A Small Town Silver Fox RomanceI swore I'd never fall for my best friend's dad, the man who humiliated me.
I came back to Cedar Ridge to drag this backwards town into the digital age, not to face Jack Monroe again. The man who humiliated me now stands six-foot-three of pure alpha energy, making my expertise feel like child's play.
When the town forces us to work together, I'm trapped in his ranch office every day. Close enough to smell his cologne and feel the heat radiating off his chest.
When he pins me against his desk to reach a file, I call it an accident. When his hands cover mine during late night troubleshooting, I finally admit I'm done fighting this.
But falling for Jack means betraying Lila—my childhood confidant, my sister in every way that matters.
And if she finds out, I'll lose the only family I've ever known
It was more like a short story than a book. Parts seemed to be missing and hard to follow at times. For me it was not great. Probably won’t be reading anything else by this author.
