Such a cute story
This story was definitely a perfect example a grumpy/sunshine trope. And I am a huge fan of grumpy/sunshine tropes.
Caspian is the grumpiest of grumps in the local MC who is tasked with protecting Thunder Ridge. And driving by the local bakery every day seems to put him on edges
Because Seraphina is pure sunshine. Bright & vibrant with plenty of inspirational quotes. And when she sees him across the street one morning, she finds herself determined to prove he isn’t a complete grump.
And that quickly turns into these two spending more time around one another with the festival around the corner. And he is tasked with making sure another MC won’t mess up the festival.
And these two just fall more each other. And their romance is quick and sweet as a cupcake.
This was a very sweet story that had me smiling at the two of them.

I have to say I was excited to read a romantic fluff about a grumpy motorcyclist and a Sunshine cupcake maker. The premise of the story was good. I think where I struggled is a lot of the same repetitiveness. So many times we’re reminded of his grumpiness and her sunshine personality and his not feeling worthy. It was good in the beginning of the story but the last 5 chapters it was revisited over and over that I ended up scrolling past.
I do like how he get a 3 months later than I think 6 months than about 1 year. I know there is more to the series so I’m assuming it gets you ready for the next couple. I do hope the writing gets better, not as repetitive and do we ever learn Caspian history because I thought he mentioned a sister but never mentions again.
