Had me hooked! I absolutely loved this book! It was hard to put down from the very first page. The characters were engaging, and the perfect blend of love, mystery, and humor kept me hooked until the end.

I really enjoyed the story! I thought the FMC was funny. The MMC was someone I would consider to be a great fictional boyfriend. I would not say that the MMC is a lot of the times what some women get when they’ve gone through something traumatic and deal with anxiety and fear. I did not think that MMC was over the top and you could tell how love conquered FMC’s trauma responses. I do think the book holds mystery but I feel the novel was more focused on the effects of trauma and how love really can conquer all. I did enjoy the different points of view and I think the author did really well with being consistent with the characters. I really liked the care the author put into making sure there were no grammatical errors. I don’t normally care if there are, but I appreciate the effort! Highly recommend to anyone. Just make sure to read the trigger warning! Spice I rated as a 2.5, but this book did not lose interest because spice wasn’t in it.

Panicked is a raw, introspective journey of fear, identity and love. From the moment I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. It hooked me on the page ONE. Hargrove captures fear as more than a simple threat…it’s lingering! It’s a perfect combination of suspense, romance, humor, drama, and action. Do yourself a favor and READ this one!! You won’t regret it!!!

I liked it! I thought it would be more of a thriller due to the title and cover; however, as the story progressed I finally caught the meaning of the title. Clever! Definitely a story of healing through life altering trauma. I kinda wish there was more POV from the kidnapper, but that’s the thriller lover in me.

It’s a great debut novel. I’d read a prequel of their story for sure.
