Oh yeah, utter deliciousness right here. Hot, intense, dramatic and emotional, this book latches on quick and hard and once in its fierce grip it just doesn't let go. My thoughts, feelings and emotions all got put through the wringer as Sienna and Kaz's story unfolds. From my heart aching for Sienna, to being torn between attraction to and annoyance toward Kaz, pure rage to a couple other characters, I feel like I just took one epic rollercoaster ride.

I have read many of Ms. Stone’s books, and while there may be similarities, whether in characters or overarching storylines, each new release has its own unique touch and never fails to entertain or surprise me. This storyline was reminiscent of earlier books in the series, where the Volkov brothers enter strategic marriages to benefit the family. Once again, the story is steamy and laced with danger, revenge, brutality, and blackmail.
This is Kaz and Sienna’s story, and as expected from this series, it carries a strong Mafia theme. Their relationship is complex and far from a love story at the start; it is a contract designed to forge peace between the Volkov and DeAngelo families, or what remains of them.
Sienna DeAngelo believed she had finally gained freedom from her brothers abuse after their death, but that freedom was short-lived. It was ripped away when she was forced to pay for her brothers sins. To protect her nephew, Sienna is coerced by her uncle into a marriage with Kaz Volkov. She is no shrinking violet, despite everything she endures, Sienna is strong, fiery, and resilient, and she refuses to let go of her growing relationship with Kaz.
There is honor even in the criminal world, and I admired that Kaz never crossed the line by using Sienna to gather information against her family. I also loved how easily he accepted Tommy and how gentle and protective he was with him. Kaz’s initial anger toward Sienna slowly transforms into protection, possession, and passion. I had always thought of Kaz as more of a playboy, so it surprised me, in the best way, when he didn’t put up a fight about marrying Sienna. He believed he had her figured out, but she was nothing like the spoiled Mafia princess he expected. Instead, she was a pawn in her uncle’s dangerous game, one she could never win.
I loved the sense of anticipation and creativity Ms. Stone infused into both the characters and the storyline. This book is fraught with emotional tension, brimming with complex character development, and packed with complicated yet fiery chemistry. Watching Kaz and Sienna grow and evolve as the story unfolded was immensely satisfying. In my opinion, this book deserves top marks.

Devious Revenge is the fifth and final book in the Vicious Sinners series by Measha Stone. This was a first time read for both the author and the series, but I didn’t have trouble getting into the book at all. For that reason I can safely say the series can be read as standalones in an interconnected storyline. This is Kaz and Sienna’s story. Like most of the series, there is a heavy hand in the mafia so check the trigger warnings that come with that.
Sienna is brutally thrown back into a world of control and chaos after finally thinking she escaped her abusive brothers, but fate has other plans for her. Manipulated by her family by the guise of protecting her nephew, she is married off to Kaz Volkov. Kaz is a play boy through and through, and has his own suspicions of her and their forced marriage. Slowly Kaz learns about his new wife, who she is and uncovers just how her family is blackmailing her. The more he learns about Sienna the more his need grows for her and the urge to protect her. Sienna isn’t a stranger to the work of mafia families, but the Volkovs teach her what true loyalty, love and family really mean.
For a book so fast paced, this book felt so much longer. I give the author major kudos for packing so much into a storyline. Kaz and Sienna have great chemistry and an even hotter connection to one another, the added element of suspense and drama was a great addition to the plot of the book. Both characters were engaging and interesting to read, the family drama between the families kept a level of danger and the spice kept everyone ready for the next page. Overall I enjoyed the book and would read the author again, curious to see what comes next.

This is the story of Sienna and Kaz. Sienna's story will break your heart. Her brothers are absolutely horrible and al she wants is to be away from them and their abuse. When they died that should have been over. But there are people out there who want revenge and now the sins of her brothers have come back to haunt her. I guess I should say that since she is the one left, they are going to make her pay. However, she has a nephew to protect, and this leads to her into a marriage that her uncle was all about, and she didn't really want. Kaz is a mafia man and now that Sienna is about to be his wife he can find out all about her family and has some plans of his own. What he didn't expect was Tommy, her nephew and how he would affect him. And then we have Sienna who is way stronger that he anticipated. She is fierce and strong. I would say she is resilient and when the time comes she will protect what she cares about with all that she is. I loved these characters. I love that Kaz didn't use Sienna and instead grew to respect her and what she has to say. He takes care of Tommy like he is his own and protects him. Watching these two form a relationship is a thing of beauty and I devoured this book. This is a book that you too will love and don't want to miss.

This is the 5th story in the Vicious Sinners Series where we meet Sienna who loses her 3 brothers in a war they started and lost against the Volkov family. Sienna has stayed away from their lives due to the abuse she took from them as kids. Uncle Vincent is sent from Italy to end the war making a decision Sienna will marry Kaz their enemy. Sienna decides to take 1 night for herself and meets a handsome stranger, Kaz. They spend an incredible night together with no names and when Sienna leaves Kaz is disappointed even knowing he’s to he married the next day to get revenge for his sister after the deception Tommy pulled. The next day at the wedding they are both shocked and things go from hopeful for them to Kaz becoming demanding, rude and taking Sienna away from her life at the end of the reception. Sienna is never given the benefit of doubt or the curtsy of Kaz listening to her. When Vincent and cousin continue to run businesses that were to stop per the contract does Kaz start to take action against them and discovering what a beautiful wife he has. Sienna is a strong woman who takes her nephew against Vincent’s control and Kaz and Sienna find themselves in danger against the ruthlessness of her family and end up getting their own revenge!

I loved Kaz and Sienna's story. Upon the death of her brothers, Sienna is told by her Uncle Vicente that she has to marry Kaz. There was an agreement signed between the Russian Voltov (Kaz) and Italian DeAngelo (Sienna) families to end the war that her brothers had started, and it's now Sienna's job to "clean it up." Her uncle forces her to sign by holding her nephew Tommy, whom she adores, over her head. On their wedding day, Kaz's intention is to seek revenge on her for what her brothers did to him and his family. But things didn't go according to his plan. He's smitten with Sienna and will do anything for her, including protecting her. Sienna is not used to Kaz and the way he adores her, since her family never treated her that way; she was subject to their abuse. Despite the way their relationship starts, Measha has you loving Kaz and his adoring ways by the end.

OMG, my heart bleeds for Sienna with what she must do for the family, but she will be a force to be reckoned with for Kaz! You can feel the cosmos align for Sienna as she is out on the town with her girlfriends on her last night of freedom. When she needs a break from her friends’ conversation, she tumbles across Kaz and the stars align for what each other needs for the night. Kaz can’t forget the mysterious woman he met the night before, so he becomes furious at seeing Sienna walking down the aisle to him the next day. What follows is an interesting turn of events as Sienna’s uncle and cousin continue to mess with her life and Sienna’s only goal is to protect her nephew from them. As Kas and Sienna spend more time in between the sheets, it gives you hope for their happily ever after. But will the continued threat of her family ruin the peace that the marriage of the families was supposed to do? You have to read to find out and don’t expect to put the book down until you turn the last page as there is really no good place to stop as Measha keeps the tension ramped with each page!

Their first meeting is when they both are at a bar, trying to forget the same thing, an arranged marriage. They have a no-name ONS and leave it at that. Imagine both of their surprise, when at the wedding, they recognize each other from the ONS. That is the fun part.
Kaz and his brothers are solid and would do anything for each other which is how the arranged marriage came about, to prevent a war between Kaz's family and Sienna's family. Sienna's family is less than loyal, and her uncle only sees her as a pawn to further his ambition as the head of the family.
The chemistry and banter between Kaz and Sienna is perfection. She is sassy and sweet at the same time, and he is firm but respectful of her feelings. I like how the family situation was resolved and how Kaz and Sienna's relationship evolved. Definitely one of my favorite reads that will go in my re-read rotation.

Sienna DeAngelo had buried her three brothers in New York City and was dealing with the priest, caterers and getting house back to normal when summoned by her uncle...who told her she had to marry one of Volkov family to save her own family...to save her nephew from harm, she reluctantly agreed, but also decided to go out with friends that evening since marrying next day. Kaz had NYC meeting and talked to friend about going to exclusive club since in town for few days, after reluctantly agreeing to marry sight-unseen daughter of DeAngelo family, thinking she was spoiled brat, but for last night of freedom, and also...meeting a delicious temptation at a club offering no real names, no phone numbers just anonymous one night stand to remember during their next years as unwanted bride/groom to rival family...Sienna led down aisle, except the man standing at alter was her anonymous lover...but you will need to read this delightful story to see what happens with Kaz and Sienna and if love can triumph over family rivalries...I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

Where has Measha Stone been all my life? This book was absolutely out of this world from page one to page 287. I loved the author’s writing so much! Kaz Volkov is ruthless, loyal, and driven by revenge, while Sienna DeAngelo is gentle, selfless, and trapped in a family that sees her as nothing more than a pawn. They are forced into a marriage to end a war, and for Kaz to execute his revenge and Sienna to save her nephew; yet nothing goes according to plan. Sienna’s strength and kindness shine as she protects her innocent nephew and endures cruelty from those who should care for her. Kaz’s anger and loyalty feel raw and real, and watching him soften as he discovers the truth about Sienna is deeply satisfying. They are the perfect match! Their chemistry is sizzling, their connection intense, and the emotional weight in the final chapters is heartbreaking yet beautiful. This is a gripping Russian mafia romance full of obsession, sacrifice, and love forged in fire, and I devoured every word.

This is the fifth book in the Vicious Sinners series & it can be read as a standalone. Events follow from the fourth book and the author has done a great job of reminding the reader what had previously occurred. The is Bratva/Mafia, ONS, arranged marriage story which captured my feelings from the beginning.
Sienna’s family did not value women, let alone their happiness—when she chooses to do something just for her, she will have beautiful memories to carry with her. Sienna fits into Kaz’s family so well, with the caring protection towards each other which was never part of her family. I felt the complexities of their relationship and the writing around this was sublime. There’s the quiet strength, animosity & desire which they were able to admit without drama. I enjoyed watching their relationship change when Sienna & Tommy’s relationship was uncovered, it just started blossoming so sweetly. My favourite book by the author.

Kaz offers to marry the daughter of the DeAngelo family to cement the truce between them and the Volkov family. He has more sinister plans though, getting revenge by dismantling the DeAngelo family and using Sienna as a means to an end. What he doesn't expect was a girl that is innocent of her family's deceit. I loved how these two discovered each other, while at the same time wanting to scream that neither of them fully opened up and laid themselves bare to the other until it was almost too late. There were a lot of secrets in this story and I won't give them away here, but be expected to be surprised. I was so moved by Sienna and Kaz's story and loved them so much together. Sienna was no push over, but with the Volkovs she finally got the family she deserved. Loved the HEA and I'm looking forward to the final book in the series (and maybe a spin off or short story with Sienna's two friends??).

This is book five in the Vicious Sinners series. Rarely do I give a five-star review and even rarer that I wish for the ability to rate higher. This is one of those times. This story set the reader on an emotional roller coaster ride that you didn't want to end. Kaz was one of those characters that you didn't know if you should shake, hug, smack him or simple dig a hole and toss him in. Sienna was a stubborn, strong, loving, and snarky woman. Together - arguing or loving - they will set everything on fire and burn the world down. They both fought for their loved ones and eventually for each other. It wasn't an instant love but a ride to get there. Old friends and family showed up. New family and enemies appeared who I wanted to stick around because they were so deliciously evil. Devious Revenge has all the makings of a really good dark mafia romance. In theory, the plot, pacing, and characters should have flowed well together. But, in actuality, it was akin to Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown at the last moment. Every time I thought - ‘ok, this is going somewhere’ or ‘this is getting good’ - it didn’t.
Especially, the ending…it was the worst part of the book. Considering the build-up for the culmination of the story, the ending was a complete letdown. So much SHOULD have happened in those last few chapters. So much SHOULD have been discussed. I had more feelings about what was left out of the book rather than what was actually in the book.
Unfortunately, this book was just not for me.

Ugh why did it started so well, just to spiral down so fast💀
Why did the FMC had to lose all her personality right after getting with the MMC ??? Everyone made her out to be this strong headed, powerful woman, who doesn’t let people tell her what to do. But then she ended up married to the MMC and she just does everything and anything he asks of her because he somehow has a “power” of her and she’s not able to tell him no ?? Girl you can be horny AND have a spine, I promise it’s not THAT hard !!!
They fell for each other way too fast and without any real reason, just because ??

This is a well written, raw, gritty, and powerful, action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family dynamics, tension, drama, lies, danger, intrigue, enemies / lovers, morally gray, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, and unpredictable, dark mafia romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Sienna is made to marry upon the death of her brothers. A marriage to the Volkovs will prevent further war. Kaz has revenge in mind, and marrying Sienna will allow him to destroy her piece by piece.
She is not what he expected. They also had one interaction prior to their marriage - with no names. Her response of “You’re no better than my brother. I survived the,. I’ll survive you, too.” makes it clear she has not lead the pampered life he had supposed.
Emotional, scintillating, gritty and wonderful. The characters come to life, and the struggle jumps off the page. Ms. Stone proves why she is a favorite of mine.

I have been anticipating Kaz and Sienna’s story as the sinner series has evolved and with most reluctant and youngest brother about to meet his arranged bride to end the rivalry between the Volkov and The DeAngelos…
Sienna is nothing like her brother’s and in wanting to have nothing with her mafia family until she is manipulated into marrying Kaz.
The attraction between them is off the charts when both decide to have a last time fling as strangers only to be surprised when they meet face to face at the wedding…
Loved the suspense and steam between Kaz and Sienna and this is so far my favourite book of the series..

Sienna’s family has never been the close-knit kind, nor even the kind to her type, as she was treated cruelly for years until she made a life for herself. When she is forced back into this life with an arranged marriage her life is utterly flipped upside down. Kaz went into this marriage thinking o f revenge until he gets to know Sienna more and more. He would do anything to protect her even if it drives her insane at times, but watching these two together was so much fun. The twists just kept coming, seeing Kaz soften for her melted my heart, and watching him with her nephew was top notch. It was an action packed, steamy good read that I devoured.

How fitting is it that Kaz finally has a genuine interest in a stranger he meets at the club. One night of fun was all it was supposed to be. For both of them. Except he can’t stop thinking about her. Wanting her. But he goes through with his obligation to his family. His plan for revenge gets put in motion. Or does it? What an amazing story. You can’t help but feel for Sienna. She’s beyond innocent in their war. Just as much a victim as Elana. Her family is truly evil. Every last one of them except her. She finally has the chance to leave them all behind.
And last but not least is Elana’s story. I have a feeling this will be a bumpy ride. And I can’t wait!

Intense, dark, sexy! The story of Sienna DeAngelo and Kaz Volkov is disturbing, he killed her three brothers and he must marry her to keep the peace and stop a full out mafia war. The night before the big event, they both go for a last night of liberty and end up in the same club where they meet and have a last fling. The next day, they will both have the surprise of their lives and the revenge Kaz has planned is now changed. The intensity of their attraction and the lenghts Kaz will go to to protect her is unbelievable. I would say this is the best revenge plan I have seen!

Enjoyable, dark, decadent story that kept me helplessly enveloped!! Kaz is deliciously dark and dominant. Sienna is feisty and unapologetic. They are quite a pair!! Thoroughly entertaining read!!

If you want a story that will leave you feeling completely contented, that is full of passion, family dynamics and a lovely little boy, this is it. Sienna is not your typical mafia daughter, in fact she despises her family and did not shed a tear when her brothers were killed. Kaz is a little more mercurial, but he learns that Sienna is not working against him and falls for her in a big way. This is a book you won’t want to put down and I wanted it to go on forever.

Loved it! I must say that my heart went out to Sienna and what she endured with her despicable family. Sienna and Kaz were perfect for one another. I liked seeing Kaz thaw as the story progressed and how he stepped up when needed. An enjoyable read that I devoured quickly. A great well written mafia read! I’d highly recommend.

I love Book #5 in the Vicious Sinners series and I could not put it down, it's so well written it becomes addicting. So much emotions in this one I love Kaz and Sienna and boy does she hold her own.
I loved how everything unraveled, lies, deception and then the truth. These to are insanely hot and perfection. I loved it.

I was waiting impatiently for this book to be released.
It didn't disappoint but it also lacked in some areas for me. A tad too fast paced, things left unsaid or explored, and typos (in my kindle version at least).
I really enjoyed Sienna's character. She was a spitfire. Her friend, Kara, was too.
The spicy scenes were good. My favorite was their first one.
