Sixteen-year-old Abigail has lost her parents, her home, and the life she loved. Sent to live with distant relatives in London, she finds herself in an old familiar house. It creaks with strange noises, shadows move in the night, and golden dust clings to her hands as though the past hasn’t quite let go.
Then he appears.
Peter Pan. Not the boy from bedtime tales, but older, sharper — and hiding a secret behind the one rule he won’t she must never touch him.
Drawn into his world of flight, fairies, and endless adventure, Abigail longs to see Neverland. But when Peter finally relents, the truth is nothing like the stories. Neverland is darker now, its magic fraying at the edges. Pirates are crueler, mermaids hungrier, and at its heart is the boy she is falling impossibly in love with.
But Peter’s shadows are catching up to him.
In order to save him, Abigail must uncover the truth of why Peter Pan grew up—and decide whether she’s willing to risk her heart, her life, and perhaps her place in the story itself.
Not all magic is friendly, And in Neverland, love is the most dangerous magic of all.

I don't even know where to begin. This book was absolute perfection. It's whimsical and wonderful while tackling very real emotions. I finished it in one day, and I'm sad that it's over.
Action, adventure, love, friendships, grief, heartache, family, magic, mischief. All the things and so much more.
Kelly does a phenomenal job bringing Peter and Abigail to life. I had butterflies the entire time I was reading. I will definitely be reading it again.
It is young adult with zero spice, and it doesn't need any spice. I don't even recall any cuss words. It's perfect for pre-teens to grandmothers.
I loved this Peter Pan retelling. It was from Abigail’s, or Abbie Gail, POV which is different than others I have read. Abigail lost her parents & has to go live with distant relatives in London, which is vastly different than the life she was use to in Florida. Strange things happen - like shadows, faint gold colored paint on drawers, and a strange tinkling sound - which make her curious about her new home. Little does she know what happens when that curiosity becomes her reality! She meets Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, & her own little personal fairy named Fidget. This story is incredible! Highly recommend to those who love retellings, Peter Pan, or just a romance read.
I didn’t expect to enjoy a book about Peter Pan as much as this! It kept my attention the whole way through! The old story and the new parts worked so well together that made the story feel complete!
