This book was good, but heartbreaking at the same time. I love to read any fiction stories. Although, I knocked a star off for this one because I feel it could have been written better than it was. Still worth the read. It’s about a foster parent that discovers the child she has taken in was severely abused. She tried her best to help the child get through the traumas it left her with.

Had to Know More...
I downloaded this free sampler thinking I would get an idea of what Cathy Glass had experienced with a new foster child, Jodie... Well, four chapters wasn't enough once I got to know Jodie and the beginnings of the horrors she experienced. I immediately bought the entire book and Jodie's story drew me in and broke my heart.
