For nearly 40 years, an impenetrable dome - mysterious in both nature and origin - has separated the Pacific Northwest from the rest of the world. Now, for the first time since Site 113’s appearance, Earth’s leading corporate government (ICoRP) has found a way inside.

Malcolm “Cole” Bennett never wanted to be a commander and finds himself drowning when the maiden voyage into the illusive dome proves to be a grander endeavor than he can handle. Armed with an engineer, a meteorologist, a medicinal botanist, a tactical expert, and his sister, Cole must do everything he can to keep everyone from killing each other; all while dealing with the impossibles the strange land has to offer. A cannibalistic virus, theology-driven supergods, and a brewing war are just a few of the obstacles he must overcome to meet a future-driven society - all for a mission whose purpose is intentionally kept a secret.

To make matters worse, Cole obtains a lethal device called the a watch bent on destroying anything in its way. This puts him at odds with his charming new employer, Juniper Volkov, whose only concern is protecting the well-being of her home colony Eden; even if that means dragging Cole and his team through Hell and back.

Determined to see his assignment through, Cole is forced to ask himself deeper questions about entropy, paradise, and self-sacrifice - as he not only tries to stop the destruction of this new world, but his own internal degradation as well.
