This is a good book that gives a fair idea of what and how of bowers/fans. There are gaps which leave the reader in a lurch for the want of information. If I were in his position I would have added full details (with drawings of blades, shrouds, hub, casing, etc. including thickness of plates, entry, discharge, bearings, shaft details, etc.) of at least a dozen centrifugal fans - covering a wide spectrum of performance parameters - low pressure high volume, medium pressure- medium volume, high pressure-low volume.

In case of RT blowers (Table 7.3) the blade ID (d1) and the shroud ID vary a lot. But in the absence of any details we do not get the desired performance. The graphs (e.g. 7.27) are too small to be of any use.

There is no way we can contact the author and get clarification on such issues.
