The Brook

Excellent book
Excellent book, Jack. A topic that needs to be discussed. Having grown up in this small town that Jack writes of, I have personally witnessed the devastation caused by industrial contamination. Friends and family gone to soon, or suffering with life altering and/or terminal illnesses all caused by corporate greed. Thank you, Jack, for telling this story. A must read, in my opinion.

A book I couldn't put down
Very compelling story that certainly is true to life. No one wants to believe that corporations could be that greedy and irresponsible but this book shows that it is very likely that this kind of evil exists.

As a resident of "Compton's Pond", I of course had to read this book. Excellent account of what has gone on here for so many years, and continues as we speak! & this is only one large corporation in one small town.....must read no matter where you live.
