All Yvonne ever wanted was to get revenge, and ruin those who killed her coven.
For a while, she succeeded.
She put a curse on one of the oldest vampires, forcing him into a deep slumber that has lasted for over two hundred years, replaying his biggest trauma over, and over again.
One day, he awoke.
Lucifer D'Achille, one of the Sacred Seven; a man with nothing left to lose, is now out there, ready to to return the favor.
But as twisted fate would have it, Yvonne's curse connected their very beings. Two enemies bound by one little mistake, that was going to cost them everything.
And both of them could only pray that they could find a solution, before they reached the point of no return.
After all, the only thing they both wanted was revenge.
Neither beings willing to stop, until they're completely successful.
I have a love-hate relationships with novellas. I like that they are quick reads, but I always feel like I am missing that deeper connection and development of the characters. Both Lucifer and Yvonne are in the first book, so they are established characters already. They are true immortal enemies. They have held grudges against each other for hundreds of years, but Lucifer may not have been totally awake for a large portion of that. I felt like they progressed so quickly, that I didn't get to see much of Lucifer's healing. I am curious to see how his family copes with their relationship in the following novellas.
This book was really short, it took me around 40 minutes to read. With that being said, I just wish it had a little more substance.
The story itself had a lot of potential, and I really liked the premise: a witch and a vampire in an enemies-to-lovers romance. I just wish there had been more angst and build-up so we could actually see them in that enemies stage before the attraction slowly developed. That’s why it fell short for me. One minute he wants to kill her, and the next they’re sleeping together. The transition happened so quickly that it gave me a bit of whiplash, and I never really had time to become invested in their relationship because there wasn’t anything to connect to.
Overall, I did enjoy it, but I just wish there had been a little more to it.
Okay Kat… YES. 👏🏻 Because this book was SO much fun!
I went into this one for the vampires and witches and stayed because Yvonne and Lucifer had me completely hooked. Their relationship is basically a disaster waiting to happen — there’s a curse, revenge, old wounds, plenty of hatred, and two very stubborn people who would probably rather kill each other than admit they’re attracted to one another. 😂🩸
Except the curse has other plans. 👀
Their bond gets stronger with every touch, every moment of closeness, and suddenly killing each other isn’t exactly the easiest option anymore. The tension between them was EVERYTHING. The hatred, the bickering, the chemistry slowly turning into something neither of them wanted to acknowledge… I ate it all up. 😭🔥
Yvonne is determined to get her revenge, while Lucifer has his own reasons for keeping his distance, and watching all their plans slowly get tangled together made this such an addictive read. I especially loved seeing their relationship shift from pure hostility into something much more complicated.
And can we talk about this world?! 🧙🏻♀️🧛🏻♂️ I’m genuinely obsessed. There’s so much going on with the Sacred Seven family, and I loved getting more of Yvonne and Lucifer’s lives along with all the little details that make this world so much fun to be in.
I actually haven’t read the first book yet, but I never felt completely lost while reading this one. That said… yeah, I’m definitely going back for it now. 😂📚
This was such a quick and easy read for me — I flew through it and honestly wished it had been a little longer because I wasn’t ready to leave these two behind yet. 🥹
If you’re looking for witches, vampires, enemies-to-lovers, revenge, curses, insane chemistry, and a whole lot of tension, please pick this one up. 🖤🔥
Kat, you’ve got me invested now. I need book three. 👀
And honestly… I need ALL of this family. Give me everything. 😭🖤
this was so good! I have been waiting months to get back into this world and this author never disappoints. I’m actually so obsessed with these two and I can’t wait to see what comes next for them. I love this fantasy world so much and I’m fully invested in devouring the rest of the books when they come. I binged this in less than twelve hours and I honestly can’t wait to read what comes next from you! thank you so much for this arc I loved this book!
Azure Mania is book two in the Sacred Seven series by Kat and it was soo good! Who doesn't love vampires and witches?! Our FMC and MMC become entangled from a curse gone awry, with the only options being they must become mates or kill each other. Thankfully their bond intensifies with every touch, every caress so killing isn't an option 😜
Cannot wait for book three! Spice:🌶️🌶️🌶️

I love the story, seeing Yvonne & Lucifer have so much tension, hatred, and eventual love with each other while navigate their unique relationship with Yvonne and his start of relationship to was more hostile but hilarious i laughed quite a bit. I wish the book was longer it wrapped up well, I also like the details in Yvonne life also Lucifer too.
Loved the revenge but forced mates tropes. Spice was good. Lucifer and Yvonne had great chemistry from the jump I appreciated she was a strong and cunning woman in her own right and they clashed just right. HEA ending
Oh I’m hooked on this now! Love the storyline, the characters are very entertaining and I want more. Please check this out, this author is certainly one of my go to writers for great addicting reads.
I just wish this was longer!! It would have been great to have some more build up between Lucifer and Yvonne and explore the hating yet irresistible pull and also Lucifer learning the world a bit more after he had been asleep for so long.
Yes Kat Yes Thats how its done I am obsessed with this world I did not read the first book but luckily they dont follow too closely but that doesnt mean I wont go back to read it too
This is enemies to lovers, this is pasts colliding There is a curse, a plan for revenge and the pure disdain they have for each other but the complicated twist in their plans made for a delicious story
Oh. My. Word. This was good and it was such a fast read If you like vampires and witches, enemies to lovers trust me when I say you have to pick this one up
