This is book two in The Shorline Chronicles.
Each book thus far has been different meaning themes and main characters are different in each story. However, they all are part of the same universe/town so these two characters you have seen/heard about in book 1 Sundust.

Book two follows Pearson the MMC and Skyl the FMC (who is also a vampire). The book shows us their relationship unfold. In this unfolding we get to work through Skyla’s trauma of being a vampire who needs to feed.

You’ll absolutely fall in love with Pearson *swoon* because we have. It is a medium level spice, for us at least. Their life is drama and you’ll feel like you’re part of their world, or at least part of the Shorline community.

It is kind of slow, but not in a bad way more in an indie romcom movie sort of way because we’re watching two people fall in love with each other and admit it.
The two main characters from book 1 make an appearance in Lightlust which adds to not only continuity, but also that you’re part of Shorline.

If you want a vampire romance story that feels like real life or at least like it could happen to anyone and you like golden retriever type dudes this book is for you.

A great quick one sitting novella that is entertaining and engaging. It had a good balance of romance, depth, and character development. There were character appearances from book one and it was nice to see them again. Skyla and Pearson’s story was heartfelt and sweet. Thank you for the eARC!

I really enjoyed Sundust, the first book in this series, and was excited to experience Skyla's story. Her connection with Pearson is obvious even if she tries her best to deny it. Again, I really enjoy the author's take on vampires. Highly recommend picking this one up!
