Harper Stone never pictured running her grandmother's lakeside bookstore in Amethyst Bay alone. After a sudden retirement leaves her in charge, she's left with no other option.
A hidden bucket list in her grandmother's desk urges Harper to try at least one kayaking across the bay in December, despite a lack of experience and the subzero temperatures.
Enter Noah Anderson, a lifelong local who prefers storms, solitude, and silence.
When Harper's outing nearly ends in disaster, their clumsy meeting sparks unexpected tension, and perhaps something more.
I really enjoyed this book. The love story of Harper and Noah was very sweet. The way they met, the way they tried to avoid the inevitable was wonderful. The slow burn was agonizing…lol but it a good way! There is a little spice in the book, those scenes were written well. The ending was a little rushed but I would still give this book 4 stars easily! And the sneak peak at book 2 was a tease and need it now! I would recommend this book to my friends.
The perfect small town romance! It brought me so much joy reading this book, with characters that I love, especially Noah, how couldn’t you? I honestly can say this book didn’t miss the plot, so well thought. I could see some things coming but I was so excited to see where all this would go. I definitely want more stories like this and I can’t wait for book 2. Read this book, it’s worth it! ❤️🥰
I just finished reading “Meet Me in Amethyst Bay” by Raine Winters, and I’m thrilled to share my thoughts! Having lived on the shores of Lake Superior, this story truly resonated with me. Superior is a special place, and this book brought back so many wonderful memories. Who wouldn’t want to own a bookstore and fall in love with someone like Noah? Amethyst Bay delivers a perfect romance that made me laugh, sigh, and even shed a tear. Highly recommend! 💖🌊 #BookReview #AmethystBay #RaineWinters #LakeSuperiorRomance
This was a cute book! I found this at my local romance bookstore and decided to give it a chance. I'm glad I did. This was an adorable grumpy/sunshine romance and who doesn't love moving to a small town and owning their own bookstore?! It's every girl's dream. I did find it to be a bit repetitive at times but that didn't detract too much from the story.
