both surprising but not far fetched- finally some smart, badass, intelligent MCs which you can really relate to.

There are also SO MANY new plot twists and developments which I can't wait to see how they end.

As usual I just love Zephyr and Skyes relationship and how important both of them come out to be in this new book, I am also rooting for Zephyr which is unusual for me as I mostly like to only focus on the MC, this book really makes you love every character in the story.

Overall very very very worth it and I can't WAIT to read the next one already!

Thank you so much for this ARC, this is developing to be one of my favorite series!

Loved!

I am absolutely in this. I didn't know there were more then 2 in this series. I prefer to have all books ready.

I loved to see all the characters grow and change. Its not the same problem in the book, over and over. I know I'm some, its like this has been out played.
You do kinda guess on something and are right. Like this person hooks up with that person. Toward the end, in the dungeons, 2 mmc are soaking to a very old lady, and she goes on the reveal the size of Shyes and her brothers chain. Watch for that because im very sure that this will be very important in the upcoming books.
Let's say, that ending....hmm. 2nd to last chapter has two people that are in danger. Last chapter, I figured out most of it. Though, the biggest part....the very last sentence! I didn't see it coming and makes me question a lot. It has me thinking to what i have learned in the book. I understand, this is why u can't wait for the next book.

Loved this so much. An absolutely top notch follow up to Firestorm, this builds on incredible foundations. Characters that were already super intriguing are fleshed out even further, the world gets more expansive, and the stakes are more clear. In this installment especially, I loved getting to see little foreshadowed hints become clear plot points, and it was so fun to feel like I was putting together the pieces right alongside our characters. We also get to see Skye holding her boundaries while she’s building relationships with the MMCs- while I adore the instalove trope that comes along with the fated lovers genre, getting to see a more realistic version, where they all have trauma and hang ups to work through to really pursue the relationship, and her staying firm that the relationship won’t happen without them working through it, but still being supportive, was just such a joy to read. Cannot wait for the next book to drop!

🌶️🌶️🌶️.5/5 spice (crazy good plot too!)

What a divine follow up!!!! The only reason I took as long to read this book (two days) was because of my adult responsibilities. If they did not require me then I would have finished this in a single breath! Such cool magic, amazing characters, interesting politics, and well written traumas with accurate representation of how those traumas continue to affect you long term. This book had way more spicy scenes vs book one with all the heavy pettings and make out sessions mixed in with some spice. This book definitely still had all that too though! Certainly an extremely fine line between good plot and all spice. I have so many questions now though… WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT!?!?! Devastated while also being equally understanding on having to wait for book 3!!

💜 Hot & miserable MMC

Gah!!! This book was so amazing! I’m not going to give any spoilers, because everyone deserves the shock factor that this book will no doubt bring you. I love the relationship progression between the characters. I also enjoyed the new characters that we meet in Overshadowed. Definitely several surprises in this book that I just know will be amazing when we get into the next book. I have sooo many questions. Overshadowed ends on a cliffhanger much like Fire Storm, but it isn’t too bad of a cliffy. I am so thankful I received an ARC for this book. I will definitely be doing a re-read while I wait for book 3!

💜ARC Review! 🖤

No shock at all, the second installment in the Divine Affinity series is incredible. I felt every emotion reading this book truly. I laughed, cried, swooned and of course there’s the perfect level of spice ❤️‍🔥 I loved the world and character building. The different POVs were given at the perfect moments for the incite we craveee. We all knew it would end in a cliff hanger and even knowing this I’m mad about it! But that’s what makes her writing so good! I’m 100% invested in where this story goes next. C. Marie always keeps you on your toes with her books. I’ve read over 250 books this year & have been getting pretty good about predicting where a book may go with its plot. This one kept me shocked in the best way!

10/10 absolute must read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This first books was cool.
The second was weirdly wonderful. I didn’t know where it was going, and there wasn't much action but it was still engaging. The heroes are not what I typically like. They're vulnerable, sometimes mean and yet I fell for them, just like Skye.

The only real problem i had was the relationship building with Rafe. There was none. I get Skye loves Aiden (I love him too!)...but she wanted a relationship with Rafe, so she should have worked on building a connection with him too. It read like Aiden was a priority while Rafe was the third wheel. It was even a joke in the book! Truly I felt more connected with Wyatt.

I wish the author hadn't fell into the trap of milking a series. But I'm still looking forward to the third installment

Mixed feelings..

I really liked the main characters, and the world building here.
But I was really disappointed in the way the author treated the secondary characters.
Spoilers..

Did we really need need to have the 2 lesbian in a happy committed relationship, and Skye's besties, screwing her brother Zephyr the first time they meet him, at there home?
Scum bag move by the brother, and it felt so unnatural, so disrespectful, and completely forced into the story..
And for no good reason. They aren't even Links!
I wish I could have just read about the main characters here!
Disappointed.

Book 2 Divine Affinity

Excellent! The second in this series continued the great story of book one. Well written and edited, the adventure keeps the reader enthralled and entertained. Lots of clues are dropped to help solve the mysteries . So it was briefly revealed that our heroine would have a chain of five? River maybe? Pretty sure River was the boy stolen during the Gulf Massacre, but that's just a guess. And the Princess can steal her link's affinity? So many little hidden clues. I love the interaction between all the characters and hope the next book comes out soon.

I absolutely loved this book, it was even better than the first. I loved seeing Skye’s relationship slowly change and grow! The different POV made it even better. I was genuinely shocked at a few points. I knew about the cliffhanger at the end, but I still was like wait… nooo that can’t be the end.

I would recommend this book to anyone. Easily the best book I’ve read this year.

I was lucky enough to be apart of the ARC team but I loved it so much I bought the paperback!!!

If the mating groups are done by testing of blood or something else people are going to meddle and mess with the results for their own gain. Her relationship with Wyatt does get better and her relationship with Rafe also progresses. We also have a potential new guy although nothing has happened between them besides some light flirting and him starting at her a lot. But she does rub her chest around him but his identity is super complex. Someone also says she’ll have a chain of five and Zephyr would have a chain of four. Some new ideas and theories are brought up and some are proven right such as Skye’s dad and what happened to cause the massacre.

This was a good one

I didn't know what to expect when I started book one. I just jumped straight in. Now I just finished book 2 and Wow. Rafe is my favorite!!!! He is crazy, Funny sense of hunor, loyal, just like I like them, deadly. I can't wait for book 3. There was so much action and mystery that I kind of knew where we are going. But I'm still a little confused about some parts. Such a great read!

The adventure continues.

Aiden now a fire and elevtric affiliate, and the prince Rafe, have connected to Skye. They continue to discover new things about her family and she finally puts jer father in his place. Skye is coming to terms with Wyatt and forigiving him because she realizes she still want to have a relationship wih him even though he is a certifiable asshole. I cannot wsit for the next book.

This book blew my mind. I was cheering the entire time, like finally! Skye is getting her men and Wyatt is trying his best and I love how the entire chain is growing and trusting each other.
Every discovery was blowing my mind. Skye and her chain need to prepare themselves for the future.
I may have screamed silently with that cliffhanger! Like noooo! I need the third book now!
