Dr. Sean Arrington loves his family, patients, and the ladies. With no interest in settling down with one woman, he dates women—who like him—just want to have fun with no commitment and no strings attached—unless they like being tied up. Literally. However, when he lands his eyes on the cute-dimpled, quirky botanist Traci Reed, something tugs at his heart and he figures rules can be broken. Traci has been infatuated with the rivetingly handsome bad boy since his mother showed her Sean’s picture a few years ago. When he asks her to design the gardens in his backyard, Traci can’t refuse. After they share a heated first kiss, she can’t believe Sean actually has feelings for her. She’s drawn to his smooth charisma and intellect; however, she’s cautious for she knows he prefers his bachelor lifestyle. Can Sean prove to Traci she’s his kind of girl after all?
Candace Shaw writes romance novels because she believes that happily-ever-after isn’t found only in fairy tales. When she’s not writing or researching information for a book, you can find Candace in her gardens, shopping, reading or learning how to cook a new dish.
She lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her loving husband and is currently working on her next fun, flirty and sexy romance.
Love this family. Sean and Traci's story was very sweet. Even tho the story was a little rushed it was well worth it. Sean was definitely my kind of man.
Another great book by a great author by the name of Candace Shaw. The relationship between Traci & Sean was endearing and pure. I would recommend this book to all of my family and friends. Got it this morning and finished this afternoon. Couldn't put it down.
Wow! This was my kind of book. Mrs. Shaw you did an awesome job. This was a beautiful love story about two people that deserved each other. You had me a little nervous about the outcome towards the end of the book!! Want a wonderful story! I will add this book to the list of books that I read over and over again!!! Great job !!!
Hate to see this series end, but it was a dayum good one. From the beginning to the end they all got better and better. I can't wait to see what the author will come up with next.
I enjoyed reading about Sean and Traci! It amazed me how bold the previous women in Sean's life are! Models! Seems they all felt entitled! I loved how close this family is! I feel everyone who reads this book will enjoy it! I definitely recommend this book/series to everyone!
I love Candace Shaw's writing style. Sean's bachelor lifestyle is quickly turned upside down and he experiences the one thing he never thought he would. I could not put the book down. I found myself laughing, crying, and touched as the story unfolded. I highly recommended this love story.
This is a very good book I read all five books. A must read series. I really enjoyed all five books. Book one all the way up to book 5 was very interested. Get your copy you want go wrong.
Well they say all good things must come to an end. Well this series could have continued, but does it under another series name, with some the characters continuing in that new series. I’ll be looking!
Sean knew what type of woman he wanted and he chose Traci. I love a man with a little OCD. Traci has good character and Sean recognized it. They have wonderful chemistry. This e-book is highly recommended.
Loved Traci and Sean's book. Sean had a very interesting past and some of his female "kicking it" partners were outrageous, but when struck by love, even the staunchest bachelor doesn't stand a chance. I enjoyed the entire series.
I have fallen in love with Candace’s style of writing and telling a story. Her books are sensual, sexy, but most of all, about falling in love with you’re soulmate.
Good book! Traci & Sean's love was real and very entertaining to read about. I'm sad that the series has ended. Can't wait to read more from the author.
The last couple of chapter's where a let down,I did not like we're my characters we're heading I did not like the ending .and I want more for my characters.
What a great series ending, the author creates a beautiful storyline. The characters are endearing and makes me sad that the ending of an enjoyable family.
I've been keeping up with this series since it's birth, and it has remained a generally sweet read. In the age of romance writers serving up sex on a platter (not that I don't enjoy that!), it's refreshing to have something like this to read. In this installment, she gives us a quintessential "bachelor takedown." The rich boy with carefree lifestyle and the mousy girl who thinks she'd never stand a chance. A cute meet, a meddling mother, and a match made in romance heaven. We get to spend a nice amount of time watching them dance around the attraction--which I loved!-- we see him conflicted about his feelings, and ultimately give in to them, and we see her blossom into someone who throws caution into the wind. My one criticism about this book is it was almost too contrived and predictable (especially the situation that causes them to fall out just when things are getting good). I know how these stories will end, but I'd like to be a little surprised at how it gets there.
You get to learn more about Sean and recognize that opposites have a way of attracting. Thus the relationship between Sean and Traci. Traci is that lovable carefree person who is passionate about her work which is similar to Sean. Sean is a great listener with a loyal heart. It was good to see their love story unfold and see how they recognized their turning point. Every relationship has its challenges and Sean and Traci had theirs, but in the end love prevailed. I liked this story because it compliments my idea of everyone deserves happiness, and it comes in the less likely places. Well done Candace
My Kind of Girl was an awesome fifth book in this series. I fell in love with Sean the moment I began reading the story. His tenderness towards his mother let me know what kind of man he would be. I loved the way the story progressed, and the romance was off the chain. I love all the books in this series, but, I would have to say that this one is my favorite. Good job Ms. Shaw and Kudos to you. This was an excellent ending to the Arrington's. (Hint: a follow up story of the family would be great
While Sean worked at the family practice he was a psychologist and confirmed bachelor. As is often said, when someone like that falls, they fall hard and fast. On the surface Traci seemed to be the total opposite of the type of woman for Sean, when in reality she was just what he needed. This HEA for the last of the Arrington siblings was a joy to read.
I love the Arrington family, educated, serve the community, family oriented and they love hard. Dr Sean Arrington is no different. A self-proclaimed playboy until he meets botanist Traci Reed. There's something about her that tugs at his heart and makes him think about giving up his bachelor status.
This was a sweet story. This is the first of the series that I read and will read the next one. Don't feel the need to read the first four as I feel like I know the characters just being reading g this book.
Candace Shaw writes a sensual love novel about a bachelor falling in love. My Kind of Girl is the last book about the Arrington siblings. Love this series, tears because the end was very touching.
My Kind Of Girl, loved it. Wow Traci girl I am not at you. Sean was so into you he threw away his cell phone with all of his Extra-curricular activity it, had the model leave his house when you were there.
Now on to read about Sean's cousin Tiffani Chase "The Sweetest Kiss".
I enjoyed the story and I liked that she kept us updated on the other characters we have come to like from previous books. Now I can't wait to read Zaria and Garrett's story.
