Please Harley, Miss Ma’am!! Listen to the cries of your readers!!! Emery does NOT need to convince them of anything!!!!!!! THEY were the ones who messed up, not her! Please please please don’t make her beg for their attention the way I am begging you!! Love you so much though, and can’t wait to read this book!!

I loveeed the first two books but im sooo disappointed about the ending....

Why did they react so irrationally?? Wasn't derek supposed to be the clear thinking one? Or what, do they're personalities just disappear once faced with something they can't handle? Four grown ass men reacting like that is seriously wrong. I just hope that Emery will give them the punishment they diserve not coming to them and begging them to come back.

But im looking forward to this book and i love the author. ♥️♥️

I cannot, CANNOT, believe I got the privilege to read this, this early. PRIVILEGED is an understatement .
Who allowed this level of emotional abuse to exist in a book? Someone call the authorities because my heart has been wrecked.

And Emmy. Ohhh, Emmy. That bratty little firecracker? Best. Shit. Ever. Her attitude puts this entire universe to shame, and I am here for it. Every sassy line, every side-eye moment, it’s peak chaos, and I live for it.

Xavier, sweet baby, my actual number 1 daddy, who somehow skyrocketed even higher on the “amazing” scale even though he was already there. Just… chef’s kiss.
Hudson? Honey, he made a guest appearance in my top spot but sadly couldn't stay, not that i'm mad about it.

This book is one relentless ride: teasing me with happiness, dangling hope in front of my face, making me think, “Oh FINALLY, we get some peace, some joy, some satisfaction.” And then, oh, sweet summer child, BAM. Slapped. Hard. With the ending.
Disrespectful doesn’t even cover it.
That ending is criminal. I’m talking emotional terrorism at its finest.

And yet… and yet. I would absolutely do it again. 10/10 would let this book destroy me. I’m shook, I’m mad, I’m obsessed, and honestly? I want the next one right the hell now.

3.75⭐️after the cliffhanger in book 2, I was so excited to read this book, but I fear my expectations got the best of me🙈 it was still great, but just not necessarily what I expected/had hope for😅

Emmy actually starts uni now and I love the whole uni-student-roommate-study setting👏🏼 that was something I was pleasantly surprised by as I didn't think it would play such a bit part 🙌🏼 like it makes sense when I think back, but still😂

this is kinda a spoiler, so I'll try to keep it as vague as possible; I didn't think the whole book would be her trying to win them back/them attempting to find a solution.. like I thought they would get together halfway through the book and then a new problem would arise at the end (since I knew this isn't the last book).. but that didn't happen which resulted in me getting frustrated with the ending 😐

still looking forward to the next book, but I’m a little sad I didn't love this as much as the others 😞

4/5🌶️

Brat Baby is the third book in the Sugar Life series, and it does not hold back. This is a high steam, why choose romance with one bratty baby girl desperate to win her daddies back, and four Daddy Doms who crave what they can't have.🤔

After the way book two ended, I was dying to get my hands on this one ..and Harley Madison did not disappoint.🥵

This book delivers some of my absolute favorite tropes:
Brat
Forbidden romance
Why choose (reverse harem)
Delicious dom/sub dynamics

Harley Madison knows exactly how to write spice that hits. 🌶️ The scenes had me blushing, giggling, and literally kicking my feet, equal parts filthy and fun. 🫠
I honestly can't even pick a favorite scene, but when Emmy slipped into brat mode trying to win her daddies back in the most delicious ways possible 🤤Omg The office scene was just🤯🤤 (iykyk).
And then Derek dropped this line that had me screaming:
"But her asking me to train that dude bro joke frat boy, that is barely older than my oldest flogger, was enough to have me seeing red."

Pure Daddy energy.

Also, I have to mention that ending Spoiler alert - yep, another cliffhanger! 🤯
l was scared it would end that way, and sure enough I was sitting there shaking my head in frustration. Now I'm impatiently waiting for the next book to see what happens next.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spicy, bratty, and addictive, with an
ending that left me begging for more🤤

I want it to be known that I am NOT okay! 🥺 These books are precisely the reason I make sure to now always check that every book is released or releasing soon, in a continuating series, before I start.
I have absolutely loved all the books so far, this being no exception. I should probably be embarrassed to admit how quick I was to download this when I woke up this morning buuuuut I'm really not! There were several times I had to, consciously, put the book down, just to try and drag it out a little longer. Not wanting it to end, because I knew that I'd have to wait for the last book 🥺 that makes me sad.
This was a brilliant book, one that I thoroughly enjoyed. Emery turning up the brat dial was a joy to read...I'm glad it didn't turn into lots of moping and begging on her part. Im hoping for all the begging and grovelling from the guys in the next book.
Another exceptionally written book, from the plot, to the characters, to the spice (which was definitely hot and maybe was the reason for a couple of the breaks). And that cliffhanger....the gasp I gasped! In all honesty, the entirety of the last two chapters had me gaping like a goldfish.
I'm sitting here now praying that we don't have to wait until July for Baby Girl...but I definitely recommend the read!

I suppose I’m just disappointed in the drag out of this story. While at times it makes sense as they have to wait, I feel like the lack of communication once everything was aired out could’ve led to a more seamless story. For instance instead of not talking to emery they could’ve had the conversation and from there it could’ve been them trying and failing to stay apart. Then most of emery’s chapters wouldn’t have been so desperate and annoying.

Then to end the way it did was aggravating to no end because now we’re forced to read another book. While I love reading and don’t mind additional books in a series, I can’t stand dragging out books to make something that doesn’t need to be a series, a series.

Not my kink but after having a conversation with my friend about whether or not I would’ve taken contract 1 and 2 (weekend extension) I said yup! But with this book I can wholeheartedly say no way with the 3rd extension for 6 months.

Lastly, I can’t say that it’s believable that Xavier would do such a thing at the expense of the others.

This book FINISHED ME a few days ago, and I still have no idea how to convey the flood of emotions I’m carrying or how badly I need you to read this book and the rest of the series.

Harley’s writing is incredible! She slips you seamlessly into the MCs’ heads that you live every single emotion with them: the good, the bad, and the steamy. From the gut-wrenching heartbreak at the end of book two to the pure, reckless joy of the bratting scenes we all wanted, this series is an emotional roller-coaster that has left a permanent mark on me.

You have me on my knees, begging as usual, Harley. Please, please, please give us the ending we need.

Oh, and if anyone can point me in the direction of a Darcy, I would really appreciate it!

I’m absolutely blown away. Like… actually speechless. Emery is out here living the dream I didn’t even know I needed—four sugar daddies, one bratty little secret, and a dynamic shift that had me screaming into my pillow. I legit binged this series. I need book 4 ASAP because I am feral for more.

Emery is deliciously diabolical with her naughty plans to win her Daddies back, and I loved every second of it! Between the outfits and the toys, she definitely got her Daddies' attention.
Harley has a real talent for taking just a handful of days and stretching them into a full novel, while still keeping the story fast-paced and addictive. And yes — the ending is a HUGE cliffhanger, but honestly, would you expect anything less from the Queen of kink herself?

This will be an unpopular opinion, but hear me out.

I wanted to give the book more stars, but there are too many red flags, things that made me feel very uncomfortable and also what I consider poor representation of BDSM (which may teach some readers the wrong things about how power exchanges work). I will probably sound unfair in my long review, because there are so many dark romances out there with undoubtedly toxic MCs that we all love. But those are clearly over-the-top fiction and nobody thinks this is how things should happen in real life, while this series actually aims to represent BDSM in a healthy way. In my opinion, it fails spectacularly in that regard, except in the final scene where secondary characters are introduced.

First, my biggest issue is that the FMC is 18 and the MMCs are all in their late 30s. I found that cringy from the very beginning but the first two books were around their transactional exchange, so I could ignore it to an extent and enjoy the smut. But not in the third book, where feelings are involved and long-term relationships considered, while money is still being exchanged. I understand it's a plot-driver, but it gave me major yuck.

I feel very uncomfortable with the idea of 3 grown-ass men falling in love with an 18-year-old. Age gap can be sexy, but this didn't feel sexy, it felt a) very unrealistic, b) unhealthy, and c) predatory - even more so in the context of power exchange and Emmy's disadvantaged background. Several times Derek refers to one of Emmy's colleagues who flirts with her as a "kid". Well, that "kid" is the same age as Emery...

Second, the fact that they kept paying her throughout the book while everything pointed towards everyone falling for Emmy (and she for them), also didn't feel right. I know, objectively, that there are relationships like that out there, but when the plot goes in the direction of romance, keeping this transactional element felt in very poor taste. And worse, we're not just talking about a normal why-choose - this is a BDSM DD/lg relationship between 4 men and 1 girl. One poor girl with no next of kin and no adult in her life and 4 well-off men at the peak of their careers and lives in general. A regular DD/lg relationship has power exchange. The essential element of any power exchange dynamic is that both sides have power to give. But throughout all the books, it doesn't feel like Emmy has any power to give - she is financially and later emotionally dependent on the four Daddies and doesn't really have a way out or many healthy alternatives. Could she easily end things and lose both the financial and emotional support and care? This feels like unintended coercion and dubious consent on relationship level. And that's, again, predatory and a major turn-off.

Third, Derek and Hudson demonstrating such poor self-control and willing to risk their jobs and Emmy's future doesn't feel realistic. I understand their desperate desire for her, considering she's uniquely compatible with all 4 of them kink-wise. It still doesn't mean they will lose their heads and risk everything. Experienced Masters have supreme self-control. I understand it's sexy (in theory) that they're so hot for her they can't keep it in their pants and this is one of the things that drives the book and ensures there's at least some spice, but it left a bad taste in my mouth - mostly because it deviates from what I consider accurate representation of the BDSM world. And of mature, well-functioning adults. Same goes for Emmy who's willing to risk her scholarship and her entire future for men she's known for just a couple of days, although she's a child, so we can cut her some slack.

Last, the dark romance side that Xavier brings and the whole mystery around his background. I won't spoil it but it doesn't feel right in this type of book. It feels even worse in the context of trying to portray BDSM in a healthy way.

If this was positioned in a dark romance/dark romantasy setting, I think it would have worked much better and I'd have been more forgiving. But honestly, Harley, you give DD/lg a bad name.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BRAT BABY by Harley Madison completely blindsided me.

I knew this book was going to be intense, but I did not expect it to hit the way it did. From the very first chapter, Harley Madison pulls you into a world thick with tension, control, and razor-sharp chemistry that never lets up. Every interaction feels intentional, every moment simmering, and the pull between these characters is impossible to ignore.

The dynamic is addictive, the push and pull is deliciously unhinged, and I found myself devouring pages just to see how far things would go. Harley Madison has a talent for building anticipation and then cranking it up another ten notches when you think you’ve reached the limit.

And that ending… good LORD. I actually gasped. Full stop. I just sat there staring at the page like, there is no way you’re leaving me like this. It was brutal, perfectly timed, and emotionally devastating in the best way. I desperately need the final book like I need air—immediately.

This entire series is dangerous, addictive, and completely unputdownable. Brat Baby solidified Harley Madison as an author who knows exactly how to wreck her readers, and I will be waiting (impatiently) for the finale.

ARC

One of the most addictive and heartbreaking series I’ve ever read. Emery owns my heart.

This book destroyed me in the best way. The Sugar Life series has me completely addicted, and Book 3 just took everything to another level.

It’s slower than the first two, but that only made me feel it even more. Watching Emery suffer broke my heart—she’s so sweet, she’s worked so hard, and I just wanted to protect her. Seeing her daddies be cruel honestly shattered me.

It’s been a long time since a story pulled me in this much. Harley, thank you for creating characters that make us feel so deeply. My heart hurts, but I loved every second of it. 💔✨

I’m literally counting down the days until Book 4… I need more Emery and her daddies in my life already!

I don't know how I feel about these books, first of all I read them in the wrong order not realising it was a series. I started with thus one and didn't understand what was going on. Once I realised I picked up the first book.
Now hear me out, I love good spice especially reverse harem but there are some things about this book that are very wrong.
The age play, her pretending on first meeting that she was a little girl. I have no problem with the daddy kink but this was to me more pedo stuff. I mean wanting her to act like a little girl who was being good for her daddies was just weird. The spice was happening and it's should have been good but it wasn't, there was something missing. I didn't feel connected to it at all. I think with this kind of kink there should be a build up which I suppose there was but it didn't feel right. I don't really like the FMC, I think she is too young for what is going on here, it just felt a bit icky. obviously I might be a minority with this and that okay just wanted to put my thoughts out there.
I have read some pretty kinky spice and I didn't feel this way about it, maybe it's the way it was written and depth of the character but this one just wasn't right .
Not for me, there are so many better kinky spice books out there that don't give the ick factor. Sadie Kincaid's The perfect fit comes to mind, it has lots of kink and was bloody brilliant.

What. The. Fuck. Was. That?

I have been lucky enough to win an ARC early copy of this amazing book at 9am this morning it is now 7pm the same day and I've finished it and not sure if I should cry or not because I finished it so quickly.

So, I enjoyed every fucking second if this book...up until the last chapter

Harley? How can you do a girl like that?
How can you leave me hanging like that and expect me to wait till July next year to get the next one 😭

This whole series has a disgusting chokehold on me that frankly I do not wish to discuss

Harley's writing style is honestly phenomenal, the way she describes things is amazing, from the first sentence of the first book I was hooked, three books later and I feel like a crack addict waiting for my next fix (that being the fourth and final book) I am so attached to this series and if you are reading this review I hope you are as attached as I am

I don't know what Harley Madison puts in her books, but they are so addictive it's ridiculous.

I have been waiting for book 3 for what seems like a lifetime, and of course, it didn't disappoint.

There is just something about Darcey, Hudson, Derek and Xavier, that I can't get enough of. Seriously, I think I love them all. I found myself actually wishing Emmy would confess her love to them all the way through this book, and they barely even know each other. That's how obsessed I am with them. They are all different and have their own set of morals, ambitions and kinks 😉 but together, they are perfection.

I loved Emmy's bratty side in this book, even though she is only young and this is an age gap romance, she doesn't always necessarily feel young because of her past trauma, her personality mainly, is that of someone older. She knows her mind and isn't afraid to fight for what she wants.

Now, I've said it before, and I will say it again, Harley Madison's writing of spice, is impeccable. It doesn't feel smutty but it 100% is, it feels natural and unforced but is also absolutely filthy! There were definitely parts in here I had to Google because I had no idea what they were (if you don't want to be dragged down a proper rabbit hole, maybe don't do that). After 3 books, I did find myself wondering if I'd find the spice a bit repetitive, but that was certainly not a problem I can assure you! Somehow, new and kinky and intriguing things just seem to fall out of Harley's mind and onto the page, I would love to live in there for a day and just absorb an ounce of her imagination!!!

I am absolutely fuming about the ending, I mean, proper livid! I am so invested in these characters, that the ending wasn't what I was hoping for, or expecting so gobsmacked is probably putting it mildly.

I need book 4 immediately!

Brat Baby releases on 26th September so please go and get it preordered and thank me later.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 stars, even if I’m screaming into the void!)
All I can think is: she said “red.” And my god, my heart is aching. Emery fought so hard for her daddies, and then thathappened. I feel completely gutted. There were so many moments where I just wanted to throat punch these guys—hard. And yet, here I am, still hopelessly in love with these characters, still clinging to hope, still desperate for book four.
Let me just say this: Xavier. That man had me in a puddle. His desire to choose Emery, the way he moves in those scenes—they are risky, intense, and had my heart thumping. He is the only one who truly, fully chose her. And it shows.
Yes, the daddies were frustrating. So frustrating. But that’s also the beauty of Harley’s writing. Every emotional reaction I had—rage, heartbreak, tension, longing, butterflies in my stomach—it was all intentional. Harley wants us to feel this chaos. And she succeeds, completely.
When it comes to erotica, Harley Madison is in a league of her own. She doesn’t just write steamy scenes—she paints them. Every scene is vivid, cinematic, and emotional. You feel everything. The passion, the power plays, the ache of unmet desires.
This book was a total page-turner for me. I couldn’t stop. The bratty energy Emery brought? I was giggling, smiling, cheering her on. I love her defiance, her sass, and her strength. She’s fighting for her place, her voice, and her heart. And I was right there with her every step of the way.
Now, yes—it ends on a cliffhanger. And yes—I wanted to throw my Kindle across the room and scream: “F that ending!” But in the best possible way. Because now, I need book four like I need air. I want to see these daddies on their knees, groveling. I want the redemption arc, the tears, the full surrender.
Harley Madison—you have me kneeling, sobbing, and begging for more.
