I loved Veil and finished it in a weekend, so I was excited when a friend told me about the chapbook “Stretch-neck”. Without spoiling anything about Veil, this read provides insight into Tommy’s character and makes me appreciate his actions & decisions in Veil that much more. While the timing of Stretch-Neck is almost synonymous with Veil’s opening chapter, it is interesting to read about the unfolding of this global event from a different perspective than John Calhoun’s. I wish there were more chapbooks, Jonathan Janz! For Miranda especially.
