Twenty years ago, an angel came into my life like a tornado and turned my world upside down in the best of ways. We barely knew each other’s last names but I knew I wanted to give her mine. So… I did what any sensible man would do. I married her.
But I have demons. Demons I worked for years to vanquish and all it took was one stupid mistake to give those demons the window they needed to ruin everything, forcing me to make the hardest decision of my life.
Now, I own half of Gravity, Chicago’s premiere and exclusive kink club. In an effort to create a new space for our members to explore their more primal urges we began the process of purchasing land behind the club, only to find out I'm still married.
When my wife resurfaces after all this time, I can’t stop myself from reeling and drowning my sorrows in cheap booze… and maybe the most adorable little pixie of a woman I’ve ever seen.
Even though I'm not her type and she's not mine, we use each other to escape our own misery. The last thing either of us is ready for, is a relationship. But, for some reason, I feel a need to have her near me and give her everything she wants.
I’m supposed to divorce one. And remain friends with the other. What if I don’t want to do either?
Ellie Gates is a contemporary romance author, that is just starting to put to paper the dirty things in her brain.
When she is not writing, she lives in Michigan with her husband, wife and daughter. She is a family-centered, home body that picks up new crafts on the fly and masters them just as quickly. She loves her cats, her coffee and exploring all the kinks you will be reading about
This is my first FFM and the bar is set high because Ellie Gates did it and made me love this dynamic! All three characters were so unique but you could really tell they all needed one another and they would not have worked if they didn’t have each other.
Demi was my girl in this. I love the brat of the group and this girl was sassy most of the time but a good girl when she wanted to be. You never knew what she was going to say. Hayes was definitely Sir in this book. The man oozed dominance from the first time Demi meets him. These two were like magnets. Raegan was the Domme in this book and I loved every second of her being a dominant. I felt like Raegan was the glue in this group. She made a safe space for not only Demi but Hayes as well. These three worked so well together and I never felt like someone was left out.
Oh and this one had plenty of spice 🥵. The first scene of all three of them, I was melting. It just kept getting better and better. But I especially loved how much Raegan and Hayes took care of Demi. I loved those parts so much. Her being their sub, it really showed how important aftercare was. These two joining together to be the ultimate Dom/Domme was chefs kiss.
The humor in this, I couldn’t stop laughing. And it wasn’t just Demi. One of my favorite parts is when Hayes refers to Demi as their baby. Loved this book so much.
Thank you to Ellie Gates and Luna Literary for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

You would think by reading the tropes I would’ve had a small idea of the plot twist… but it still got me lol I was hoping but also unprepared for how they played out and into becoming a couple.
I love that Ellie’s books get you hooked within chapter 1. I couldn’t put it down. The pool these three had to each other, was so good. They just knew. There was no denying or hiding how they all felt. What they all wanted. I’m really really hoping for a book 4, or a slight spin off so we can get at least one more couple lol
I have been blessed to get to know Ellie through Instagram. However because I’m always super pumped about her releases … I get to read early from her. These opinions are mine and mine alone.
Hayes … okay, first of all - him getting dominated by Raegan? Not usually my thing … unless you write it, because wow. That was hot.
The reason behind his obsession with safety? Absolutely wild - and honestly, it makes so much sense why doms are so fiercely protective. Also, his father? Hate him. Fully on board with wishing him gone.
His mom’s letter? I cannot. That was so incredibly sweet.
The group scenes? Perfection. The individual dynamics within the throuple? Also insanely good.
Honestly, these books should be sold with an Arya subscription - just saying, look into that.
Demi and Hayes’ meet-cute made me giggle, and you already know I’ve loved Hayes from the beginning.
Demi … I love that Raegan is her ex-girlfriend, and the reveal happening in Hayes’ office? So good. And the fact that Demi knows they still love each other? Even better.
Demi’s mom? Absolutely awful. Demi’s dad? We like him. Love how he’s grown and opened his mind. I had a feeling there was more there when she ignored his texts.
“Little pixie”? Top-tier pet name. Obsessed.
I also really love that because of her past with Raegan, Demi knows how to communicate, ask for what she needs, and use her voice. That makes the story feel so complete.
There’s a bit of miscommunication, but once they come together, they’re all in - and it works.
Raegan … that flashback marriage scene and the moment that shaped Hayes’ safety obsession? 120/10. The fact that she’s only been with Hayes makes me ridiculously happy. And when she confronts him - and then dominates him?? Fire.
Also … her sister - does she get a book? Because I need that.
Axel is still an absolute menace, and I love that Wrin still gives it right back to him. And their babies?? Adorable.
Ryker and Bella … my whole heart.
And the domme/dom dynamic? Yeah, I’m fully on board.
Logistically, this book was so well done. The balance between flashbacks and present day was seamless - I could actually follow everything (which isn’t always the case for me).
I picked up Bound to You without reading the first two books in the Defying Gravity series, and I was able to follow along pretty easily. The author did a solid job weaving in the characters and backstory so I never felt lost.
The setup: Hayes finds out he is still married after twenty years, even though his life looks very different now. He owns half of a kink club, he is trying to move forward, and then his past shows up at the same time he meets someone new. Things get complicated fast, and the story follows Hayes, Demi, and Reagan as they figure out what they want and how they fit together.
Tropes included: Age Gap Second Chance Romance (x2) Kink Club BDSM and Rope Bondage FFM and Poly Therapist x Patient One Night Stand to Lovers Angsty and emotional themes
My thoughts: I liked the dynamic between Hayes, Demi, and Reagan, especially in the beginning when they were all trying to sort out their second chances. That part pulled me in right away.
As the story progressed, it began to feel too long for me. Some sections dragged, and I found myself wanting more plot to balance out the relationship focus. Once the throuple was established, I began to lose some interest. I think this could have been a shorter book and still delivered the same impact.
This is definitely not the lighter romance I usually reach for, which might be part of why it didn’t fully click for me. The themes themselves were fine. I just didn’t stay as engaged how's the story going on.
Overall, this landed at a three-star read for me. Early readers are giving it strong reviews, so it may hit differently for you, especially if you enjoy kink-centered, poly romances with a heavier emotional tone.
I sometimes go back and read earlier books when I jump into a series mid-way, but I don’t feel the need to with this series.
If you like angsty, character-driven romance with a kinky edge, this might be one to try.
Bound to You by Ellie Gates completely pulled me in and did not let go. This story felt raw, emotional, and beautifully complicated in a way that stayed with me long after I finished. From the very beginning, you can feel the weight of the past between these characters, and the way Ellie Gates unravels that history is both heartbreaking and deeply satisfying.
What I loved most was how real everything felt. The pain, the longing, the regret, and the hope were all woven together so seamlessly. Second chance romances can be tricky, but this one hit every note perfectly. You feel the history between them in every interaction, and it makes every moment feel intense and meaningful.
The dynamic between all three characters was handled with so much care and depth. Nothing felt forced or rushed. Instead, it unfolded naturally, with emotion, tension, and undeniable chemistry. The connection between them was layered and complex, filled with vulnerability and growth, which made it incredibly compelling to read. I was completely invested in how their story would come together. There is definitely heat in this book, but what makes it stand out is the emotional core behind it. It is not just about passion, it is about healing, forgiveness, and finding your way back to love in a way that feels right for everyone involved.
Ellie Gates has such a captivating writing style. The storytelling flows effortlessly, pulling you into every scene and making you feel everything right alongside the characters. She balances angst, romance, and spice in a way that feels authentic and addictive.
This was the kind of book that made me feel everything. It hurt, it healed, and it left me completely satisfied by the end. If you love emotional second chance romances with complex relationships and a whole lot of heart, this one is absolutely worth the read.
I love why choose/RH books. They are hands down one of my fave genres to read, but I had actually never tried a FFM poly dynamic before this, and I loved it.
This follows Hayes, Raegan and Demi, and these three had a LOT going on. Hayes and Raegan have a whole past between them. They got married young, life got in the way, hurt happened, and twenty years later they are still tied together in ways neither of them have properly dealt with.
Hayes was damaged, dominant, stubborn, and clearly still carrying a lot from the past. Raegan had so much pain sitting under the surface, and I really liked seeing her come back into Hayes’ life and actually have to face everything that had been left unsaid for so long. There was hurt, hesitation, anger, and a lot they needed to work through. Then there is Demi, who was my favourite! I loved what she brought to the dynamic. I liked that the connection between all three actually made sense, because I wasn’t sure how I would go reading FFM for the first time. The way their individual relationships mixed with their group dynamic was done incredibly well and so full of emotion.
The plot had second chance, kink club, emotional baggage, spice, hurt, and a relationship that had to be built between all three of them. And don’t get me wrong, it was hot and so spicy but there was also a lot more heart in it than I expected.
It made me want to try more FFM, which I was not expecting at all. If you love why choose/RH/poly and want something a little different with spice, emotion and a complicated trio, add this to your TBR.

Thank you Ellie Gates and Luna Literary for my ARC!
Sometimes reading is a challenge. Especially when authors "force" you to read a specific book. "Force" not with a 🔫 but because you love reading their books and now they wrote a book with tropes or sub genres you haven't read before, or even don't are the target group it the first place. In my case, it's MM or FF romance. And in this specific case, it's an FFM which I haven't read before.
This is definitely NOT critical, because I love it and I'm thanking Ellie for this experience 🩷😘
So, now to the actual review, but hey, you know me, my reviews are almost always like this 🤣
I was so excited to get to Hayes' story, because holy freakness, this guy is smex on a stick. He's so freaking 🔥 He and Ryker (book 1) are a very special kind of man. This book is an FFM, but I could be in an MFM with these guys. But on the other hand, I'm not sure if I would survive it because of the dominance and k!nkyness 🤣 Maybe that's why Hayes needs two women? But then there is "poor" Demi, who still had two dominant partners 🙈
This book definitely had a lot of surprises I didn't see coming. Right from the start, because I never would have guessed Hayes being married 😲 Yeah, I knew it because it's in the wedding short story, but before I read this short story, I wouldn't have guessed it, that's what I mean. But there are so many other things too.
This book is so 🔥 Sorry, my space is empty, I can't say more 😭
I end here with this series is a must-read for everyone who likes it k!nky in their books (or in real life, I'm not judging 😉).
Thanks to the author and Luna Literary Management for trusting me with an ARC 🩷
Bound to You by Ellie Gates (Hayes, Demi & Reagan)
This story starts in the past, when Hayes and Reagan are newly married and experimenting with BDSM. One of their early scenes goes wrong and ends with Reagan being taken to the hospital, which becomes a turning point in their relationship.
Hayes carries a heavy trauma from his childhood, his father constantly blamed him for his mother’s death during childbirth. That belief shaped him into a man convinced he is dangerous to the women he loves. After the accident with Reagan, he decides to leave her and files for divorce, believing that distance is the only way to protect her.
Twenty years later, Hayes is purchasing a property when he discovers something shocking: the divorce was never finalized, meaning he is still legally married to Reagan. This forces him to reconnect with a past he thought he had closed.
At the same time, Hayes runs a sex club where he meets Demi, a woman who believes she is lesbian and is healing from a broken heart and family rejection. During a session together, they discover an unexpected and intense chemistry.
Things become complicated when Hayes realizes Demi’s past heartbreak involves Reagan. Reagan re-enters the picture, and the emotional and romantic tension between all three explodes as hidden connections and old wounds come to light.
Despite the taboo and complexity, the three of them end up forming a polyamorous relationship built on desire, healing, and emotional truth. It’s messy, intense, and deeply character-driven.
Overall, this was a very entertaining read. The emotional trauma, forbidden dynamics, and character development worked really well together, making it a solid 4-star book.
Ladies and gentlemen she did it again. Ellie Gates delivered not only a hot as sin read, but also one packed with the kind of character growth that makes me want to dive back in and read it all over again.
First off, this was my very first FMF book, and I absolutely loved it. We have Hayes, who is exactly what I expected a hot as hell dom. Then there’s Raegan, who had me completely flustered (not gonna lie). And finally, Demi and honestly, I related to her so much. Each of them carries their own past, their own struggles, and completely different personalities. Watching them come together and grow both individually and as a unit was incredible. Their story is woven together so beautifully, and the bond they build? They’re the kind of people who would do anything for each other. And all three together? It just works.
What I especially loved yes LOVED is that this isn’t an easy, instant relationship. They have to work for it. They fight for it. And because of that, the HEA feels truly earned, which made it even more satisfying. The emotions in this book? You feel everything happiness, surprise, sadness, anger… all of it. Ellie has a way of writing that pulls those feelings right out of you. And the writing itself really shines here. You can feel how much heart Ellie put into this story, and it absolutely paid off.
I loved every second of this book, and I can’t wait to see what she gives us next. I’m truly honored to have read this as an ARC, thank you!
All I wanted was to drown my sorrows in expensive–and delicious–bourbon. Instead, I ended up drowning in perfect pixie p*ssy.
She needed a Dominant who could help her find the release that would help her stop living in the past and start to finally move forward with her life. I needed a submissive to help me do the same. In the end, I got more than I bargained for.
“I have feelings for you. And I’m also pretty confident I still have feelings for Raegan. I guess you didn’t f*** me hard enough the night of the wedding to get her out of my system after all.”
Miss Ellie is back and giving us more spice with Demi, Raegan and Hayes! These three have such messy histories with each other, and yet somehow all weave together, bringing them together. We get to go on the journey as Demi, Raegan and Hayes each have relationships together and how that develops over the years to the three of them finally coming together. And I love that what brought them all together is the backdrop of a BDSM club! Their story is so hot and emotional. Bound To You takes the reader on an emotional roller coaster that you will never want to get off of!
Thank you so much Ellie and @lunaliterary for the chance to arc read!

Bound to You is book 3 in the Defying Gravity series featuring Hayes & Raegan Adler and Demetria ‘Demi’ Mitchell.
Twenty years ago, Hayes & Raegan had a whirlwind romance that started and ended fairly quickly. After an accident lead to Raegan getting hurt, Hayes left in the middle of the night, sent divorce papers and never looked back.
Now when hes trying to purchase land behind gravity, he is unable to without his wives signature since she never filed the papers all those years ago. He finds out this information at his friend’s wedding and ends up hooking up with a beautiful woman he met there.
Demi came to Chicago after getting her heart broken by her ex girlfriend. She ends up hooking up with a handsome stranger and finds out hes part owner of gravity. she strikes up a sort of friendship with Hayes and he offers her a job being his demo partner at the club.
Raegan comes to town to finally sign divorce papers and end her 20 years of misery, when she discovers her husband and ex girlfriend together at Gravity.
Things take a turn and the 3 of them all end up together. Demi tries to bow out to igive Hayes & Raegan a shot at a second chance, even though it breaks her heart. Will Hayes & Raegan be able to move past 20 years of hurt and mend the fences and will they realize that they want Demi too before its to late?
I absolutely loved this book and these characters so much! This was the first time ive read a double second chance romance and I couldn’t put it down! The spice was definitely spicing too!
I liked this book a lot! (Did I forget to write a review? Yes..lol)
Honestly, this book was so well written. Author ate and left zero crumbs.
It’s hard reading FFM books sometimes since they tend to be a bit sexualized? At least from what I’ve read and how I’ve felt. So finding a FFM book that hit ALL of the marks was so satisfying.
I loved the tropes!! I was shocked. - therapist x patient - second chance lovers - bi-awakening
All that added up to a very angst (yet smutty) book. A lot of jaw dropping moments ( iykyk;)). I would definitely re read this book again😭.
I loved how much they both cared for Demi. They never excluded her, and they never made her feel uncomfortable, unwanted, unloved. I absolutely loved the developments in between each character.
Hayes..I don’t know where to even start 😭. He’s such a mess (in a good way). His backstory with Raegan AND with Demi..lemme tell you..the gasp I gasped. Raegan and Demi??? Jaw. Dropped.
Raegan and her dirty mouth 🫠. And the way she made BOTH Demi and Hayes submit?? Besides the point lol..I loved how independent she became after Hayes. Just shows that Women don’t need a man to succeed in life 🤚🏻
Demi..🥹 loved her since the beginning! I felt like her growth was the most heart warming (and shocking to say the least). I loved how much light she brought into their lives :’)
Bound to You is my first novel by Ellie Gates and I can say that I was pleasantly surprised about how fast I was pulled into the story.
Our three primary characters - Demi, Reagan and Hayes - have such an intertwined and messy history together. Reagan and Hayes were married for a small time but an incident forced them apart for years. When Demi enters their lives - first separately - it brings the estranged couple back together, the ties go deeper and grow stronger. We get to go on the journey with all three of them as they have relationships together and how those develop over time before bonding together. This story was equally hot and emotional as each character seeks to grow and be worthy of being loved.
I loved how both Hayes and Reagan do what they can to care for Demi, never letting her feel like she is excluded or felt uncomfortable in any way. Hayes is such a messy green flag of a male character and Reagan has such strength and independence that is beautiful to see. Ellie Gates crated a beautiful story that is so satisfying, especially for a FFM story.
Bound to You takes the reader on an emotional roller coaster filled with second chances, facing trauma, angst, smut, and a satisfying read.
Thank you to Ellie Gates and Luna Literary Management for the opportunity to read an eARC of this book!
Bound to You (Defying Gravity Series Book 3) - Ellie Gates ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 5 Stars 🌶🌶 - Spice Level
Two second chances in 1 romance, YES please! I ate this up in 1 day. I couldn't stop reading to find out if these three would get it together amd become the throuple they were headed for. I absolutely adored Demi for her "pixie" and sunshine self even with unsupported family life. Hayes, por troubled Hayes, made a very stupid mistake 20 years prior, but boy did he make up for it finally. How can you just leave and go no contact asking for divorce, but never the follow through. 🤦♀️ This is why we love the redemption ARC and the glow up of Raegan who found her inner bada$$ domme self.
The crawl for us. Chef's kiss! I absolutely loved to read the interdynamics of a successful throuple. It's a glimpse into how 3 have to consider each person and what they bring to the relationship while loving each individually and as a whole. Ellie did a great job showing us this. The spice was perfect to show each and all together needs being met.
If Sutton isn't screaming for I book, I hope she gets loud enough later. An overworked, unappreciated mother who took her kids away from a yuck relationship? Sign me up.
Thank you Ellie Gates for this ARC of Bound to You! I feel like you bound a piece of me to these characters and their is no going back‼️
So for me personally second chance romances make me nervous, and then Ellie threw a double whammy of second chance at me, and honestly I don’t think I will ever be the same!
The bond that these characters formed from their past, present and what they hope for the future was something that worked out so beautifully that my mind is still blown with the intimacy and intricacies that solidified their relationship.
The dynamic of this book was phenomenal I loved every second, and the way the Ellie was able to intertwine these tropes with the love that was exemplified on the page and the strength in the relationship that they were building was incredible‼️
I was beyond excited with all the character cameos too! All the interactions and moments that referenced Axel were absolutely priceless and I couldn’t stop laughing. I absolutely cannot wait what Ellie will come out with next, and I can’t wait to devour that just as well!

Bound to You is the perfect blend of tension, vulnerability, and that addictive energy that keeps you trying the page even when there are other things that you should probably be doing.
The chemistry? Off the charts. Ellie Gates writes connection the way some authors write plot twists — sharp, deliberate, and designed to make your heart and stomach do weird little flips. The dynamic between the three leads is intense in all the right ways: push‑pull, emotionally charged, and threaded with this slow, simmering tenderness that sneaks up on you.
What really sold me, though, was the emotional depth. The characters feel lived‑in, flawed, and achingly real. Their growth is messy but meaningful, and every moment of tension pays off with something that hits you right in the chest. And the pacing? Chef’s kiss. Not a single dull moment.
By the time I reached the end, I was fully attached, mildly feral, and already planning a reread. While Hayes didn’t knock Axel off of his throne, he was damn close to doing so. This book didn’t just meet my expectations — it wrapped them in a chokehold and whispered “you’re mine now.”

“I love you both more than I love anything else in the entire fucking world. More than this club. More than I love myself. I didn’t think it was possible to love anyone, yet here you both are… proving me wrong, every goddamn day.”
I just love an FFM I wish there were more cause this one was just hitting, the emotions and angst was crazy but also the spice was chef kiss sering them all come together (pun intended lol) was amazing you can just feel the love between especially Raegan and Hayes even though they haven't spoken in decades. This series just keep getting better and better and I can't wait for who's next cause I have a theory but can't wait to find out. The pacing of this book was also my favorite cause it was so intriguied every chapter and never wanted it to end. Their chemistry with one another is was also amazing had me foaming out the mouth for more
"Both of us. We both want to be in a relationship with you because we both love you. And we think we can wake it work with all three of uS."
Thank You So Much for giving me this incredible arc !💐🖤
This is the stunning cover that I could not resist. I told myself I didn’t need another book, but twist my rubber arm when it comes to kink and clubs.
I was really intrigued by the premise and wondered how they all came together. Plus when I see FFM with tropes I enjoy, I really try to give them the love they deserve. Please check the content warnings before jumping in here.
Comparison is the thief of joy, but I missed some of the intensity of Ryker and Bella and even Axel and Wrinley. I can appreciate as an author you don’t want to always write the same couple and plot, but this one felt like there was a lot of outside noise uncovering how all three knew each other and I missed some of the true passion between the partners.
Don’t get me wrong the club scenes were hot, the spice was spicing, I just didn’t finish this story feeling the same excitement as I did the previous two.
I really hope the hinting at the end comes true and we see a Dom/Sutton HEA next. As much as Dom is a comedic relief character, I feel like he would give a divorcee a run for her money.
Thank you to Ellie and Luna Lit for sharing this story with me in advance 💜💜
Demi bolts to a new city with her heart in a body bag after a brutal breakup she definitely hasn’t recovered from. She’s still hopelessly hung up on her ex, pretending she’s fine, barely holding it together, until Hayes comes crashing into her life. He’s just as wrecked. Twenty years in, and he finds out his marriage was never really over. Now they’re both pining over someone they can’t have…so what’s the harm in one reckless night to forget?
Yeah… about that…One night with Hayes altered everything Demi knows about herself. That spark turns into so much more than friendship but what follows neither one expected…. Like seriously what are the freakin’ chances?!!! It’s chaotic, emotional, and scorching in all the best ways, broken hearts colliding, rewriting the rules.
AND lawd have mercy was this spicy in all the best ways. 🪭🔥 The details, the description really made the scenes that more intense. 🥵
The dynamic and second chance romance aspect of this book really helps you connect with the characters and route for them. I loved it and now I have to backtrack through the series because I want to read them all.
Thank you Luna Literary and Ellie for the advanced copy to read 🫶
I'm not even sure what to say other than you need to read this book. Yes it's hottt, but it's also very emotional. I love these three and their story and already miss them!
Raegan and Hayes meet in college and end up getting married quickly. But something happens and Hayes ends up leaving Raegan with no explanation, breaking both their hearts.
20 years pass and Hayes meets Demi at a hotel during a friend's wedding. They have an instant connection, but their pasts keep them both guarded.
These three really go through it, both together and separately, but it's absolutely obvious that they could never be complete without each other. They are like magnets that have been forced apart, but as soon as they're near each other they can no longer fight the pull. Their love is so profound and beautiful.
This book is a funny, emotional, spicy rollercoaster and I enjoyed the hell out of it!
Also, THAT EPILOGUE!! My jaw is still on the floor!

Goodness did this make you feel all the emotions. I was in tears so many times, but I loved this book and these three so much. Hayes meets and marries Reagan in a whirlwind romance while in college, however while having fun in the bedroom, Reagan gets hurt causing Hayes to leave with no explanation to her breaking both their hearts.
Now the owner of Gravity, he meets Demi several years later and they form an instant bond over their shared past, neither of them knowing their shared past are both with the same woman, Reagan. Something forces Reagan back into Hayes life and ultimately Demi’s and holy moly do these three go through it. There is still so much love and passion between these three….but what happens when your past love and the one you thought was just friends all collide and you all want each other?
This story not only spicy( and trust the spice hits), buts it’s a beautiful journey of healing and second chances and moving on from your past. I have loved this series so much and can’t wait for our next adventure with Ellie.
Thank you Ellie for the ARC to read and to fall in love with their story all over again.
Whew! I devoured Bound to You just like the other two books in this series.
Ellie does an incredible job bringing to life a deeply emotional story woven into the fabric of a sex club with intense, but perfect clarity. The emphasis on safety and consent is paramount and I love that. It also paves the way for some incredibly hot spicy scenes and this book had plenty of them!
As characters, Hayes, Demi, & Reagan were all perfect and their dynamic together was incredible and I loved it and how they worked through so much trauma to get to their perfect HEA. There were moments through this story that were heartwrenching and others that were so delightfully swoony and that balance was just perfect throughout the story. Each of these characters goes through so much along the way, but the way they love and support each other made this book even more special and more perfect.
TROPES: FFM Age Gap One Night Stand BDSM / Sex Club Second Chance (x2)
Wow, what can I say. This was my first ffm romance and I loved it. Why choose, reverse harem, polyamory is one of my favorite tropes so I was looking forward to reading this. The fact it is set in the world of a kink club, means not one but two Dom/Dommess so you know there is going to be some spice and it does not disappoint. This isn't spice for the sake of spice, the bdsm club and lifestyle is integral to the story. It forms part of all the main characters' history, actions and interactions.
Scenes got spicy with ff fm and ffm scenes. I liked the way the polyamorous relationship developed and each person had their role in the relationship.
What I loved most was the emotion you felt from each character's perspective you weren't reading it you were living it. The feelings for eachother, the self sacrifice, the hurt and the joys.
This is a great second chances story. The plot line and issues raised were handled well.
Well worth a read. Great emotion and the kink and spice 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you to Ellie Gates and Luna Literary Mamagement for the opportunity to review this copy.
This was an emotionally layered romance that explores love, regret, and second chances in a more complex way. The premise immediately pulls you in, especially with the history between the main characters and the unresolved marriage that resurfaces years later. It creates a strong emotional foundation that carries through the story. The main character’s internal struggle feels central to the book, particularly as he navigates past mistakes, lingering feelings, and new connections. The dynamic between past and present relationships adds tension and keeps the story moving. While the setup leans into heavier themes, it still allows space for moments of connection and vulnerability. The club setting adds a darker, more mature backdrop, but the focus remains on the emotional conflict and character decisions. At times the relationships feel messy and complicated, but that also makes them feel more realistic. Overall, this is a character driven story that leans into flawed choices, emotional growth, and the difficulty of moving forward when the past is not fully resolved.
Where do I start?! I’ve been on the defying gravity series train since I picked up the first book and I’m OBSESSED. Three beautiful people and they are all in LOVEEEE 🥰
This story made me cry more than I was expecting, but really second chance 2x of course you’re gonna cry. The way this story unfolded was out of this world, I never knew what was going to happen and I actually loved it 🤭 I always say it’s a small world and this book really felt like that even with the time and distance between these characters over the year!
I know you shouldn’t pick a favorite but I just love Demi, her whole personality the teasing, the bratty attitude. She’s probably such an amazing person from the unfortunate trauma that we find out she has… that trauma wasn’t in vain, it lead her straight to Raegan & eventually Hayes too 🥰
Love love love the representation in this book as well as the discussion of sexuality being fluid as well as safe words and other important topics ✨
I still don’t know how to feel about this intoxicating story… Im no stranger to ‘Why Choose’, but this was my first FFM and I think the biggest thing for me was I kept finding myself pissed at Hayes. There were times where I enjoyed his character, but even the first moment between him and Demi at the hotel had me ready to fight him for Reagan. I totally understand family trauma and I know everyone feels their emotions differently, but I wanted to have some words with his younger self the night he decided to make decisions for everyone involved… it wasn’t right.
Everything else about this book was delicious, emotional, and raw. Reagan, Demi, and Hayes definitely work as a unit- you can see how much love each of them have for one another through all of the obstacles they tackle together.
Hmmm. I will say I’m definitely intrigued…Culinary School, huh? Count me in!
Thank you LunaLiterary and Ellie Gates for this ARC opportunity ❤️🩹🥰

So, if you love emotional, second chance romance with complicated relationships and wholesome book, this book is for you.
This story is raw, emotional, and beautifully complicated, that will be hard to move on from long after you finish this book. All the characters are amazingly written and you can feel their emotion through out the book.
Second chance romances are tricky in terms of how all the feelings of the characters are portrayed, but Ellie wrote this such beautifully that emotions, tension, and amazing chemistry feels natural between all the characters.
Overall, i loved this book and enjoyed it so much.
Have you ever had a book you go sucked into? Then life happened and you had to do things but when you get back to the book your consumed? This book did it for me.
I absolutely love the MMCs individual. They all brought something different but we're so well together. I adored Demi's innocent but enthusiastic side. Reagan was her mind and thoughts. Hayes, god that man is just perfect. The spice with them all!! Holy shi, Reagan is pure dom mode..hot!!
Throughout the story the found family aspect was amazing! Personally felt so many emotions giggling, tearing up. It was great seeing them power through everything that happened. It easier nice seeing Axel and Wrinley again! Can't wait for more xxx!
The way she has created this absolutely sensational dynamic with these characters is unlike no other!
I have never before seen a polyamorous (MFF) book portrayed in such detail with its, deep descriptive emotions and the most incredible soul achingly amazing dynamic between all characters that felt so fluid and easy yet carried the heaviness of how important communication and trust needs to be with those you love and care for.
This book had me giggling, swooning, sobbing my eyes out and in complete and utter awe of Ellie’s talents. I simply cannot wait to see what she does next! I’ll be thinking about Hayes, Raegan and Demi for a long time yet.. 💖
“I love you both more than I love anything else in the entire world. More than this club. More than myself. I didn’t think it was possible to love anyone, yet here you both are…proving me wrong every damn day.”
I gobble up second-chance romances by the handful. Ellie Gates decided to top my obsession by throwing a double dose of second chance. I died and went to heaven. This gal is so happy.
Hayes Adler only wanted to buy the land behind his kink club as an add-on. What he ended up getting was a long-lost wife and a hot little pixie. He thought he divorced one 20 years ago (the one that got away) and now he’s drawn to another who claims he isn’t her type. Raegan (wife) is back, and 20 years of feelings resurfaced. Hayes is supposed to divorce one and remain friends with the other. What happens when he doesn’t want to do either?
Bound To You is addictive. It has you turning the page to know where these three people are going to end up. The chemistry between this throuple was amazing. You felt the regret and longing. Ellie’s writing style is captivating. The spice was definitely deliciously spicy. Bound To You isn’t just about the spice and romance. It’s about healing. All three had demons to conquer in different ways, but they found a way to do it together. It’s true what they say: love conquers all. I’m looking forward to seeing where Ellie is taking us next. Cough cough, Dom.
Tropes: age gap, second chance (x2), kink club, BDSM, FFM/Poly, therapist x patient, ONS, angsty/emotional, praise k!nk.
Thank you so much, Ellie, for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
