This time, the story follows Lily Roth an ambitious investigative reporter whose determination to uncover the truth quickly puts her in the crosshairs of forces far darker and more dangerous than she ever anticipated.

Lily is a compelling new POV character: curious, driven, and brave to a fault. Her instincts push her deeper into the mystery, and readers get to experience the rising tension and dread through her eyes. The small town secrecy, the unsettling clues, and the sense that something monstrous lurks just outside the edges of normal life all come together to create a suspenseful, claustrophobic atmosphere.

Thyer excels at blending horror with mystery, and this novelette delivers both quickly and intensely. Fan favorite characters return, new threats emerge, and the werewolf lore that made Silver so compelling becomes even richer.
