New Adult Romance author. Reading was my earliest passion, often seeking the sanctuary of my room or the library to read everything I could get my hands on. I penned romantic poetry in high school and was winning school awards for my short stories at 16. In college I would hibernate in the library for days at a time, consuming every short story and novel I could find.

I probably drink too much coffee and eat too much junk food, but to compensate do like running and rollerblading outdoors when the weather is nice. I'm a hopeful romantic who prefers stories with a happy ending. You can often find me in a library or coffee shop working on my next story, or with my nose in a book.

What an ending! I don't want to give anything away, but will say I was pleasantly surprised. Daniel, Damien and Emma are fantastic characters, and with the addition of Nick we are given a bonus of a friend like no other. Clarissa Carlyle took us on a journey with a fantastic, independent woman and learn to trust and love. With best friends and a father to support your dreams, anything is possible. I loved the ending of this serial! Laurie West finishes it out with an amazing performance. She drives us to the height of emotion and lets us basque in the happiness.

I enjoyed reading this story. I was given this story for a review. This is the final chapter in Emma’s struggles. She has sworn off men and romantic relationships as Daniel finally wakes up to try to make Emma his. This does end with a happy ever after. Over all I enjoyed reading the series. I would recommend it to be read. I hope Nick and Damion both get theirs.

This is the last book in this series, and you start of with Emma and Nick kissing but then Nick turns round and tells Emma that he only sees her as a friend and he doesn't want to ruin that by sleeping with her because if he wanted her that way he would have had her a long time ago. Emma then ends up fleeing from his apartment and then decides to stay and hibernate for a week but then Damion comes by saying that Daniel has decided that he is going back to London, this completely shocks Emma as she didn't think he'd be going back that soon.

For the next few months things at Emma's company are taking a life of it's own and it's all doing well, she completely avoids Nick because she was embarrassed with what happened back at his apartment, but other than that Nick has been working in the background and put together an amazing display launch for Emma's company.
Emma finally see's Nick at the launch and things start of being awkward but then they discuss things and everything goes back to how it was between them. Whereas back in London Daniel finally realises that he doesn't want to be there and wants to go back home so he gets on a plane and searches for Damion and he suggests that he go and talk to her to see if she will forgive him but when he does get there Emma completely shocks him by saying that she doesn't want to just forgive him so easily as she already knows that things wont work between them. He ends up going back to Damion to see what he can do and he ends up suggesting that he needs to do something big but something that shows he is serious.

Will Emma forgive him and let him back into her life just like that or will have to work harder before he looses her for good. This has been such an amazing series to read. You connect with the story and the characters, Clarissa Carlyle has done an amazing job with this series.

I think this story would have had more depth and something going for it if the author had just written an actual novel rather than think about writing six volumes with so few pages. The characterisations were ridiculous. Three men with these supposed strong personalities (one of them was a son of a mob boss for god sake!) and were all pussy whipped pansies for the heroine that wasn't even that nice of a person! Honestly, it's a good thing they were available on kindle unlimited because I would have stopped after the first one otherwise because the need to know what happened wasn't worth paying for each individual volume.

This whole series was written in such a way that I had no idea who was going to end up together! Was a total surprise. A fantastic performance from Laurie. Very enjoyable.
