Her Client, His Match

Rate this book
This is not a whirlwind romance.
It’s a slow burn between two people who have everything to lose.

Noelle Collins has built her life on control.
As Houston’s most sought-after matchmaker, she’s mastered the art of managing desire—from a distance. Her reputation is flawless. Her emotions are not up for negotiation.

Ezra Sinclair has lived inside expectation his entire life.
The heir to one of Houston’s most powerful families, his future has been planned, measured, and scrutinized long before he ever had a say. Love has never been part of the equation—until Noelle.

What begins as a professional arrangement becomes something far more
a connection neither of them is prepared to explain, defend, or walk away from.

As their worlds collide—legacy versus independence, image versus truth—Noelle and Ezra are forced to confront what happens when desire doesn’t fade quietly… and the right match isn’t the one the world approves of.

Her Client, His Match is a sophisticated contemporary Black romance about power, emotional restraint, and choosing love with intention—perfect for readers who love slow-burn chemistry, mature characters, and relationships built on more than attraction.

Started this yesterday and stayed up to finish it tonight. You are telling me this is your first book!? Wild. You write like you have been in the game for years with multiple books in your catalog.

I am not a fan of match maker books but this was so good. I also liked the multiple point of views. Some authors can’t do those well and I always feel like it doesn’t add to the story but the different pov’s here definitely move the story along.

Loved how powerful of a woman Noelle is but also how Ezra recognized she needed someone to lean on and he wanted to be that person for her.

Very interested in her brothers and Vivienne’s story. This left off kinda on a cliff hanger so I’m interested to see if there’s a sequel!

This book encompassed way more than I anticipated and that is a very good thing. I assumed it would be the usual romance but boy did the plot thicken. The main characters had instant chemistry and I love how each of their families had POV’s in the book as well. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for these characters since it seems like there’s definitely more to the story for both the main and supporting characters.

Now that cliffhanger

See that cliffhanger got me wondering what else is about to go down. Definitely love this story of opposites attract because Ezra's life was world's away from Noelle. Glad they didnt allow outside influences stop them from really giving a relationship a chance. Overall great read.

Easy read

I enjoyed this book. Despite he page count, a quick read. There is a lot of description provided to give you a visual of the people and the setting the author wants you to experience. I wasn’t thrilled with ending but it sets things up for book 2.
