Visit visa refusals: How to challenge decisions

Rate this book
This guide aims to help you if you or a member of your family has been refused a visa for visiting the United Kingdom. It is aimed at informing the public on the process and assisting litigants in person to pursue their own cases.

The author is a barrister specialising in immigration law at Garden Court Chambers in London. Colin has been representing applicants in immigration cases since starting work as a lawyer in 2000 and in that time he has helped people in countless visit visa appeals.

The guide looks at how to avoid being refused in the first place then moves on to look at options if an application is refused. Useful hints and tips are provided throughout. The possibility of an appeal to the immigration tribunal is explored and an in depth explanation of the appeal process, preparation and presentation is provided. Applications for judicial review are also discussed, along with the process to lodging and pursuing an application for judicial review.
