So excited for this ARC review! Kendall and Dane are two people just looking for a connection. Once they find each other though Dane realizes that Kendall is someone he never wants to let go. Kendall is a no nonsense FMC that owns her own business. (She expands her salon to have a spa and she had me at Himalayan Salt Cave lol) I love a strong FMC that knows who she is and refuses to let others change her. Dane is an over protective MMC that just pulls at the heartstrings. These two were perfect together and any story with a meddling Grams is just perfect to me. If you’re a fan of insta-lust to a love connection this one is definitely for you. Thank you J. J. Hart for this ARC!

I couldn’t get enough of this book! Dane and Kendall are a couple whose love story you root for from the beginning. This was raw, emotional and the MCs were so dedicated to their relationship. The spice was perfect and the storyline was addicting!

WOW!!!
I couldn't put this book down, clearly as I read it in 1 day. This book pulled me in from the very beginning.
Kendall is a salon owner who is working to get the spa portion of the salon opened and has 3 amazing best girlfriends. Dane is an attorney who works with his brother at their father's law firm. Dane is your typical one night stand guy, never sees the girl again. And Kendall has been single for a few years now, after a situation happened in her past.
One Friday evening the girls go out and Kendall sees a man who can't take his eyes of her and she can't take her eyes of him. This man is Dane. She enjoys her evening with him and doesn't believe she'll ever see or hear from him again. Dane, on the other hand, cannot get Kendall off his mind and thinks she is different than any other woman. He becomes a knight in shining armor, in a way for her. Is she a fan of it? Not in so many ways.
He doesn't back down in pursuing her. What they both don't realize, they have a person in common who is also trying to get them together.
Both Kendall and Dane have pasts that affect them emotionally and they are both still healing from. Maybe they can help heal each other.
I loved the protectiveness that Dane has and the passion that Kendall has towards her salon and spa. I loved the magnetism between these two. It's hot right from the start, then you get a little bit of a slowness and it picks right backup.

A few weeks ago I was kindly selected to ARC read Wanting you by @jjhartauthor - This is the second book in The Saxville Sweetheart Series (an interconnected standalone)✨ I LOVED this book, it was such a beautiful easy read!🫶🏼 I loved Dane and Kendall’s relationship from the very beginning. Their connection was so strong from the very start to the last page. What I loved the most about this book was how emotionally captivating it was, and how two people are learning to trust and love again after their own emotional painful past.❤️
Another thing that I also loved about this book was that their romance felt abit quick but NEVER rushed and it was the perfect balance. To have a perfect balance and good pacing in a book is something that always ticks my boxes! It makes for such a better reading experience!✨
Last but certainly not least the spice!!🌶️🌶️ it was absolute perfection!

Kendall is a strong, independent woman who was jaded from a bad ex, and she all but swore off relationships in favor of her true love: building her business.
In comes Dane, the hot lawyer who takes up space both in body size and in Kendall’s thoughts while they’re out at a bar. Mr. One-Night-Stand Only is about to be challenged, and he knows it.
From the very first chapter, I knew their chemistry was going to be explosive, and the spice started nice and early (chapter 3)!🔥
Kendall’s walls slowly break down when she realizes Dane is nothing like her ex, even though some of his actions have her thinking otherwise at times. The best thing about these interactions? COMMUNICATION!! They open up to and understand where each other is coming from, and this allows them to build a beautiful relationship together.

Wanting You was such a swoony, romantic read! Dane was everything I love in a MMC—protective without being controlling, and always respecting Kendall’s wishes. He struck that perfect balance of strength and tenderness, and honestly had me melting the whole time. 😍
Kendall was just as amazing! I loved how confident she was in who she is, while still being open enough to fall hard for Dane. Their chemistry was off the charts, and I couldn’t stop turning the pages.
The writing was fast-paced and engaging, exactly the style I adore, and it made this such a bingeable book. I flew through it and now I can’t wait to see what J.J. Hart writes next. So grateful I got to be on this ARC team and experience this story early—it was such a treat! 💕

I love it when you get to dive right into a great insta-love romance. both the FMC and MMC are awesome. Kendall is a no nonsense type of woman whose expanding her business and she's not really looking to get into another relationship after her last one.
Dane is a high powered lawyer that's kind of a game player.
so Kendall doesn't really think twice about him after their one night stand. but he can't forget her.
a meddling gram puts the two of them in each other's sights lol. gotta love grams.
but overall this was a great story. they both had pasts and they fought to stay together after they gave in to one another. I think that's the best kind of relationship. if it's worth fighting for then definitely fight for it.

Kendall, a stylist and salon owner, meets Dane, a high-powered defense attorney at a bar and he gives her the key to his hotel room. What they thought would just be a one-night stand turned into an unforgettable night that neither of them were expecting.
Both of them were hurt in previous relationships. Kendall had a manipulative ex-boyfriend with a restraining order and Dane had a cheating ex-girlfriend. Together, Kendall and Dane were able to heal and find love together.

I liked how Dane was always there for Kendall—protective, supportive, even helping her get her permit the Monday after they met. Honestly, I want a Dane in my life! 🥹
What really stood out to me was how the author portrayed Dane’s struggle with trust after his past relationship—it felt so raw and relatable. I also loved Kendall’s friends and how they always rallied around her.
This was a ⭐️3.75 read for me, with a solid 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 spice rating.

Wanting you is the story of Kendall and Dane, two people who have loved the wrong people and it cost them their peace. Kendall is a strong independent business owner and Dane is a one night stand kind of guy who turns into something she couldn’t imagine. If this doesn’t teach you to listen to your grandmother, I don’t know what will! This was a fun read that also pulls at your heart strings with a couple of different situations but it’s a good ride. I found myself wanting to reach for this and being disappointed because my actual life got in the way.

This book was honestly so sweet! Dane had always been the one-night-stand type, but the second he met Kendall, everything changed. One night wasn’t nearly enough, and I loved watching his obsession slowly turn into something real and lasting. Their romance felt fast at times, but never rushed.
I also really enjoyed the side characters. Kendall’s group of girlfriends were such a strong support system, and Dane’s brother and grandmother added so much heart.
Overall, this was such a fun, heartfelt read for me. Definitely a solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!!!!

Our FMC owns the hair salon in town, and after a few years, she is ready to expand her operations to include spa services. She loves being a part of her small town, especially after her dangerous and narcissistic ex. Our MMC is a defense attorney who is hiding from a past relationship by burying himself in work. When they meet at a bar and hook up, it should just be that, but do they really want that? With the help of a meddling grandma, they reconnect and see if they can work through their pasts, together.

I was hooked on Kendall and Dane right away. Their chemistry was explosive and gave me all the swoony vibes. Kendall was such a strong, independent woman, full of confidence but still open to love. Dane was protective, respectful, and caring in a way that melted me completely. What I loved the most was how they communicated, and how they broke down each other’s walls. I devoured it fast,, and I didn’t want to stop. Thank you so much to the author for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving an honest review.

If you've visited Saxville previously (Remembering You), you will remember our feisty salon owner Kendall. She doesn't need anyone else to complete her. She has a successful salon (and is expanding it), her own beautiful home, a great car and 3 FANTASTIC ride or die friends who will do anything for her (and she would do the same for them). A fun one night stand with local attorney Dane is just what she (and he) needs. No strings attached is perfect. Until it isn't...for both of them. They both have baggage that threatens to tear them apart before they've even had a chance. A great romance with fireworks.

What a fun book. When a one night stand leads to more, Kendall isn’t prepared to feel so strongly for Dane who is a one night stand kind of guy. Their story has the full gambit of emotions from insecurity and distrust to joy and protectiveness. Neither of them planned to fall in love or find happiness but the universe had plans for them.
I loved both Kendall’s strength and vulnerability throughout this story.
This was a very fun read with the right amount of tension and situations to overcome to make you want to keep turning the pages and not out the book down.

I received an ARC for Holding you. So I decided to go back and read from the beginning and im so glad I did.

Dang i don't know where to begin. Kendall was awesome she was strong, confident, independent, sassy as he'll and unapologetically herself. Dane never tried change her.
Dane was protective, alittle cocky, he was perfect for Kendall.
These two meet one night thinking it will only be one night but things change quickly. They have an instant connection. These two we're ment to be. Can't wait for the next book.

When a book is going to be perfect you know from the very first word and this book started off on a high and continued all the way through. Dane and Kendall were so good together. This book had it all and it started with a one night stand but there was an instant attraction between the characters. The story was fast paced, exactly how I like it, and the storyline held your attention and drew you in. Dane will make you swoon with all his romantic ways so hang on for a wild ride.

This has got to be one of the cutest books I’ve read this year. Dane and Kendall are so sweet, I love Kendall’s no nonsense attitude as well as Dane’s protective personality. The book has fab characters, a great plot and enough spice to keep me happy. Huge shout out to Grams for being the best side character ever!

Wanting you was a perfect addition to the Saxville Sweetheart’s series! In the first book, we get to see little peaks about Kendall and Dane’s relationship, so I loved getting to see how things started!
