1938. Mississippi’s Gulf Coast. An abandoned manor whispers secrets best left alone…
When Maggie dares to enter the dilapidated DuMond Manor on Cat Island, she awakens something she cannot escape. Each night, her dreams grow darker, pulling her deeper into a haunting that feels all too real.
Desperate, she turns to Carson Jacobs—better known to his nationwide radio audience as Mr. Mystery—agrees to help her uncover the truth. But the deeper they search, the more dangerous the hauntings become… and the harder it is to ignore the spark between them.
Part Southern Gothic ghost story, part slow-burn romance, The Cursed Keepsake blends eerie suspense with Old Hollywood-style chemistry. Will faith and courage be enough to face what lurks inside DuMond Manor? Or will Maggie and Carson become part of its tragic legacy?
Perfect for fans of gothic romance, historical mysteries, and ghostly tales that keep you reading long past midnight.
I loved the story, it keep me reading way into the night. I was introduced to this book by my grandson Jon Tullos who is a student at the Magnet School that Mrs Pouliot is at.
An amazing debut novel by the author. The Cursed Keepsake is layered with emotional depth, richly drawn characters, and vivid imagery. It shows the power of relationships while offering reverence to the fear of the unknown.
