Big thank you to Amber Fawn for letting me read!
It's safe to say that Amber Fawn has become one of my favourite authors to read. This book was beautifully written, from the way the characters think and talk to how settings are described; everything was elegant and beautiful.
I loved the characters and their different complexities. Deana was such a good FMC, and her journey for revenge was perfect. She is so strong, and i really enjoyed when she started to open up more and more. I also now have another book boyfriend to obsess over: Flynn. The way I am completely obsessed with this man is unhealthy. He is just so sweet and adorable. I loved watching him struggle with his version of his father and his internal conflicts. Deana and Flynn were such a good main couple!!!!

Wow what an another amazing ARC read🥰 Amber is truly a writer who turns pages into magic. Her characters feel real, flawed, lovable, and unforgettable. They’re so well written that you genuinely feel for them. For a second, it’s easy to believe they’re real people.
Another two characters that will forever be in my heart that are written by Amber😢🥹
The plot was perfect❤️🔥 Amber has an art with writing that keeps you wanting to read the next page!! The journey she takes us on as readers twists and turns in a magically way. ✨

Princess Captive took me by surprise in the best way. It’s dark, emotional, and full of heart — a fairytale retelling that feels raw and real. From the first chapter, I knew I was in for something special. Deana and Flynn’s story pulled me in completely; their connection felt so genuine and earned. Deana is one of the strongest, most layered heroines I’ve read in a while, and Flynn — equal parts morally grey and sweet — balances her perfectly.
What I loved most was the emotional depth. Both characters carry scars, and watching them slowly heal through each other was beautiful and heartbreaking at once. The writing is stunning, with just the right pacing and intensity. I found myself highlighting so many lines just because they felt so deeply.
The ending left me smiling and teary — bittersweet, but perfect. Amber Fawn knows exactly how to make you feel everything at once. Highly recommend checking trigger warnings, then diving in.

Just the dedication alone has had me very emotional and somewhat, feeling heard? 🥹🫶🏻
The first few chapters alone have had me crying and emotional alone. Never mind the rest of the book 😭

Flynn and Deana, you didn't deserve most of what you got 💔 I will rip everyone to shreds to protect both my babies 😭
