Malcolm “Cole” Bennett never wanted to be a commander and finds himself drowning when the maiden voyage into the illusive dome proves to be a grander endeavor than he can handle. Determined to see his assignment through, Cole is forced to ask himself deeper questions about entropy, paradise, and self-sacrifice - as he not only tries to stop the destruction of this new world, but his own internal degradation as well.
