I just did not connect with Ethan at all. Both characters needed counseling.

I loved this inspirational romantic suspense with Abbie and Ethan being the main characters. The characters are wonderful and the action is nonstop. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy the great outdoors in a Maine wilderness and the suspense of criminals doing their best to kill Abbie because she has the evidence to bring down a corrupt family. Ethan, a game warden and former NYPD detective is her protector and has saved her life more than once. This turns into an amazing romance with a HEA ending. I received this book through an author giveaway and I had to read it right away and it was hard to put down. I plan on reading more books by this author. This is my voluntary and honest review.

I absolutely love the Love Inspired Suspense books! They're so easy to find both online and in stores, and every new release feels like it's calling my name, waiting to be read.
Deadly Wilderness Showdown was a thrilling, fast-paced read that kept me hooked from beginning to end. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Ethan and Abbie. At first, they keep their relationship strictly professional, but as the danger escalates and they're forced to rely on one another, their walls slowly come down and their feelings begin to grow. Their developing romance felt natural and fit perfectly alongside the nonstop suspense.
If you enjoy clean romantic suspense filled with action, danger, faith, and heartfelt romance, I highly recommend adding this one to your TBR! 💚📖💚📖

Game warden Ethan Knight is contacted asked to go by Abbie's place and warn her that the Romalo family is out to kill her again. When he gets to her place they end up on the run. Can they survive and stay ahead of the killers? What are they after her for and why? Can they figure it out before it is too late?

Ethan Knight, now a game warden, saved Abbie once and now must save her again. Through a series of wicked scary twists and turns, I was holding my breath at times for these two to stop the crime family and find their happily-ever-after. You will be too!

Abbie is a sympathetic heroine whose physical scars are a constant reminder of the serial killer attack she survived, while Ethan remains haunted by the past. Their emotional struggles deepen the suspense as a ruthless crime family targets Abbie. Readers who appreciate protective heroes, resilient heroines, and suspense with plenty of emotional heart will enjoy this story. Highly recommended.
