THE NEXT GENERATION IS HERE… Nineteen-year-old Jason King Jr. struggles to make sense of the modern world. Then comes troubling news.

With his parents’ blessing, he goes forth into the world on his own odyssey, determined to make the most of his life while he’s physically able. He doesn’t know if he’ll live up to King’s legacy. All he knows is that he has the capacity and the will to put wrongs right.
So that’s just what he’ll do until the wheels fall off.
First stop on his a meeting with an old family friend, Tyrell Slater, who might know a thing or two about hunting evil…

I loved this. I've missed the King & Slater books and the Sons is an awesome restart. The conversation between the two sons at the end brought actual tears to my eyes. I could just see their dads watching over them as proud papas. Yes I know this is fiction, but once I read the first King book I was locked in. I read everyone as they came out. No one has done better then the King & Slater books. No one. Thank you for this and I can't wait for the next one.
I've read every King, Slater, and King and Slater book. Been waiting for the next generation. I found this book very entertaining and worth the read. Great to see Junior and Tyrell come into their own. The intensity, brutality, and realism makes this book (hopefully series) makes a great read. Looking forward to more books!
The sons takes off where the story of Jason King and Will Slater took a pause. Matt Rogers brings the same formula of breakneck physical action combined with relentless pace and high stakes into the mix.
If you've liked any of his previous books, you're gonna love this one. This is a raw and new book and it's going to be a joy to see where this story goes.
I've missed the king and slater novels, now that the new series The Sons is out, with one heck of a bang I might add, plus a mighty time jump it all feels right. Storyline was great with all the action you'd expect. Can't wait for the next book!
I was really disappointed when the King and Slater series ended, especially when Slater died. This first book in "The Sons" series jumps right back in. I don't think the new series will replace my favorite one of all time, but I'm hoping it's close.
Just another masterpiece of action from Matt! Especially if you’ve read the king and slater series this new series hits you even harder. Higher highs and lots of feels. One hundred percent a must read! So stop reading this review and start the book already.
Thanks Matt for continuing the King and Slater legacy. I have read them all and definitely my favorite. Your a good writer and based on the moral compass for the King and Slater characters in these books, a good and caring person.
It’s great to see Matt continue with the King and Slater series. They were some of my favorite characters. It looks like the sons will carry on handing out justice like their parents did years prior. Looking forward to many more adventures.
