Kate Atkinson was born in York and now lives in Edinburgh. Her first novel, Behind the Scenes at the Museum, won the Whitbread Book of the Year Award and she has been a critically acclaimed international bestselling author ever since.

Sinceramente, me da una rabia tremenda porque esta lectura lo tenía todo para fliparme, pero me ha acabado aburriendo lo más grande. El caso del robo del Turner me tenía superenganchado al principio, pero la ejecución me ha sacado totalmente de la historia: te cambian de narrador en cada capítulo y te pierdes, y encima meten unas descripciones eternas que no aportan nada y te hacen perder el hilo por completo. Me he sentido muy perdido leyendo mil tramas secundarias que no venían a cuento cuando yo lo único que quería era avanzar en el misterio. Una pena, porque la premisa de Jackson Brodie prometía mucho, pero al final tanto relleno se carga el ritmo.
