Lila I moved to Snowmass Village in need of a fresh start. I left behind a painful past and a heartbreak, and now I plan to rebuild my life one pastry at a time. My only focus now is just the bakery. That’s it. No more men. No more relationship. No more love. But then I meet Ben—the irresistible, charming, hot firefighter. Just one look and he manage to make me forget my “no more men” rule. Everything about him makes my heart race and my stomach flutter. He makes me feel safe. Secure. Wanted. I don’t want to get hurt again. But if my secret come to light—will he choose me? Because if I fall, he has the power to destroy what little is left of me. I should keep a distance, but the pull between us is too strong.
Ben I’m a dedicated firefighter, living a life shaped by duty and danger. For years, I’ve kept love at arm’s length. Relationships don’t mix well with a career built around risk, and I’ve never been one to chase women or love—it’s not my thing. But then I meet Lila. She’s everything I want. Everything I need. Strong, beautiful, and sexy as hell. She makes my heart race and flips my carefully built world upside down. Suddenly, I’m craving more than just the next adrenaline rush. I crave a future with her. I crave her. She doesn’t just light a fire in me. She is the fire. And she’s going to be mine.
Forged in Flames is a heartfelt, steamy small-town romance about fresh starts, emotional healing, and the kind of love that sneaks up on you when you least expect it. Lila’s journey of rebuilding her life after heartbreak felt genuine and easy to connect with, and the bakery setting added a cozy, comforting touch to the story.
Ben is a standout hero—strong, protective, and emotionally guarded in a way that makes his slow unraveling so satisfying. His firefighter background adds both tension and depth, and the dual POV allows you to really understand the fears and desires driving both characters. Their chemistry is undeniable, balancing sweetness with just the right amount of heat.
While the storyline follows familiar romance tropes, the emotional connection between Lila and Ben keeps it engaging and enjoyable. This is a comforting, feel-good read with spice, heart, and a happy-ever-after that makes it worth the ride.
Perfect for fans of small-town romances, firefighter heroes, and stories about learning to trust love again. 🔥💕

I was kindly gifted this book by the author and it was a lovely palette cleanser from the Fantasy and Dark Romance that I read.
It's an insta love from the beginning which I don't normally like but enjoyed it and how the story panned out. I enjoyed the second half of this book with the action.
The book cover is stunning and the inside pages at the beginning.
Thank you for giving me the chance to review this book and look forward to the next two books that are coming out with the others stories!
