Volume 2 was somehow even better than the first! We learn more about the Claymores and their past through the flashbacks, and we finally get a glimpse at how the transformation works. There are still so many unanswered questions, though, and I’m very curious to see where the story goes from here.
And the Awakened Beings? The designs are absolutely wild. 😭 Especially the one in Gonahl! The H. R. Giger vibes, body horror, and grotesque transformations are exactly my thing.
Add 784 pages, gorgeous covers and spines, plenty of horror, lore and drama, and I’m completely sold on this series. Can’t wait for Volume 3!
