A Dynasty Built on Sin
OMG besties… this is not a book, it’s a descent. "Captive: The Extended Devils Trilogy" is dark romance turned up... then set on fire🔥. Think 🐝DSM empire, p¤rn royalty, cu£t-level devotion, and a dynasty built on sin, power, and obs€ssion.
Vanessa Wesley (FMC) and Jake Gordon (MMC) are chaos incarnate... gods, monsters, lovers... while Stephanie’s rise from innocence to corruption wrecked me in the best way. By the time Leston enters the chat... I was so anxious. Forbidden obs€ssion, legacy trauma, and a virgin heir who snaps... All illegal levels of good.
This 2nd Edition delivers everything readers begged for: Jake’s POV in Part 1, extended scenes, deeper depravity, and no mercy. Every part gets darker and messier. The writing is bold, psychological, and deliberately uncomfortable... but that’s the point.
Make sure to read the TWs. This is dark and taboo-heavy… but if you love twisted dynasties and morally black romance, add to your TBR immediately.

The Captive Trilogy Extended - Llianne Olivo
This series and book means the absolute world to me. I could reread this series over and over again. I remember when this was just a small short story and my love for this story only grows. The characters are deep and complex and it’s so interesting to learn about them and to see their point of views and perspectives. I love the relationship dynamics between the characters and how they grow and evolve.

I don’t know whether to clap or cry. This book isn’t morally grey — it’s pitch black and dancing barefoot in the flames.
Twists I did NOT see coming.
The tension? Toxic. Addicting. I ate it up.
It dives into obsession, captivity, and power with no promise of redemption. The atmosphere is tense, unsettling, and addictive in the worst-best way.
The main character is trapped in a world ruled by control and cruelty, and the author doesn’t soften any edges. The writing keeps you hooked, even when you want to look away. It’s dark, twisted, and emotionally heavy — definitely not a romance for the faint-hearted.
Dark level: 10/10
Trigger warnings heavily needed.
If you like your dark romance actually dark — no heroes, no softness — this one delivers.

I need holy water and a nap.
