Loved being back in the Oakwood Lane series. Kyra Lennon writes the characters so well, I felt like I was there with them. This story had me experiencing all the emotions, happy tears & sad tears. I’m looking forward to book five. Another easy 5 stars.

The fourth book in a series—focusing on characters who until now have been supporting cast—is never an easy thing. There are so many ways a book like this could disappoint readers.
But not when the author is Kyra Lennon!
I’ve been looking forward to Nova and Donovan’s story since their novella “Re-Writing Christmas” and this did not disappoint.
As always, Kyra goes all in with the emotions, and there isn’t a slow moment in this story, as Nova and Donovan go from one heartache to the next.
What I especially love about their story is that both Nova and Donovan have distinct voices, and their POV chapters are different from each other, so you end up feeling both sides of the situation they’re in. Neither is entirely right or wrong.
Additionally, the intimate scenes are full of heat, and exactly what you’d expect in this type of story—focusing on the emotions that accompany the physical act, and not just the sex itself.
The heartache and drama are nicely balanced with humour, especially with the introduction of a new western-themed bar that has lots of fun cocktail names.
As I’ve come to expect from the Oakwood Lane Series, the supporting cast and the bonds these characters have made with each other really shine. It’s great to see new dynamics being introduced, while background characters come to the fore.
Once again, another 5-star read from Kyra Lennon, and now I am eagerly awaiting the final book in the Oakwood Lane series.

I loved Nova and Donovan in Rewriting Christmas, and continuing their story here was like revisiting old friends.
Back to You is full of emotions, love, and friendship, and I just wanted to wrap Nova into a big hug at one point. She really shines through how she manages everything getting thrown at her and the upheaval in her life.
Donovan made me want to shake him at times, but at the same time, I could empathise with his knee-jerk reaction in how he dealt with things.
