Good follow-up to the first book in the series and I liked how Nakagawa further enhanced Nonoka's and Watarase's relationship. Plus, I really liked how Nonoka is able to develop into her own person by using her love of comedy to help those around her. Given how things turned out in this book, I don't want to spoil anything but I thought it was a good sequel and I'm excited to see what's next for Nonoka and Watarase.
I loved seeing how inspired Nonoka was by Watarse and how she felt he had made so many lives feel brighter because of how he had made people laugh at their performances. That led to her wanting to change her way of thinking about saying how she is always out of his league and not having the confidence to voice her feelings, which in turn led her to join the comedy club!
Now, I'll mention right off the bat, I didn't like the second male lead. Dude is a jerk, even if he had "good reasons" for why he was treating her and other women so rudely. I don't care if he protected her later on or not, he's still mean! :p
However, Watarse totally shined! Plus, could his own feelings for Nono be any more obvious?! The way he RAN to help her was everything and totally squealed!! I don't think Nono is too far-fetched in thinking that he only smiles like that for her! EEEEPPP!!
