Sleep No More is the kind of thriller that sneaks up on you. At first, it feels like a straightforward crime story, but the deeper you go, the more you realize how intricately the emotional and psychological layers are woven. What I appreciated most is that the book doesn’t rely on cheap scares or forced twists—it builds its tension through atmosphere, character histories, and a growing sense that something is terribly off beneath the surface.

The book spends time exploring why people do what they do—their fears, their guilt, their fractured memories. It’s not just a puzzle; it’s a study of human behavior under pressure. That made the story resonate beyond the thriller genre.

The descriptions—especially in the scenes involving the train and the households connected to the case—are so immersive that I felt like I could hear the ambient noises, feel the cold, and see the tension on people’s faces.

Even though the main twist is strong, a couple of side plot turns are easier to guess. Not a dealbreaker, but it slightly reduces the shock value for seasoned thriller readers.
