Skyla Alderton has built a quiet, bloodless life for herself. Running “Lil Bite of Shoreline” with her brother Caleb keeps her grounded, but the wounds of losing her girlfriend Kylee to a blood-hungry vampire still burn. She doesn't drink human blood, doesn't date humans, and definitely doesn't want to fall for the soft-eyed, math-confused till boy who just won't stop smiling at her.

Pearson Reeves doesn’t get vampires. They're broody, intimidating, and way too obsessed with control. Skyla’s no exception—she’s cold, bossy, and has never once laughed at his puns. He’s also never wanted someone so badly in his life.

So when Skyla proposes an arrangement—just sex, no feelings, no blood—Pearson agrees. He shouldn't. He knows he shouldn’t. But the more they push against each other, the more they unravel. And Skyla? She’s beginning to wonder if her heart might be even hungrier than her fangs.

Thank you so much to Laewyn Finch for this ARC! 🖤

Okay I am completely obsessed! This was such a cute story and I finished it in one go! I loved the first book in this series, and this one went beyond my expectations.

I adored Skyla and Pearson beyond anything!Their journey and healing felt so precious, and their dynamic and banter and spice 👀 was so good!!

If you’re looking for a sweet vampire x human story with romance, spice, and lots of healing, this one is perfect!! 🫶🏻

Overall, a really enjoyable book. I loved everything about Pearson and how patient and sweet and forgiving he was .
The more less said our past does not define us, nor does our mistakes. Skyla is a very dominant woman and knows what she wants and how she wants it.
