Rebel against the fear and lies, For deep inside, the truth must rise.
Newly stripped of her powers, Evelyn has been branded a traitor — but so has Kade, plagued by foreboding nightmares and wrestling with a magic he fears. All the while, the Blood Goddess is tightening her hold on the north, as division and chaos rise in Sorin.
When a brutal attack forces them on the run, Kade and Evelyn go in search of a way to recover her magic. But even if they can, their enemies have a head start…and unless Kade can master his own power, evil threatens to swallow him whole.
Still bound by a prophecy they feel ill-equipped to fulfil, the pair venture to the depths of truth in their increasingly desperate quest. And as the darkness presses at every door, there is only one path rebellion.

A lover of fantasy since childhood, C.C. discovered her passion for storytelling during high school. With a bachelor’s in creative writing and psychology plus a master’s in mental health counseling, she likes to blend romantic fantasy elements with an understanding of the human psyche. Beyond writing, she’s obsessed with a good latte, and can often be found enjoying one with her husband as they set out on adventures of their own, traveling to various places fit for a fantasy-novel backdrop.
CC is an author local to my hometown and I’ve been sooo honored to be on her street team for her completed trilogy - The Prophecy of Sorin!
If you’re looking for an epic romantic fantasy with witches, werewolves, vampyres, slow burn romance, fated mates, murder mysteries, multiple love stories, quests, betrayal, plot twists, and ancient prophecies then look no further 🩶
C.C. Tyler's final book in the Prophecy of Sorin delivers a twisting tale that speeds along to the final showdown many of us have anticipated since book 1 (and it is worth the wait)! The final book welcomes new POVs that beautifully layer on different aspects of the story and provide a well-rounded, enchanting and sinister tale of Sorin.
C.C. continues on with Evelyn and Kade's fated story as two major players in the prophecy. Evelyn and Kade, while still struggling against many a fate and foe, serve as our most stable and settled pairing of the books -- giving us sizzling and spicy moments as well as spots of vulnerability as the story grows darker. C.C. also does a beautiful job of growing the dynamic between Tovi and Eldrick -- our werewolf and vampire pairing that appears doomed from the started. I really enjoyed the story of love and sacrifice from these two. While I often yelled at them, they had this wonderfully poetic story between love and duty. Finally, and I will admit they stole the show for me a bit, C.C. delivers a second chance romance in Lorkan and Blair. There story caught me by surprise with its yearning, misadventures, and forced proximity. Their plot was a welcome addition to this final chapter of the series.
C.C.'s longest book in the series does a wonderful job of balancing plot development/advancement as we grow near and near to fulfilling the prophecy with character development, romance, found family, and overcoming inevitable challenges.
While I am sad that this series is over, this book makes a beautiful conclusion to an epic fantasy filled with werewolves, witches, and vampires fighting for a new world order.
It's been absolutely amazing being part of the street team celebrating the release of the finale for the Prophecy of Sorin trilogy! This book was a chunky one because so much was happening. And I loved every minute!
The stakes were so high as this series has really explored the cost and sacrifices associated with power. I loved Evelyn's character growth as a person as she embraces being a leader while having lost her magic, meanwhile supporting Kade as he grapples with his own emerging power. They are still my favourite couple in the trilogy.
But excuse me while I swoon over Lorkan and Blair! We love men who yearn, especially ones who wear slutty glasses! The forced proximity between him and Blair only intensified the banter and yearning, which were some of my favourite moments.
All of the POVs were balanced so well and added to the overarching plot. With a prophecy, political tensions, found family, and overcoming the odds, To Rise & Rebel delivered such an emotionally impactful ending. I'm sad that the series is over because I have adored these vampires, werewolves and witches. I can't recommend this series enough if you've enjoyed The Witch Collector, The Memory Puller or Dire Bound.
I have long awaited book 3 in this series and it didn't disappoint. It is very long and does start off a bit slower with a lot of supporting characters to get to know. Around half way the pace and action really pick up. It is definitely spicier than the previous two books as well. I found this book to be the best of the 3 with a lot of action scenes and I think she did a great job wrapping up the story.
Book 3 of the Prophecy of Sorin Trilogy was by far the best out of the three! I enjoyed diving deeper into the history of the characters and loved all of the plot twists. Definitely kept me guessing on what was going to happen next. C.C. took great care in providing enough details that you could literally picture everything that she was describing. I could visualize the characters and scenes perfectly. Absolutely fantastic job! I can't wait to see what's in store for us next!
Good conclusion to an amazing trilogy. I waited for this book for what felt like ages, but it was worth it in the end. It did take me a few chapters to really get into it mostly because I didn't refresh my brain so kind of forgot a lot of what happened at first but my brain eventually caught up. Once my brain got sorted I sped right through this book despite its size. I loved getting even more POVs this book and the plot was crazier than ever, it lots going on to keep you entertained. Over all I very much enjoyed and like the way it finished up. This and look forward to future works from this author!
To Rise and Rebel is such a satisfying finale to the Prophecy of Sorin series. C.C. really goes all in - werewolves, witches, vampires, big battles, big feelings… it’s all here.
The action is nonstop and intense, but what really got me were the relationships. They’re messy (in the best way), old flames resurface, and the rekindled romances absolutely tug at your heart. After following these characters for three books, seeing everything finally come together feels emotional and earned.
There’s drama, tension, heartbreak, and some seriously epic moments. If you love supernatural fantasy with action and romance mixed together, this finale totally delivers. It’s exciting, swoony, and a great wrap-up to the series.
This was a brilliant ending to an incredible trilogy. CC added a third couple in this book and has such a great ability to make me care about each POV and pairing so deeply (though Kade and Evelyn will always hold my heart). A great adventure and a fulfilling ending to a series I’ve been invested in since day one.
The final instalment of the Prophecy of Sorin trilogy does not disappoint. The world is bigger, the cast larger, the stakes higher, and yet the core of this story - a story about embracing power, owning destiny, and stepping feet first into who you are, not who you are meant to be - remains unchanged and oh so comforting and familiar. These relationships, romantic and found family, are so well written that even a book as large as this one flies by in the blink of an eye. A stellar conclusion to a stellar trilogy. I can’t wait to see what @cctyler does next.
I've been invested in this series since before book 2 was released, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the way it finally ended. 3 couples with 3 very different love stories, fated mates, one bed, lots of action, prophecy, and absolutely incredible world building. All 3 books in this series were ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me.
To Rise and Rebel is the final book of the trilogy - and you must be reading this in order!
The Prophecy of Sorin trilogy is just one of my absolute favorites - amazing fantasy world building, complex characters and relationships, danger and risk, and swoony romance. I've loved reading this series, getting to know the author, and I can't speak highly enough about this series to fantasy readers!
Everything has led up to this - where events foretold in a prophecy will come to pass, and everyone must work together to end the curse and stop those factions standing against those fighting for good.
There are 3 very complex relationships entwined in this series, two we know from the previous stories and one new one! Evelyn and Kade - my OG and OTP couple lol I just adore them! Tovi and Eldrick - an excellent enemies to lovers, forbidden romance pairing Blair and Lorkan - fans of second chance romance, forced proximity, and fated mates look out!
The whole book switches POVs between them and I really love how CC wrote this one. We get plenty of time to know Blair and Lorkan and really get into the relationship. I really loved them!
There is so much to say about this - the build up to the final show down, the tension and fear that someone really might not make it, worry over Evelyn and her health as she and Kade worked to get her magic back. OMG, there were just so many great moments in this book. And the epilogue chapters are just everything!
If you want to truly get lost in a fantasy world with amazing and different relationships, between wolf shifters, vampires, magic users, and the gods themselves - then this is a series that you MUST pick up!
I received an arc/review copy in exchange for an honest review.
The first half of the book felt a bit chaotic and a lot happened throughout the book whilst almost each chapter shifted POV. I would have liked the storyline to be a bit more streamlined. Maybe it should have been divided into two books or some of the POV could have been saved for a 3.5 book that showcased another view on the events. Usually I'm very much pro multiple POV but here it was almost too many shifts too fast. I still very much enjoy C.C.'s writing style and storytelling, and I enjoyed following the different plotlines.
The plot in book three took a route that I didn't expect and there was a bit too many spicy chapters for my taste. It may have been different if book 1 & 2 also had a lot of spice in them but it felt a bit forced in book 3 for me, as there suddenly where more spice than usual in the writing and I thought it took some of the spotlight for the more epic events that happened throughout the story. Sadly this didn't captivate me as much as book 1 and 2 did.
I'm excited to read C.C's next book and follow her writing journey as I've been mesmerized by the world she has created.

3.2⭐️ SO MANY TYPOS! The plot was fine but the author put absolutely no effort into editing this book. There was typo after typo and so so many grammatical errors that the book became unenjoyable. There was also 6 different POV’s. We did not need that many and it was exhausting. This book was such a poor end to what could’ve been a great series. Truly disappointing.
I must say it took me a while to finish this one. I’m not for spoilers so I won’t start now😜. I really enjoyed the final book in The Prophecy of Sorin. If you enjoy witches, werewolves and vampires, you’ll really enjoy this. CC Tyler really knows how to write a great story. I hope she continues to write more stories/adventures. I can’t wait to see what comes next from this author.
I met C.C. Tyler at a book convention in 2025 and bought of Faith & Flamed and In Darkness & Duty and absoultely loved them. When this book came out I was so excited and this book did not disappoint. It is on the longer side and took me a little longer to read and it starts off a little slow but once it picked up, it was hard to put down! I can not wait to see what she does next
A great conclusion to an amazing trilogy!! This one was definitely the spiciest and wrapped up the series nicely. I loved getting to meet new characters and follow the original ones. 💕
I really enjoyed the first book. The second book was good but not great. But damn did this third book draggggg on. It needed to be about half the length it was. I felt invested enough in the story to read through it but there were several chapters I simply skimmed page after page after page. Glad I finished it. Good ending. But idk that it’s worth reading the series just because of how this book dragged
I loved this book. It was the best one yet and I enjoyed residents by it. It was suspenseful, steamy and full of surprises. I look forward to more books from this author!
