Aishwarya: The Prince's Brown Bride

Rate this book
On the wedding altar, before the sacred flames, Princess Aishwarya of Songarh is tied to a man she's never seen, never heard of, let alone met, in a political alliance in the name of marriage.

Untouched by the immoral shadows and wickedness of society, Aishwarya is suppressed in the grindstone of her everyday routine, marked as a misfortune since birth, and tarnished for having a shade darker than others. Her own blood discriminates against her in a manner no enemy could conceive. And the bitterest, cruellest irony is, she believes this to be her life and even her future.

When injustice befalls the naïve and the pure of heart, a justice so prudent emerges and frees them from it. And Ranvijay Dev Singh, Prince of Suryagarh, is that justice to Aishwarya.

A man of few words, sharp-witted and reserved, Ranvijay is a thoughtful prince who carries a quiet power in every syllable, capable of tearing down arrogance with a single remark. He is scholarly yet deeply romantic, a true gentleman yet fervently passionate.

Intertwined with Ranvijay, Aishwarya never knew he was the liberation she had been seeking. Behind all the insults and oppression she faces lies a girl who has the latent ability to change the state of a kingdom, but she herself is unaware of it.

If anything transcends rules and regulations in a relationship, it is love, which is not required to form a marriage, but grants freedom within it. And she does. In his presence, she finds the freedom to discover herself and the gentle light to grow into her own.

Though a prince and princess by birth, they never truly knew the taste of royalty. He, a prince bound by duty; she, a princess ensnared by her self-doubts. Despite being bound, one’s duty grants the other freedom for a lifetime.

This is the story of a princess once ignored, avoided, and isolated, who transforms into the financial pillar of her new family.

Join the journey of Aishwarya, the prince’s brown bride, as she rises to become the first businesswoman in Suryagarh.

I absolutely devoured this book,I thought Rudra Nandani was my best read of 2025 but Aishwarya just topped everything.

The story begins with Ranvijay & Aishwarya’s arrange marriage where he hasn’t seen her face or met her before marriage.Ranvijay is handsome well built 25 year old man & Aishwarya is 19 year old brown skinned thin girl.

Aishwarya has insecurities about her body, about her skin tone & she’s shy.She enters the kingdom thinking nobody gonna like her specifically her handsome husband.

Ranvijay is the shy guy who never spoke to girls and was not so shy with Aishwarya later🤤.

The way Ranvijay was with Aishwarya, let me tell you he’s a kind a guy you surely want to marry & grow old with,he was the green forest.I surely want a guy like him in my life because my character is like Aishwarya.

The way Ranvijay explained everything to her without getting irritated even a single time ,without making fun of her ,the way she was always asking questions & the way he was always answering questions patiently without getting annoyed or irritated, ughhh author just raised my standards much more.

Also the little things where he started feeding her because she seemed to eat little & that thing continued with them, eating in one plate him feeding her.

There are so many scenes I loved, the little moments they shared ,little details which made me go awwwe.

First scene was him kissing her feet in first meet😭🤌🏻.
Him giving his mother’s bangle to her🌹.
The ink scene where she got ink on her lips while writing & panicked thinking what will people say ,he took ink & smudged on his lips to calm her(the small gesture🤌🏻).
How can I forget scroll scene now it’s not manhood for me it’s a scroll🤣.
Then the way he behaved in her father’s kingdom, made others wife to sit with their husband to eat & that little revenge he took on behalf of his wife.
The scene where he drew Mehendi on her hands, when she was tired asleep & couldn’t do it,He did not know how to draw it but he saw random things & took inspire from it and drew it on her hands, the way he gently removed her ornaments before drawing it to make her feel ease even though his body was aching after everything 🤌🏻.
The cutest scene was when there was something Aishwarya did & she wrote a letter to him,she said him that he forgot about everything & went like you wrote a letter baby am so proud of you(sir how can you be so perfect)(stop raising my standards 😭).
There are so many more scenes I don’t want to give spoilers.
Ranvijay was a cutie😭.
The amount of time he called her baby my sanity gave up😭.
Also him pulling her through her waist chain was like most fav one’s😭.
Ranvijay is officially my husband 😤.

I really loved the way Aishwarya’s character developed, the way everyone around her helped her specifically Ranvijay always pushing her to do what she is good at,always patiently teaching her stuffs, how he got rid of her insecurities & made her beautiful strong women. The way he was so proud about her achievements. The fucking green forest.

I also loved the bond between Aishwarya & Nandani ,she was so patient with Aishwarya whenever she got curious & asked questions. She was her true sister, the way they supported each other was my fav thing to read.

I have always read a book with chubby girls & guys loving them giving them world ,Never came across a book where a thin girl like me will relate. This book was so relatable to me ,the insults she faced ,the insecurities she had about her appearance, her colour everything was so relatable.

THIS BOOK WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVOURITE INDIAN HISTORICAL ROMANCE BOOK<333
I read this book a year or two ago on Wattpad and now seeing this book being published in paperback makes me so happy! This book will always be special to me, it'll always be close to my heart. It was written beautifully. Though I might not remember every minute detail of this book, I still remember the excitement and happiness it gave me. The man RANVIJAY DEV SINGH IS!!! He is such a gentleman! And my baby AISHWARYA, so innocent and timid and cute. Both of them are so precious to me. While reading the book i never for once felt that it's fictional and being an Indian, I understood everything quite well. I'll never love other Indian historical fiction books like I love this one! Every woman needs a man like Ranvijay! The way he is so patient and supportive with her just makes me swoon over him. I wish we could have men like him in today's world, or who knows? There already might be. The character development of Aishwarya throughout the book was phenomenal! And the romance was cherry on top. The bond between their family was adorable. The best part was how Ranvijay removed all her insecurities, how he made her confident, how he healed her, how he made her independent, how he never took benefit of her innocence, how he was always patient, supportive, calm, polite, respectful, reserved and all the other good things. He never made fun of her excitement and always respected her boundaries. He never forced her to do anything. I know this might be the bare minimum, but men like him are rare nowadays. So, all I can do is hope that I'll get to see a version of Ranvijay in my man. Till then I'll just cherish this fictional man who stole my heart years back and still has handled it carefully with such care and love. Thank you, Aishwarya and Ranvijay Dev Singh for raising my standards and for explaining me how married relationships should be. Thank you author for giving us such lovable characters. All the best for your future journey. This book has all my love and best wishes!

one of the best book
The main person in the story is Aishwarya. She is kind, very smart, and a wonderful person. However, Aishwarya lives in a society where many people believe that light skin is the only way to be truly beautiful. Because of these unfair beliefs, Aishwarya often feels sad and unsure of herself because of her naturally brown skin.

The author, does a fantastic job of showing Aishwarya’s internal struggles. You feel everything she feels. The book is important because it talks about a real problem called colorism, which is when people are treated unfairly based on the shade of their skin

The excitement begins when the handsome and charming Prince Ranvijay comes into her life. Ranvijay is different. He does not care about old, meaningless rules about beauty. He looks past the outside and sees Aishwarya’s true worth—her loving heart, her sharp mind, and her strong spirit.

He makes a brave choice he chooses Aishwarya to be his princess.

This decision causes a lot of drama in the kingdom. People are shocked, and many in the royal court wanted the Prince to pick someone else. The book shows how Aishwarya handles this public pressure. She has to learn to stand tall against the mean things people say and, most importantly, she has to fight her own feeling and desires that she is not good enough.

The romance between Aishwarya and Prince Ranvijay is beautiful and respectful. The Prince's loyalty and belief in her is encouraging. But the most powerful part of the story is Aishwarya’s personal journey. It’s about her learning that she doesn't need anyone else's approval to be worthy of love.

The book is a really sweet, beautiful and important story that is very easy to read and understand. It is more than just a fairy tale it is a book with a big heart and a great message about colorism
I love this book so much and most importantly everything written by M lovely is masterpiece

If you enjoy a love story that also gives you a boost of self-confidence and challenges unfair ideas about beauty, you should pick up this book.

OKAY, I'M NOT OKAY. 😭 I love Ranvijay so much because what do you mean he kisses her feet? 😭 He is the standard. 😭

Okay, now let's talk about the book. 😭

So the story starts with Aishwarya; she is intelligent, kind-hearted, and incredibly strong. She faced so many challenges while she was growing up because of her dark skin tone; literally, her own sister used to talk about it and used to take advantage of her innocence. Because of these things, Aishwarya often questions her own worth and struggles with insecurity about her natural brown skin.

This story talks about Aishwarya’s emotions. Her pain, her doubts, and her feelings. This book highlights how colourism and deep prejudice can affect someone’s confidence and identity.

Things begin to change when Prince Ranvijay enters her life. He never treated her like her own family used to, and he never treated her like she didn't deserve anything. Instead, he recognises Aishwarya for who she truly is: her kindness, her intelligence, and her beauty. He used to explain to her, he helped her to learn, and he stood with her in every step of hers and motivated her that she's capable of doing everything she wants. (This touches my heart.)

The relationship between Aishwarya and Prince Ranvijay is touching. She was the first woman who took his heart. She was home to him. She was everything to him. Which makes me think why he is not ready 😭, and he was everything she was looking for. Ranvijay gave her love, respect and a place to hide at lowest, and this is what makes the book best. This book gave me a great message: even if you think that you don't deserve anyone, there will be someone who always wants to worship you for who you are.

🥰❤️I Loved the Book❤️🥰....My God RANVIJAY😘aka HUKUM🙈😚...The man he is🤌🤌✨✨I Trulyyy love him♥️...
Aishwarya~The Prince's Brown Bride is a deeply emotional and character driven story about...Aishwarya..The princess of Songarh who was unloved by her own family and treated like a curse.. 😞 For simply being darker than otherss she was ignored and deprived of the love that she deserved 🥺🥺.... And What completely broke me 💔😭was how she believed every bit of it that she was unworthy of love and happiness 🤧🤧Until she met RANVIJAY DEV SINGH🥰🥰...The prince of Suryagarh...and found her forever home, faith, love and purpose in a marriage which she never chose but was trulyy destined for 🤗🤗...
Ranvijay is a man of few words, sharp intelligence and patient but most importantly a man of true gentleness 💗💗... Ranvijay didn't try to change her... he gave her space...emotional support and stood beside her quietly and patiently whispering, " I am with you always...you will never be alone"..Not grand gestures but pure and unconditional faith🤌✨...With him Aishwarya who was once afraid to look up at him begins to breath for the first time😊😊..she learned to speak without any fear🥹🥹... And started accepting herself the way she is all because he believed in her more than she ever believed in herself 💖💖

"I don't want anyone's eyes on me except yours."

Oh my baby, Aishu. I read this book while it was still ongoing on Wattpad, and I remember messaging M on Instagram how much I adore them, and honestly, I love the author too.

Our FMC is a dark skinned princess. She is insecure about her color, malnourished body, and illiteracy. On the other hand, MMC is a tall, fair-skinned prince, the second in command, and the most introverted of his brothers. He and his brothers have been through hell, and you all must read their books, too.

But this book is super close to my heart. For a long while, and probably even still, I was highly insecure about my weight, the fat rolls, or even the discoloration mixed with eczema on my face. It took me years to heal myself, and I can not imagine what Aish was thinking or feeling at that time.

This book is about breaking stereotypes with kindness and knowledge. It shows how little we teach our children about physical relationships, consent, or even aftercare. Aishwarya discovers each step of desire through her marriage, questioning and wanting to learn about topics. Once a neglected child, she is beyond loved by her husband. Their need to stay close, talk for endless hours, and be honest with each other showcased the beauty of a marriage.

Absolutely loved it.

I’m so in love with this book. It pulled me in from the very first chapter with its soft, emotional writing and the way the characters slowly open up to each other. The feelings in this story hit in a very gentle but powerful way, the kind that stays with you even after you stop reading. There were moments that genuinely made my heart feel warm, and the author’s style makes every scene feel personal and heartfelt. It’s the kind of read that leaves you smiling to yourself without even realizing it.

This story pulls you into its world through its softness, calmness and boldness. There are so many beautiful moments and funny moments I loved in this book but the one where Aishwarya asks Ranvijay for his seeds to get pregnant is so funny and cute too. I love how Ranvijay treats Aishwarya with so much love and respect even though their marriage was a political alliance and he was not ready to marry anyone, he never let her feel unwanted and unloved or disrespected. Aishwarya too is such a beautiful, soft and innocent soul anyone could die for her me too 😭❤️✨

Written by Magical Lovely as part of the MHU (Magical Lovely History Universe).
The novel deals with the characters Aishwarya and Ranvijay.
There is too much innocent fmc and all known mmc.
Medium-paced, good, and tastefully positioned smut
Medium spice level.
Read in six days. It took a long time to get out of a slump.
The book is 559 pages lengthy and has decent writing and a satisfying finish.
Story in brief:
Aishwarya, the princess of Songarh, marries Prince Ranvijay of Suryagarh.
The novel largely focusses with Aishwarya's issues (for being brown, not very confident, and silent), such as how she overcomes them and matures into a new and confident Aishwarya from an insecure Aishwarya.
Ranvijay, loving her and taking baby steps in their relationship, helps Aishwarya overcome her anxieties and everything.
A little misunderstanding in the pre-climax, which is resolved in a few pages.
The novel mostly focusses on the character development of Aishwarya.
By the end, they fully explore each other and take the next step in their relationship.
Give it a try; it's a decent read.
