Age Gap · Curvy Girl · Small Town · Grumpy Sunshine · Ex-Military
She came to Pike Creek to save lives. He’ll end anyone who threatens hers.
Twenty-four-year-old nurse Tiffany Glover thought small-town Montana meant a fresh start—until dangerous men pressure her to steal meds and the stalking begins.
Blade Beckett—forty, scarred, ex-military, and the Pike Creek Riders’ most lethal protector—is called to keep her safe. He expects routine. He doesn’t expect the curvy brunette to slip past every wall he’s built since Afghanistan—or how fiercely he wants to claim her.
Tiffany should fear the outlaw with blood on his hands. Instead, she feels safer in his arms than anywhere. Blade’s sure he’s too old, too violent, too broken for someone so soft and sweet.
As the pressure mounts and enemies close in, Blade will do whatever it takes to keep Tiffany breathing—and his.
A steamy age-gap MC romance with a possessive protector and a curvy heroine who won’t back down. Can be read as a standalone as part of the series. HEA guaranteed, 3,5+ 🌶️
Pike Creek Riders MC is a series I’m reviewing as a whole rather than book by book.
These are short, fast-paced novellas that are clearly meant to be read quickly and without overthinking — and in that sense, they do exactly what they’re supposed to do. They’re perfect palate cleansers between heavier, more emotionally demanding reads.
Each installment offers different tropes and pairings, which keeps the series from feeling completely repetitive. The pacing is very fast, but that’s expected with this format, and it works for what these stories are meant to be: quick, accessible MC romances you can pick up and finish in one sitting.
This isn’t a series that aims for deep emotional development or complex plots, and I don’t think it’s trying to be. Instead, it delivers straightforward romance, familiar MC elements, and easy entertainment without the need for full emotional investment.
Overall, Pike Creek Riders MC is ideal if you’re looking for short, uncomplicated reads with MC vibes and a variety of tropes — something light, quick, and low-commitment.
Not standout or deeply memorable, but enjoyable for what it is and perfect when you want a fast, no-stress MC romance.
The editorial issues really let this book down. The plot and story line were ok just the execution was poor and there were things an editor should have spoken to the author about.
Again, as in previous books, the author fails to take us on the journey with her. There are scenes where you’re wondering, ‘where did that person disappear to?’ (the scene when Phoenix turns up with the photos - is he still standing there listening to them having that really personal conversation? Did he get the door slammed in his face?), there are scenes where you don’t know how the character got from point A to point B because we’re never told.
A whole section is duplicated text. And there are some really cringe worthy conversations in here.
I was honestly surprisingly disappointed with this one. There were a lot of mistakes throughout the book like full paragraphs being repeated, almost same exact scenes being repeated just with some different words, and super repetitive. It all felt really rushed as well.
Loved!!! Blade is older…set in his ways. He knows he is dangerous..knows he should stay away from Tiffany but he can’t. Tiffany is a nurse that just wants to help people…but she has some bad people after her…but she is counting on Blade…in more ways than one. This is a jam packed quick read that I really enjoyed.
New nurse being threatened but he plans to end the threat. Awesome alpha protectors doing what’s needed to protect their women. Brotherhood, loyalty and romance with danger and a happy ending.
Love this book and it's series and would recommend it to anyone who loves to read about MC life and their families and friends 🧡 and Sable Creed is an amazing writer ❤️
Another great protection story about finding love and culprits. I loved all the action and the characters as well as all the descriptions of everything giving you a sense of being there.
I love MC books that know how to explain the substory without being too explanatory but true to the characters and true to the effects of war and mental issues...Sable does just that!!!
It’s hard to give a story like this more than 3 stars. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good story just too short to rank otherwise. Story was good. However, it was not believable compared to other “age gap” stories I’ve read. honestly the way he pushed her away was annoying.
