Heya, friend. Rusty here, coolin' my heels in the frostiest snowstorm in the stars. See, our latest job is on an ice moon where the forecast is 24/7 blizzard, with a hundred-percent chance of "Heck no, you ain't flying in this." With Nessie stuck on the tarmac, Mike and I are bustin' out an old-school our classic big-rig from Earth. Let me tell ya, ain't nothin' can plow through a frozen alien tundra like nine tons of American steel.
We're headed for a mine way out in the boonies, where they're diggin' up crystals prettier than Piper's smile and bigger than Jenna's appetite. But there's a whole lot of adventure in that whiteout between us and our cargo. I'm talkin' 'bout busting through snow drifts the size of a barn, exploring ice canyons pretty as cathedrals, and making pit stops in rustic lodges warm as your mama's hugs.
So grab your thermos and hold onto your hat. We're about to turn the galaxy's grandest snow day into the joyride of a lifetime.
No Stress Space Express is a series about finding your true family, told with the common-sense wisdom of Jerry Boyd's Bob and Nikki series (Bob's Saucer Repair), and the low-stakes world building of Travis Baldree's Legends & Lattes. Join Rusty and his crew for a heart-warming, laugh-out-loud adventure with no tension, and no drama. Just good clean fun, great friendships, and a little romance too.
Jack Bodett lives at the corner of duct tape and destiny. His humorous science-fiction tales are populated by folks who are equally good at building spaceships and building friendships. He believes that with a good sense of humor, a willingness to help others, and a well-stocked tool belt, anyone can bang together their own happy ending.
I think I am living in waiting rooms to much. Yet another waiting room and a long one at that. I had Ice Moon Truckers to get me through the waiting ordeal. This book withstood the test and made the wait a lot easier. It was fun being there in the warmth as our friends got cold dealing with winter hazards. Been there done that, so I prefer reading about someone else's experiences instead of a do over of what I have experienced in the past. Fun series!
The team takes a contract to make a delivery and pickup with a tight time constraint. The destination is on a world that requires them to drive the truck in winter conditions. Things go wrong but nothing that can’t be fixed with a little duct tape and ingenuity. A great story.
Great series fun new worlds and no skipped details like how they afford things or that basic life form functions need to happen like eating and packing. Funny and can’t wait for more
