not a good book
Book is terrible. Repetitive and not even believable. First half of the book went on and one about how male lead messed up. Could cut it in half if author got rid of repetitive items. Spent 7.99 and was a waste. Wouldn’t read anything else from author if it was free.

First book by this author, but it was nicely written.
Loveloni believed the day she married Eric Johnson, love was supposed to last forever. But forever shattered the moment she uncovered the truth.
You get right to the point, as the book starts with Loveloni witnessing the betrayal by her Husband, Eric. She asks for a divorce and quickly moves herself and her son from the toxic relationship.
Along the way, you are taken on a journey with Eric as he tries to piece his life back together and get his family back...you are given insight into how they met and their relationship through his eyes during therapy.
You are in for a treat with this, as this author gave a huge backstory for him.
I will say that this is a very long grovel story with a speedy ending. I wish that there could have been more of his groveling with Loveloni in person and not just the mention of him groveling...

New Author
First book I’ve read by this author…loved the character backstory and development. Kept it real…only suggestion I have is some editing to get the nanny’s name consistent throughout the book. Starts as Debra, turns into Brenda and back to Debra before ending with Brenda.
Look forward to future books by this author.

Good Story
Such a great story even though the ending was meh for me. The MMC redemption fell flat in my honest opinion. He effectively cut his wife and child out of his life with a zero effs to give! The fact he burned their pics (wife & son) at the fire pit with his adultery partner and had relations while the pics burned with the OW is crazy to me that the FMC would EVER take him back, regardless of his therapy treatment!
It's just not believable for me. Not to mention how the FMC ended up preggers thru manipulation the first time and marital rape the second time. The author didn't expand on these topics too much, but it just shows how selfish and narcissistic the MMC truly was towards his family.
One of the issues I had with the story is the Nanny's name mix up Debra/Brenda, that irked me to no end!
All things considered, the story kept me intrigued, it was an easy read and a good plot.

Emotionally gripping
This story is written to ease you into accepting the various transitions required to frankly while peacefully move you through the grace to allow change in the characters. Love is hard while lessons strengthen us. Good story.

Needs to be revised - is it Debra or is it Brenda the nanny.

I enjoyed the story line and the out come. I really appreciate the strong female in this as well. A very good read.

The nanny’s name changed from Debra to Brenda and Maria. The nanny was the same person. The husband was an ahole.
