Four years ago, Terra lost her father, her family, and her innocence at a party in her honor at the Hounds of Havoc Wyoming Motorcycle Club clubhouse. Now she's graduated from UCLA and back in Jackson Hole for her dream job on the arm of the nomad who saved her.
Her father wants to repair the relationship he threw away. ICE wants to keep her. And the man who broke her believes he owns her. Can she rebuild her life on the ashes of everything she left behind?
Absolutely, yes. The plot. The characters. The emotional growth. The politics. The found family. The realistic scenarios. And ICE & Terra? God, I swoon.
I’m so glad MCRomance Book Club selected this as the February read so I could discover this author, experience this story, and have another series to get excited about.
Check your triggers, there is dark content on page, but it’s done well.
I really enjoyed this story for the emotional depth and character growth it portrays. The FMC's journey of healing after a traumatic assault is both raw and inspiring, made even more impactful by the unwavering support of the MMC. The narrative also explores the complicated process of forgiving a parent who mishandled a painful situation, adding another layer of realism and heart to the story.
ICE and Terra’s love story is truly remarkable. Terra truly deserved a happy ending! ICE’s love for her and his patience as he helped her heal were both beautiful. Trust in your tribe to get you through all things. This is a low-spice, slow-burn love story that I couldn’t get enough of these characters. I’m looking forward to the rest of the stories, especially Peaches…he needs his own!
This was such a good and quick read that kept me sucked in the whole time!
Terra's resilience is amazing and seeing her go through her healing journey after ICE rescued her was wonderful. She fought against the trauma and didn't let it ruin her life. ICE fell first and fell hard, and he was just so amazing with Terra throughout the whole journey. I felt like ICE is that perfect morally grey, yet cinnamon roll MMC that most of us love.
I love how Terra and Peaches were able to repair their relationship, however, for me personally I wish he would have had to grovel a bit more because she had every right to be upset with him.
If you love MC romance, you will definitely enjoy this book. I do recommend you check your triggers. While the whole book isn't necessarily dark, there's some things that happen right at the start of the book, on page, that could be triggering. Can't wait for book 2 to come out!
So. Good. I started this on a whim after seeing the countdown on tiktok, but now I'm sticking around as a fan. Loved ICE and Terra's story. Peaches' redemption arc was everything! No spoilers but I love the way the story flowed, the writing sucked you in and held on tight. I'm ready to read more and look forward to Ink's story.
This was my first read by this author. I was drug into the book from the first chapter even if it was a hard one to read. Definitely well written. I did not want top put it down. Loved ICE Amy Terra was so strong. This definitely won’t be the last book by this author! Loved it!
