First of all please go read the first two books in this series…
A Dragon Inside and A Dragon Outside.
This is an incredible series and you do not want to miss anything.
I loved all of the excitement, adventure and characters in the first two books but this was starting something new but leveled up.
I didn’t think it could get much more exciting than the first two books but I was wrong.
This is definitely another one you cannot put down.
Especially the second half, it’s a stay up all night, must finish read!
Lilith and Kadir you cannot help but fall in love with and root for them.
I loved how their relationship unfolded.
I also really appreciated how thoughtful the author was about both of their pasts and how that truly looks in a real relationship.
There were so many unforgettable scenes, beautiful moments and memorable quotes definitely one I will be recommending and re-reading.
This is an adult series so read the trigger warnings but also know there’s no language and kissing only.

This was such a heart-warming story. I really felt for Lily and Kadir as they dealt with their inner turmoils. I loved how their relationship grew and that they became each other's strength. Seeing how they calmed each other was so sweet and endearing. I enjoyed watching Lily come out of her shell and become more open with Kadir and his crew. I really got a kick out of Kadir's crew and the banter that they had with each other. While this is a slow burn, no-spice romance, there were plenty of swoony, heartfelt moments. Also, the stakes were high and I was on the edge of my seat most of the time. The world-building was wonderful and I was immersed in the story. I do suggest reading the completed Duology before diving into this installment, as the characters and stories intertwine. I highly recommend this to any fantasy reader!

✨ARC review✨ I have been absolutely loving this series! For me, this series perfectly encapsulates what a romantasy should be. The stakes are high, and I wouldn’t necessarily call the stories “happy”, but the stories are so gripping that I don’t want to put the book down! The romance is definitely necessary for the plot but the fantasy elements do so much more for the story than just provide a backdrop for the love story. I loved watching Lily and Kadir grow during this story, I loved that their motivations were born from a love of their families and people, and I’m really enjoying learning more about the kingdoms and dragons! I would definitely recommend reading this series in order because it follows a continuous storyline, Anabelle Raven is absolutely crushing it with this series and I highly recommend it!

This author never disappoints! This book is so great! It's a dual POV, no spice fantasy. I love how real these characters are. The FMC has major anxiety and the MMC has a past that holds him back from loving and trusting others. The struggles they both go through are really tough but both show their bravery. I definitely recommend this book.
This is book three in the series and I would recommend reading the other two first. It could be read by itself and be enjoyed but it would be enjoyed better as part of the series.

Everything about this book has blown me away. There's so much depth and emotion into the entirety of the story.

I am absolutely loving the pirate books, even though it’s like he’s a pirate, but he’s not really a pirate sort of thing but it’s still fun and wow that there are lots of twists and turns. I enjoyed every single moment and I went through all of the emotions with all the characters and just perfection from beginning to end.
