Primary(1-3) Fiction Contemporary Realistic
I like how this chapter book created a fun mystery adventure and how the main character Jack and the ghost Victor Dare compared themself's to Sherlock Holmes (as being great detectives). This story took place in the old Dareville's Community Theater. Jack's father had accepted a new position there as a care taker and he and Jack moved into the apartment inside of the old theater. On the first day Jack saw the ghost Victor Dare, whom wanted Jack to solve his disappearance. People in the community called this theater hunted, and told Jack that other have loss their lives there, due to the dark forces. At the end of the story Jack solved the mystery of Victor Dare disappearance.
